Raven did a very thorough job inspecting our furnace and on demand water system. Having owned a house in Alaska for over 15 years, and now living out of State with tenants, they were happy to schedule direct with my tenants, making it easy for everyone. Without requesting, they sent pictures of the units inspected, and needed repairs well as a detailed reports. It was really nice to be able to see from the mainland that everything looks nice and tight under the house!

Kirk was very knowledgeable and efficient. I was impressed he knew exactly what was wrong with the heater, he had the part in stock with him, and the replacement went quickly. Kirk was friendly and courteous and he knew how to handle the billing portion as well. I will recommend Discount Mechanical to my friends and family. I am a happy customer.

Discount mechanical was quick to send a technician to my home for a furnace repair. Kirk P. was fast and proficient at diagnosing a bad circuit board and had the problem fixed immediately. Kirk also answered any of my questions in detail and was obviously knowledgeable.

My service appointment with Abu A was wonderful! He was polite, courteous, and very thorough. I like that he gave me a call with an estimate arrival time, answered my questions and did a great job of explaining the situation. I would definitely call Discount Mechanical again!

Outstanding service. Discount Mechanical was first to get me on the calendar when our furnace started struggling. Brian came out and diagnosed the problem (another company confirmed it). Our furnace was TOAST! Their team had us up an running in 3 days with a new furnace. Robert and Cameron came out and said what they were gonna do and did what they said. When they needed a part, they didn't leave BUT Discount Mechanical had the part come to them! They explained everything and even improved the filter installation set-up. There are good services in Anchorage but Discount earned our business and as a real estate agent, my referrals.

As most emergencies happen, it was late at night and over the weekend! We had a leak in our garage ceiling. So thankful Discount Mechanical Heating and Plumbing, had an answering service to at least get me on the schedule. I couldn’t thank Kirk enough, he was super helpful, explained everything thoroughly. Kirk found the problem, fixed it all up in less than two hours!

Discount mechanical has been fantastic in my experience. They’ve come out to repair and install heater systems for my house and done a great job. Their communication and customer care is unlike any other business I’ve frequented, that goes across trades and sectors. They’ll take your call seriously and get you on the calendar before anybody else.

Raven is the absolute best service technician I have ever had. Quite simply she broke down what maybe occurring with our system and why it maybe happening. She did this in a professional unpatrionizing way. Super appreciate her. Outstanding job 10 out of 10.

Abu has been our technician twice now. On both occasions he did a great job at explaining what was causing the issue and the steps he would take to fix it. He also made sure all of our questions were answered. Both jobs were completed in a timely manner. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Abu and the Discount Mechanical team.

Abu did an excellent job. Efficiently fixed my bathtub’s faucet handle which kept breaking. I am absolutely thrilled to have a working shower again!

Kirk was able to stop the rattle of an internal component in my garage heater that had been bothering me for 7 years. By doing this, he saved me thousands of dollars over purchasing a new unit as I am only halfway through the lifecycle of this current garage heater. The prior team from Discount Mechanical it was just out here a couple of weeks ago. Also installed a suspension hanging system for it that is much more secure for the next earthquakes that rattle this great state! Well done guys!

It was a very good experience with Discount. There was some confusion and misunderstanding with scheduling at first, but they figured it all out for us. Besides, they could have charged us for 2 different appointment (and we would not know the difference), but they were honest and set us up with just 1 appointment that will serve the 2 different issues we were having, which has saved us some money!!! Their pricing is fair as well. We will definitely come back. 💪

Peter was wonderful, very professional, courteous and walked me through everything he was doing. The people who scheduled the appointment gave us a 3 hour window to which they did not call to say they were running late until after I’d called after the 3 hours had come and gone. From the time I was told 11am-2pm someone came at 5:45pm. Timing aside the work and the technician were great.

Peter N. Was absolutely great! He was quick, efficient and kept me updated with everything that he was doing and explained why. He also cleaned up the space when he was finished. Very pleasant tech!

Abu is really good at his job and he's very nice and approachable, he managed to see where the leak is coming from so fast. Very knowledgeable. It's our first time getting something fix and it's so hard for us to trust someone who can do it but Abu and the company didn't disappointed us.
