Princess Restaurant

We visited the Princess Restaurant in mid March 2023. It was wonderful. I had the turkey dinner, very, very good. Great coffee. The grilled broccoli is a can’t miss! Sandy, our server, was great, very friendly! The owner Lauren was there, making delicious homemade Easter chocolates in all shapes and sizes with her grandfather’s candy molds. We took home some of the chocolate peanut butter eggs and chocolate coconut eggs. They were amazing! I highly recommend visiting here when in Frostburg, a perfect small town.

Cut little throwback diner in Frostburg. Stopped in here while out visiting family in Grantsville. Everything was delicious, and quite affordable. Was the first part of a lovely morning wandering through downtown Frostburg checking out the shops.

ABSOLUTELY loved this establishment. Food prices and atmosphere are definitely worth the visit.!
Honestly gonna be coming back more often.

Love to eat in mom and pop diners instead of chains...and Princess Restaurant was the best!!! So glad we stop. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful.. the eggs look like out of a magazine. Price was great and service was awesome...Can't wait to come back.

One of the best Reubens I've ever had.. & their piggy fires were the bomb!! Would definitely love to revisit.

Any meal at the Princess Restaurant is a good one. Home cooked meals and pies made in house! Portions are large and prices are reasonable.

Add to that the original 1930s wooden booths and old fashioned feel to the space, and you have a winner!

One of my favorite diners along the Great Allegheny Passage. Friendly fast and low priced but so delicious!!!

Awesome. Back when America was GREAT. good food and service is perfect. And the jukebox selectors still work!!! I almost feel like I need to go to the sock hop.

Love the Princess! Waitresses are great. Food is great. Atmosphere hasn't changed since I was a kid.

Love going there with my wife. We both have the chicken imperial with a side of mash potatoes and broccoli. Delicious everytime. Good atmosphere, great service, and very decently priced. Also we get to set at the same booth that president Harry Truman sat at while passing through frostburg. Pretty cool if you ask me.😀👍

Great food and great pricing. Restaurant is bigger than it looks. Staff are very friendly and they do a great job of keeping everything cleaned. Food was served in a very timely manner. Not so fast that you feel rushed but not so long as to make you wonder where it's at. The booths were a rather tight fit for myself. I'm 6'4" 260 for reference. Those that are smaller than myself may find them comfortable. Those who are bigger like myself would most likely be more comfortable using the stools at the counter or the tables on the other side of the restaurant. Regardless, I would definitely recommend the Princess Restaurant to those looking for a local and affordable yet delicious meal with great service and great staff. To my knowledge They do not serve alcohol so those looking for a drink with their meal may want to go elsewhere. However, you'd be missing out. Also if I'm wrong about the service of alcohol, please feel free to lmk and I'll try to edit this so that it's correct and accurate.

Good breakfast food served in an efficient way.

Good food, good prices, good service. Delish cheeseburgers, vanilla cokes, and Reuben sammich.

The food was delicious! It Looked like a diner. Lots of booths. It was slow but our waitress was a bit distracted so I didn't get my pancakes til the end. But overall we were satisfied.

Chili was excellent with a touch of sweetness and just added cheese and a dollop of sour cream. The steak sandwich was not your typical cheese steak but an actual tender round steak on a bun... melted in my mouth. Just a few fries for some yummy carbs with the perfect slaw. It is hard to get the perfect amount of mayo, vinegar, and sugar. Perfection! Topped off with one of their peanut butter eggs that I will have to make sure and purchase some and take home to friends. Thanks, Hunter, for the tip of a great meal that I would have overlooked. Server even called her customers by name. Gotta love small-town hospitality. I will be back and spread the word. I am usually a PITA customer!

Visiting Frostburg for the first time in decades when my Grandmother still lived there. I felt kind of lost since the town and Main street have changed a lot. But the staff at the Princess Diner were so friendly and kind. They made me feel at home.
The home fries were amazing. Great stop for breakfast. And the homemade Easter candy and chocolate!! I'll be back for sure.

It was a great place for a quick meal with the best old fashioned soda fountain atmosphere. They have an old jukebox that doesn't work at every table just like the old days. It's just like you have stepped back in time including the prices. The food was great and the service was quick and amazing.

This place is like a time capsule! There's quarter operated mini juke boxes on the tables (they're out of order unfortunately) and the food was good and cheap. Immaculate vibes!

Such a lovely place. Great for breakfast. I had the Western omelette with cheese and it was really good. Music boxes were a really cool touch
