Great fun for children of all ages. Food and drink on site. The best food and drink in town. Josh at the concession stand is very helpful. The lifeguards are very responsible. Friendly families every where!

Good place to have outside activities such as picnics, hiking, I would consider even to take wedding pictures at the little Kiosk. Would come back here as many times as I could to have a relaxing afternoon with friends, nice drive too if you like short road-trips

One of the best parks in Loudoun. It’s now much easier to get to from points east with the various construction and engineering projects they’ve done along Route 7 and such. Located just a bit outside of Purcellville, the park offers trails, fishing, an excellent disc golf course that’s around 2 miles walking, several other sporting areas like the tennis/pickle ball courts, hockey rink, pool, baseball/softball fields, soccer/lacrosse fields, and horseshoes, several pavilions throughout, equestrian paths, and the Franklin Park Arts Center, which was home to the first East Coast Bob Ross art exhibit/display. One can spend a few hours or a day here with the various activities. One should note that the sun can be pretty brutal during the summer, and the wind really comes through there like the prairie, which might be alright in the summer, it’s like a Midwestern winter come change of seasons. I really wish Northern Virginia had more parks like this, and would really recommend visiting.

love this park. we fish here alot. It has a great fishing pond. there are alot of ball fields. The disk golf course always has people on it. I like they have an off leash area for dogs. It would be nice if they had concessions or a convenience store on premise, but 7-11 isn't too far away. The Don's John is relatively clean and stocked. And the park is clean and well maintained.

Great park for dogs. There is no enclosed dog area but they have trails and open fields to run them on my 50 foot leash. There is also a pond. For sporty type people there are soccer fields tennis courts and a hockey rink horse trails a water park and a playground for the little ones. Surprisingly they have no place for skateboarding. I live in Montana and every town in Montana has a skate park for the kids. We value getting the youngsters outdoors and active. I don't get the everything but a place for skateboarders.

Great park! Disc golf, hockey, trails, tennis, volleyball, basketball (hard to find. Not a court, just a hoop in parking lot) playground with a bathroom! Fields for football & soccer, pics for fishing.

Very well kept park with a beautiful lake for fishing, frisbee golf, volleyball court and walking trails.
There is also a big swimming pool complex however it is closed now because of COVID-19 restrictions.

Nice park. We come here for the 4th of July celebration. Very nice. Lots for the kids to do, DJ, live music, and a great fireworks display.

Very much enjoyed the Disc Golf. Not sure about the construction area that was marked off as no trespassing. Seemed it was very difficult to get to the fairway in that area. The could have done a better planning or at least explain how to go around it. The lawn groomers were very respectful with us playing through.

This lovely park now features a new cross-country 5K course that is both challenging and beautiful.

If I could give this beautiful place 10 stars, I would. This park has multiple sports courts that other parks don't have, which is why it is so unique. This park has tennis courts, inline hockey rink, large parking lot, Frisbee golf, a waterpark, and acres of mowed fields to do anything you want in. It's always clean without any trash and everybody is friendly. Great place to have a family picnic in, or start your fitness career!

I played on the disc golf course, it's a nice setup! It's also a great way to see the back areas of the park that I didn't even know existed. There's a pond for catch and release fishing, a pool (which as of my visit in June 2020 is open), an arts center, equestrian paths, soccer fields, batting cages, playground, plenty of parking spaces. This place is a great way to spend an afternoon!

Great place to take the family for a nice in town getaway. The pool is very fun and a decent size. Outdoor hockey rink is well maintained and a great place to teach little ones the basics of the sport. Off leash dog park available as well as many trails to walk them on. Baseball fields and soccer fields which can be used any time of day is awesome. Don't miss out on their amazing 4th of July fireworks show always a great one!!

Just attended a barbecue with the Tree of Life's Daybreak Group for seniors at the Hillsboro Pavilion. They actually had park employees with golf carts, to take people up the hill to the restrooms! We always love being at the park. It is beautiful, spacious, clean, and restful. Sometimes, we get Thai food and just go to the gazebo by the fishing pond for a picnic. We are SO blessed to have a park like this in Western Loudoun!

Love to come here with the kiddos and enjoy catching bugs around the pond .
