We are so thankful to have been referred to Tompkins PT. From the moment my daughter and I walked in we felt welcomed and comforted. My daughter has worked with Jen and Amy the last 2 weeks and is making great strides in her ACL/ meniscus post op recovery. I had shoulder surgery back in October to remove a bone spur and tissue from "adhesive capsulitis"...a/k/a the dreaded "frozen shoulder." Sheryl was highly recommended by my surgeon.

Sheryl helped me recover from the surgery through stretches and exercises to regain my range of motion. Most importantly, she explained why each exercise was important and how each would help in my rehab. Eight weeks after surgery, my surgeon advised that I was four weeks ahead of schedule, releasing me completely and advising that I should continue PT at home to continue gaining strength. As of this writing, Christmas Eve, I am still working out at home, doing the exercises that Sheryl prescribed. Tompkins OPTS is the best...two thumbs up! Thanks, Sheryl.

I needed physical therapy after a bad fall on ice this winter and Tompkins Physical Therapy was highly recommended by several people. I ended up having arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus along with a cracked patella and problems with arthritis. TOPT has very extended hours, so it was really easy to make physical therapy a priority. I worked with Jen and can not praise her ability, knowledge or wide range of treatment methods enough. I’m beyond happy with my results, in less than a month I’m back to a normal life, pain free and feeling GREAT!

I have needed PT multiple times over the years for a complex knee injury and I always go to Tompkins. The staff are professional and caring. Now I use the Medical Gym to keep my knee in working order. It’s not crowded and a very pleasant place to get some exercise.

Both my husband and I have benefited from the excellent health services and friendly, supportive atmosphere at Tompkins Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Over the past 3 years we have been helped with hip, shoulder, knee, and back problems, and thanks to these wonderful folks we are still rolling along! I couldn't recommend them more highly! I have struggled for 20 years with back pain and disc issues and tried different doctors, PT, and Chiro options to manage each episode of pain. This time around, in addition to a new ortho doc, I visited Tompkins PT in Leesburg and it was an outstanding experience!! I felt so much better after just 2 weeks of therapy and well enough even to continue working out after I was released from therapy after 5 weeks. Jennifer Lausten, is a caring, knowledgeable, and creative therapist that listens to her patients. She designed a therapeutic program that really worked for me around what I like (they have Pilates equipment available she incorporated in my exercise program!) and my schedule. Besides being an outstanding therapist and highly professional, Jennifer is very personable and easy to relate to. I just had the first of six LASER treatments on my foot after a joint replacement surgery in August. Sheryl has been trying to lessen the pain and inflammation since the surgery with message and exercises, which has been very helpful. But today's treatment immediately got rid of some pain on flexion of my big toe--amazing! Maybe we can get a lot more range of motion back with the LASER treatments. We will see! Everyone at TOPS is fantastic. I highly recommend them for shoulder, neck, knee and now foot physical therapy!!

I needed back surgery. Tompkins provided exactly what I needed before and after the surgery. Some years ago I had frozen shoulder and was given expert treatment to relieve the condition. There was no question about going anywhere else. I highly recommend Tompkins to anyone needing physical therapy. The staff is the best!

The staff is not only competent and skilled at what they do, but they are also fun! And when you add fun into the healing experience, I believe it's all the more effective. I have also enjoyed continuing to use the gym as I work to maintain good health.

I absolutely love coming to pt here. Normally I try everything to get out of pt or just stop going. But they make it fun. And work at the same time. I am always laughing because they joke around no boring routine. They have great personalities. This is not a pt I am going to try to get out of, or just stop going.

I’ve had to take PT several times over the past few years for a series of unrelated ailments. There hasn’t been one time that the super ladies here didn’t correct the issue. ,.. not that they’re lucky enough to be rid of me. If another ailment comes along I’m headed straight back to their caring treatment. It’s not their fault that this “old machine” needs tune ups; they keep me running and that’s an A+ in my book!

Actually looked forward to my PT appointments post knee surgery thanks to Amy and her joyous demeanor. PT is not anyone’s idea of a fun time but I enjoyed it and my knee is better than ever. Great place

Wonderful Physical therapy facility with knowledgeable and caring staff. I have undergone multiple PT sessions here from 2018 - 2021, and I have always been 100% satisfied with the outcome.

True Professionals,always friendly. Always in sync with the patient's needs toward healing properly by setting realistic goals and expectations.
