Great dog park. Shaded, fresh water, picnic tables and benches. Separate small dog and big dog area. Even a portapotty for 2 legged beasts! Big fenced area. Ground cover is wood mulch.

We were really sad when the One Loudoun dog park closed. Forced to chose between South Riding and this, this won because it’s usually busier and has water. Most of the dog owners are really chill too.

I used to walk this ground a long time ago and it is still a quiet interlude in the midst of the sprawling mess that is Leesburg. The pond is beautiful in the spring before the algae goes crazy and covers the entire surface.

Good dog park, which often gets new mulch put down. The area is generally shaded, which is great for hot summer days. Though on cooler days or wet days, the grounds can be muddy. As for experiences, it can vary and depend greatly on attentive owners.

It is a very well maintained area. The dogs have plenty of water when they get thirsty. There is a lot of shade. There is a little lake or pond that is actually pretty nice. Just all around this park brings me smiles because of how well thought out and planned it was.

This park is a small gem. It is right off Route 7 and has a large dog park with a small dog area. There is a water source pulling from a well to refill the dog bowls there and the people who bring their dogs there are great. I try to go to this park whenever possible despite it not being the closest to my house.

I have taken my dog Zeus there almost every day for coming on 5 years. I recommend it to everyone I meet -that has a dog.

When I first moved here and didn't know anyone the "9am group" became my friends and local guides. It didn't matter our backgrounds. We all had dogs that needed to run. They became a pack, all while new dogs joined and other left.

You have to be respectful to the other owner, the park and to the dogs and then it is all fun. Even if you are on your cell, or talking with people you just met, keep and eye for when your pup goes poop. They have recycled bags and cans right here.

The dogs in the evening do tend to be more high spirited because owners were at work all day. If you or your dog are timid, earlier is better. Same with weekends.

I have only met one dog whose owner was asked not to come back with him. Every once in a while dogs need to be separated. Use common sense and all is good. Leave if there is a problem but be sure to come another time. They are dogs. I usually find that the dogs work it out but it is the owner that is worried for them. Don't be. They know the rules and will figure it out on their own.

Don't bring food or treats, and kids under 8 can not go in. It is for their safety. When the more muscular dogs start chasing and playing they come fast and can take your feet out from under.

There is water and a hose. Lots of shade and even a pond with a walking path for after they blow off steam

Please come. The dog park in Leesburg is the great ethnic equalizer. So long as you come with a dog ready to have fun. Cultural and pup diversity is alive and well.

Almost forgot, there is now a fenced area for small dogs.

Come have fun! My dog is Zeus. Husky German Shepard in pics.

Beautiful small park with a pond and dog park. One warning is be prepared to have a muddy dog, especially after a rain. The park is well maintained and usually has a good amount of dog traffic.

Great place to bring young kids for a stroll near the lake, and viewing wildlife. Easy to get to, but surrounded by forests once there. Large and popular dog park. Fishing allowed too. The creek is popular for wading and catching polywogs.

My puppies love this dog park. Its very spacious and had water bowls, it's completely mulch though. Be prepared to get messy if it's a rainy day.

The best dog park in Leesburg that I know of. Huge area with woodchips on the ground for the dog area. A couple pick nick benches for the owners. Also there is a creek in the park as well that is deep enough for dogs to swim in. The water is pretty clean.

The dog park here is great. It has an area for small dogs and a big area for bigger dogs. It has always been well kept. There are also walking treails around the pond.

My dog loved the dog park. It wasn't too crowded. The other owners were very friendly. Will definitely be bringing my dog back for more doggy fun!

Gets a lot more traffic and doggie friends than any other dog park that I have been to in this area.
