Exceptionally clean, kind and welcoming staff. Fun to place to play with the kittens and adopt them. The coffee is excellent too. The parking lot right in front is a bit small but there are plenty of parking sports in a very short walking distance. All of the animals are exceptionally well cared for.

They also host parties here in their front room. So if you have kids or just love cats, this is a great place to have a gathering. When you are having a coffee and snack in the main room you can look through big windows into the cat area and watch them run around and do what cats do.

Food and drink alone are worth stopping by. I enjoyed the cat lounge- lots of sweet kitties! My favorite part is that the environment is focused on cat happiness. Noise level is low, no grabbing or picking up or chasing the kitties. The cats can leave the lounge anytime to a separate space. They have plenty of high spots to get to and so many comfy beds and toys and hiding places. Highly recommend 😊

My daughter and l love this cat cafe, and frequently visit on the weekend for some "cat therapy." The staff is so friendly and the cats are the best! The espresso drinks are very good too. I especially like the dirty chai latte.

Coming from the east coast, firstly the space is beautiful! The food variety and drinks were so hard to choose from (so many yummy options), I tried the avogato and asked for a panini caprese without the meat and the staff was accommodating for the request. For drinks I had the lemonade blueberry and on my way out asked for a popular recommendation so got the iced horchata which both had good flavor profile. For a treat had a strawberry danish and they warmed it up.

Cat portion was easy to book online, the signs were straightforward and I didn’t feel lost on where or what to do. The attendant was very sweet and welcoming, there was 15 cats in the space when I went and I was alone for most the session. The babies were all sleepy which totally fine I didn’t try to entice play since they’re resting. I chatted with the attendant and told her I worked at a cat cafe too and asked some general questions. I got sneak peaks of new shy babies which was so nice too! My fav cat was the handicat solid gray 🥰

Overall good experience, calming space def a must go if you’re in SD. If I had to make a comment I wish there was more available merch for purchase but I got a sticker! And the bio boards were a little hard to read to navigate the cats.

I always wanted to come here and finally did! Of course my main reason was to see the cats! Which of course is by appointment only, but we were lucky, because the barista asked if we wanted to see the cats too since they have empty slots as we were ordering drinks. Of course we said yes! The cats were amazing with different personalities and they were adoptable if you think of getting one. Looking forward to going back there again.

This place is super fun!!!! Café part is so clean and nicely decorated. My vanilla latte was really good. The cat experience was adorable. Just to relax and chill with the cats give you some peace and tranquility from this crazy world. I just Sat back and let the cats do their thing. It’s not a petting zoo, us humans are being invited into the home of the cats, so just sit back and enjoy. Some of the cats could care less and other were interacting with us. There’s toys and things to play with, but i just Liked watching the cats who were napping up high on their little perches and hammocks. I wish i could Have adopted one right then and there :) There’s a “tour guide” that welcomes you in and stays in the room to answer any questions you have about the cats or adoption. I forgot Her name, but she was very sweet. love the concept and the cause. I’ll go again for sure!

We love this place. It's so calming and peaceful with the kitties. 😸 My daughter and girlfriend both enjoy their time here every single time we visit. We do wish that there were more kittens out and about the times that we do visit.

Staff was so kind. Cute coffee shop where you can play with cats. Relaxed atmosphere. If you don't want to touch the cats you can look at them through the window. Kept beautiful and clean.

This location features a unique and cozy setting allowing you to view adoptable felines from a lounge or pay for 1 hour sessions where you can interact with their rescued cats while enjoying your purchased coffee and/or pastries. We had a great time and appreciated the welcoming and kind service we received during our visit. A very cool experience for anyone who enjoys cats and coffee.

Absolutely amazing! Came here because it was the only cat cafe around. Was extremely impressed. The cappuccino was extremely good and the early riser sandwich was delicious. The building is split into 2 parts; the cafe area and the cat area. The cat area is a different room that you can pay to go into and be with the cats for a hour. The cafe and cat area are separated by glass so while you eat and drink you can watch the cats sleep and play. All of the cats there are up for adoption. Will definitely be coming here every few days for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommend coming here if you like cats or just good coffee. I also got a ice chai latte and it was very very good. Staff where also super friendly and nice. Coffee only took about a minute and the food took 3. Very quick service.

