Columbia Sportswear Company Employee Store

It’s actually bigger than I thought, good sales at like 40% off. Found a few very useful things for this winter.

First off, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that active and retired military personnel were welcomed customers…when I was there I even received an additional discount for Veteran’s Day. My anticipated impression before entering was that of expecting a smaller box/cubicle store you would find at the retail outlets. Not a chance! Spacious and uncommonly well organized with ALL Columbia products represented in a wide variety of styles, sizes, and seasons. And how about fitting rooms where the attendant chalks your name on the outside of the door—with a pleasing smile. The prices are most appropriate and in many instances less than what military folks would encounter for like products in a base or post exchange!

Great selection of discounted outdoor gear. There are deals to be had for sure. Have to come back often as the inventory is always being updated. Nice clean environment, great staff, great presentation and a great return policy.

OUTSTANDING in every way. We were provided exceptional customer service by Kim, Morgan, and David. They were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The store itself had a huge selection & fantastic prices. We live on the other side of the county, but the drive up was definitely worth it. We will be going back! 😃

First time visit. Will definitely plan to go again.
Note to first time shoppers: this is not a traditional store like macys. Or lululemon. This is a little comparable to sample sales.
You will need to show a pass to get in.
Clothing is in racks and shelves like a traditional store but the staff is there to clean and restock mostly. Not to answer questions or help you find a size.
There are only a few fitting rooms. Try on jackets in front of the mirrors around the store and save fitting rooms forget undressed
Expect lines for getting in, fitting rooms, and checking out
Expect things to be in the wrong place
Those inconveniences are worth it for the prices
I got some great deals on fleeces ($26 for thin and $33 for Sherpa like) and puffer jackets! (Less than $200 for Mountain Hardware brand, much less than that for Columbia brand) Some things were xx% off lowest price marked

Must have employee pass, or go on Tuesday if you're a senior over 65. Camping clothes, fleeces, shirts, sleeping bags, boots, hiking shoes, shorts, camping gear (multitools, etc.) & more!

The lady at the fitting rooms was so nice and she gave me great recommendations and helped me choose what she thought would fit best. I bought a couple of things and I will definitely be back! There pants are so comfortable! Awesome place!

Great staff with contemporary, quality goods. You're lucky if you have access to this employee store.

Good prices and a lot of variety! I always make sure to get a few items when I can get a hand on a pass. When we got in Sunday late morning the lines were a little long at the register so I'd suggest going off hours when it's not so busy.

This store is easily one of my favorite places to come and get some awesome winter goods and birthday presents for friends. I came in this past weekend and they were busy!! When I came in, I was stopped by a person on the floor and he asked if I needed help with anything. I had a specific question about the tents and the sleeping bags. When I asked him my questions and which worked better for what I was doing he took everything in and found me the best items. Andrew was so helpful and kind pulling from his own personal experience with the Mineral King tent and the different sleeping bags. He knew exactly about each product, but the sleeping bag that I wanted, they didn’t have anymore. I got the tent and then continued shopping but it wasn’t until about 25 minutes later when Andrew came up to me and told me about this sleeping bag they just opened in the back. It was so awesome this happened because I ended getting everything I needed for going camping that weekend!!

YOU NEED A PASS TO SHOP HERE. This place is great and the prices are great too. They have stock for all seasonal activities.

Must have an invite via email or coupon to shop here. The prices discounted. The stock doesn't change very much. And the service is not typical retail but no complaints

Excellent deals. Great prices and they have a discount for first responders. If you don't find the item that you need you can search and theirthere are computers that are located at the beginning of the store and any Columbia product can then be shipped to the employee store for you to enjoy. They have a great return policy I've been there several times. Fitting rooms are located on the left side of the building. Don't forget to check out the 50 percent off sale in the middle of the store and 20% discounted items at the front of the register.

Alexandra and Sharon managed a miracle! My daughter-in-law who hates to shop, enjoyed herself AND got a great deal on a fab winter coat, pants for field work and a few other items. My son got a great fold away back pack which they enjoyed using the next day.
Great bargains, help when you are in the fitting room and need another size, and fab gear with thoughtful details!!!!

So many good deals on excellent gear

My wife got an invitation through her industry and let me tell you, this place is the bomb. I'm glad I had just gotten paid because I spent a grip of cash on my entire family, and feel I got all my back to work and back to school shopping done all in one store. Along with some exercise clothing and camping gear for my kids.

Yes it's mostly clothing, but mountain hardware does have some tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, etc. Columbia's got luggage and lots of miscellaneous camping gear. There's also some shoe company that I can't remember their name, but I didn't have socks on because if you've read any of my other reviews you know I wear Rainbow sandals everywhere.

Great store employee store thats open to public on Tuesdays. Prices are 50% off on most items. Senior day. 15% off lowest marked price on tag. Great selection

We get invites from my husband's company about once a year. They have great outdoor clothing, shoes, etc. Prices are high but greatly discounted. Employees are always polite. It's always a pleasure to go to the Columbia Store!

Solid deals on current lines. Mountain hardware, Sorel, Prana, and Columbia. Usually 30-60% off, plus occasional seasonal sales. Definitely worth it. Usually can find some good kids clothes, some tents, sleeping bags occasionally, backpacks, hats, gloves, shoes. Don't forget to check the online computers by the door for extra styles/colors/sizes, all for the same discount you can't get from home. Just got some great gear for our next camping trip and a sweater for w@h.
