DoubleTree by Hilton Dulles Airport - Sterling

The DoubleTree was one of the most amazing accommodation experiences I've had in my life. I travel a lot to sing in different places, and the quality of my rest and accommodations is a huge factor to my ability to recover and perform well. Suffice to say this place was more than adequate.

They have an in-house Bistro downstairs with great quality food that is not priced exorbitantly, their breakfast buffet had a great nutritious spread of selections, and their lunch and dinner menu was spectacular.

The rooms were immaculate. Clean, beautiful view out the windows, comfortable bed/sheets and a gorgeous bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection was also extremely strong and stable, and I could even play a high-demand-bandwidth video game with no issues.

The location is conveniently 12-15 minute drive away from the Washington Dulles Airport, and the best part is that you can call the hotel (their number is right on their website) and ask for a courtesy shuttle to come and pick you up and drive you to the hotel for free. You have to wait for awhile for the shuttle but it saves so much money and hassle.

The staff were all incredibly kind and patient with me, I would like to mention Assistant General Manager Kevin Kim for being truly considerate and catering to my needs to make sure I felt welcomed and wanted. Him and the rest of the staff (who tended the Bistro bar etc.) were a great part of this wonderful experience.

Lovely, cool,and clean! Apparently the air for the lobby & restaurant was broken, sad for the staff, but we didn't spend too much time there. The room was lovely - big bed that was almost high enough to need a step stool to get on! The staff was friendly & accommodating. Free shuttle to the airport, too! Only disappointment - I didn't get a cookie!

It was a nice stay. The rooms however are not the cleans. The towels about 95 percent has spots on them. The beds were comfortable. I didn't eat the breakfast it is a fee. The staffs are very friendly. Beside housekeeping everything was good. I always bring clorox wipes so I clean behind them the only reason It was not a deal breaker. They really need to get better housekeepers already most hotels struggle with that.

5 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TRIP

Hotel was in a great location, close to everything we needed to go to from Washington Football Camp, to shopping and dining locations. Hotel was very clean, especially the rooms, and the pool area.

The staff here deal very kindly with “distressed passengers” from IAD (Dulles airport). After arriving late, and the restaurant was closed, the staff was gracious enough to still prepare food for me and some other guests who had missed connecting flights. Bryan at the front desk was very friendly and provided some bottled water. The room was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast buffet with a variety of options. Although I was bummed to miss a connection due to flight delays, this was a nice respite after a long day stuck at an airport.

The hotel was located close to an event I attended. The hotel staff were attentive and professional always making eye contact and saying hello when approached. I used the Hilton Honors app to check and obtain a digital key that worked perfectly. The room was clean and had a spacious bathroom. The bedding was nice and plush and we had the right amount of pillows for the stay. The lounge food was very tasty and moderately priced. I would recommend for anyone looking for an inexpensive, clean hotel that is conveniently located a few miles from Dulles Airport.

Due to a missed flight, our family of 6 and at least 20 other stranded travelers descended on the front desk clerk at 1:00 am. She was efficient and patient. Our rooms were clean and welcoming with comfy beds. Breakfast was abundant and yummy and served by friendly staff. The facility might be a tad dated, but cleanliness and kind, hard working people mean the most to us, which is why I give it 5 stars.

It is a bit tucked away from everything and the food in the restaurant is mediocre at best.... but, Bill the evening bartender is absolutely wonderful and makes this a place worth coming to when you want to feel at home while away.

I travel often and I have to say that this hotel was one of the best I have stayed at. Customer service at check in and out was polite, friendly and process smooth. The woman checking us in was sweet and very personable. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. We stayed in and ate at the restaurant and the woman tending the bar was amazing. The food was delicious, customer service top notch and we enjoyed the ambiance of drinks by the fire. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast there. Again, the experience was amazing. Highly recommend this location, you won't be disappointed!

Hotel Was Further Out Than Expected from DC. Comfortable Bed n Wonderful bathroom. Couch n dining table were horrible as old, chairs seats peeling and couch so lumpy n beat up from years n years of use.

The staff was very professional and friendly. Lobby was clean. The mini store was clean a bit small. Could have a few other type of food and snacks maybe some fresh fruit. I forgot my toothbrush they brought one up to me quickly. Food and drinks were a little pricey in the restaurant. When I tried to ask a supervisor a question she was a bit rude. However, the bartender apologized to our party for the incident and gave us a percentage off the bill which was really nice. Room and bathroom where very clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were clean and warm.

Relaxing! Out of city but close to shopping centers in August 2010 😭😭😭 came here from Saudi Arabia 😭😭😭

This Double Tree was conveniently located to area shopping and provide airport shuttle service. The room was nice and the breakfast bar was outstanding. The staffs was extremely nice and helpful. The only disappointment we had was not being able to use the hotel business center because none of the computers were working.

Man! what a hotel, attention from its staff it's amazing, always kind and helpful. Rooms are CLEAN and spacious, Restaurant food is very good, if you go to the bar , Ivette will take care of you and she will make your experience a very different one, very polite and welcoming, if you visit the hotel ask for her. I had salmon and chicken wings, everything cooked to perfection, I was not expecting this from a hotel restaurant. Try it, you will not be disappointed. 🌳🌳

Exceptionally Meets My Standards

Quality customer service, conveniently located, great amenities, clean, comfortable, and safe are just some of the words to describe this hotel. The beds are super comfortable and the room decor has a cozy ambiance. The quality of guests(business class) staying here, says much about the hotel in my opinion. There's a full breakfast offered every morning and the hotel's restaurant has a great menu and bar. Safety and cleanliness are major priorities for me, and this DoubleTree goes above my expectations for both. I definitely recommend staying here if you're ever in this vicinity of VA.

Excellent customer service ! The guest room, clean and comfortable bed. The landscaping and grounds is very well maintained. Front desk personnel knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Interior design of lobby is elegant and spacious. Hallways to guestrooms are wide and quiet.

This is a perfectly good doubletree. The mattress and pillows were very good, as was everything else in the room. The front desk was very helpful. You have to pay for breakfast, but it is varied and good

My personal interaction with the hotel and staff was wonderful. It was for a wedding. the venue was lovely with a nice room for bridal party prep. My understanding of getting things coordinated is that it was frustrating. But the space and staff for the rehearsal dinner and wedding were lovely.

The room was very clean and the service was amazing one staff member named Brian was super nice and helpful always had a smile nice guy overall