GREAT experience. My fiancé and I visited Cat & Craft in August of 2023 while on vacation in San Diego. LOVED the set-up that even if you did not choose to visit with the kitties, you could watch and enjoy them through the glass window. Coffee was great and the kitties were so sweet. Happy to pay/donate to visit the kitties as is typical with any cat cafe. Great place to visit and get a "kitty fix" while away from our "Furry 5." Paws in the air for Cat & Craft!

I really like Cat & Craft! Their drinks and food are really good, the lounge area is spacious, very clean and modern, and is a great place for reading and/or working.
Some reviews complain about the fee to play with the cats, which I find surprising. The fee is clearly communicated on their website and it’s a very common thing. I’ve been to cat cafes before and they all follow this model, except that they are generally a lot more expensive! Cat & Craft charges $12 per person which is a good price. Most of the cat cafes I’ve been to range around $20-25 per person.
I just wanted to share this because there isn’t anything unreasonable or weird about the fee.
Also, you can take your drink with you to the cat lounge area, some other cafes I’ve been to don’t allow that.

Wowza! Getting my car serviced down the street at Tesla and can’t recommend enough. First let’s start with the cool concept of having Foster cats available to meet and spend time with to help promote adoption!!! This was so fun!! Enriching for me and the cats. I’m not in the market for a cat but sure did enjoy killing some time playing with them. It was clean, designed well, and comfortable. The staff there were awesome and very fun to chat with.

Next the coffee shop, wow. Impressed. The toast flight was a true culinary awesome
surprise . All three I chose were amazing!! Avogadro, cinnamon brûlée, and seasonal fruit with mascarpone. I got earl grey tea with pumpkin spice and oatmilk and it was delish.

They have 2 sides, one just for the coffee shop and the other for the cat interaction and enrichment. They charge for 1/2 hour or 1 hour slots $9/$15 respectively.

All the cats looked well cared for and healthy.

Highly recommend if you have some time to kill or want a pick me up.

This is a wonderful way to help homeless cats find forever homes. The setting was perfect. Cafe has great gourmet coffee selections and pastries. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cat room was awesome. Great way to interact with cats and give them some love while waiting to be adopted. I highly recommend supporting Cat & Craft. We adopted Liam. Whole process was professional, yet personal. They know a lot about the cats in their care and were able to recommend a cat that would fit our home situation. We adore Liam and are so happy he is now part of our family.

I’m so grateful for Cat & Craft Cafe. I had a great time playing with the cats! Whether you are looking to adapt, or just want to hang out and play with the kitties this is the perfect place. I’ll be back for sure for the great coffee and cat time.

Came here because my friend Adam loves cats. He won’t stop talking about them and he loves waffles (which they have, very delicious). Great spot to see cats through a glass wall or pay to play with them. Our kids loved this place as well.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I had been looking for a place to take my toddler to play with cats, since she LOVES them but unfortunately dad has terrible car allergies, therefore we can't own one. We traveled from South Bay Area and it was worth it! The cats are super cute, the coffee is good, and the toasts are delicious! It's amazing what they are doing at Cat & Craft, bless them for all the work they do for these cats

Cat & Craft was wonderful! The cafe had a great variety for drinks and food. We had the Acai bowl and it was delicious! The Cat Lounge was a charming, comfortable space filled with adorable adoptable kittens and cats. The staff, Mary, was very knowledgeable about the adoptions process and each of the cats. She was also very helpful and willing to answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend going by if you are interesting in adopting and even if you just like playing with the cats!

Wonderful place to watch cats play! You can choose to relax and watch interaction from the restaurant, or make a small donation to interact in the playroom for 1 hour. Employees are friendly, food and drinks are fantastic ! The place is extremely clean, and the decor and cat toys are great!
