Pioneer Park

The ambiance will bring you back to a wonderful childhood. Between the homeless grilling up a can of food with a makeshift fire to the wonderful chatter of the locals in the background. You will not regret your visit here. They do not allow gambling unfortunately.

This park is nice and I go with my dog all the time. Is quiet and has a nice path to walk. During the night is good too! I fly my drone here too.

I went on my second date with my boyfriend here, it was amazing. There is a nice tennis court there which we were supposed to use but we didn’t end up using that particular day, maybe soon. I love the view of the sunset from here and it’s really big and spacious to walk around also.

Came here for an event by BSO. The park looked well maintained and lots of room to run around. My kids and I had a great time and plan to visit the playground again soon.

Pioneer park is a safe and fun local park. The park is directly across from the broward police Dept. Nice boat ramp and very clean. Watch out for the iguanas. They are fast and large.

Great park. Tennis, field, boat ramp. Paid parking for vehicles/trailer parking. Intercostal and outlet access. There is also a small jungle gym for the young ones. Be respectful and leave no trace of yourself.

Very nice park with 2 baseball/softball fields, several tennis courts, and a playground for the kids. Not pet friendly but this is a very nice park to walk with your significant other or just get some fresh air. There are a good number of stray cats because people put out food and water for them but the cats dont bother anyone so its not a problem. Very popular and convenient boat ramp for access to the intracoastal waterways. Also has a boat dock for fishing.

Great park especially for kids with special needs because it is fenced with gates for entrances. The only downside is it is near a boat ramp area to the river that is a direct access to Everglades and the Intercoastal. The park was clean. It has a toddler park fenced that connects to an older kid's park. The area is not shaded, rubber surface so no sand or chips. It has bathrooms next door to parking circle and ramp. Good place to bike with kiddos.

The boat ramp is currently closed and under construction, city website states construction will take 5 weeks, but the park and amenities are open. Can still enjoy time with family, very relaxing and plenty of parking.

Great park, great location. Was there for the Art in the Park Festival. Excellent music, food carts, drinks, art on display, painting tent set up for kids, while getting instruction from local artists. Community service tents. Plenty of open space. Very nice event!

This place is great! My kids enjoyed running around on the swings, slides, and monkey bars. The bathroom is not that bad but could use maintenance. They also went on the baseball fields that look great now. If anyone calls this place bad they are certainly wrong!

Pioneer Park is great for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of life. We park on the west side of the park and sit at a bench and enjoy the calm environment of the area. Watch the boats go by while enjoying a cold drink or a sandwich. Usually a ball game on the field and restrooms a couple hundred feet away are clean. I've only ever met nice people.

This is a great place to dock your boat especially if you are going fishing or to Boca lake. Pay by the hour so the cheapest spot near by if only going out for a few hours. Decent parking spots, 2 ramps, 2 spots for a hose, although one usually doesn't work, and a large dock. Usually not that busy either.

I lived right across the street from this park growing up it's definitely changed from the 80s. Still a great place to take your kids or your boat. Very low-key and chill

Never had a problem at this park. Easy in and out with 3 launches. Other boaters are friendly and parking is patrolled by county police. Pay for hourly parking and be on your way.

Great boat ramp! Excellent area to fish off the huge docks. Only $1 per hour to park boat trailer. Free parking for cars.
