Every time I have been to this Post office, the people are very nice. The problem I have with this Post office is they do not answer the phone. Also, our location has not received or had pick up mail from our location in over two days. Who do we talk to about this? With know one answering their phones, how do we get answers?

Very dissatisfied with mail delivery at the Orange VA post office location. Our mail has been undelivered and mis-delivered on Several occasions. It is too much of a coincidence and high incidence to be mistakes. We have had important and sensitive letters and mail not be delivered to us. We have gone to the post office to speak with a supervisor or someone in charge to no avail. We are told no supervisor is available and is out “delivering mail”. Our neighbors have been kind enough to return our mail wrongfully delivered to their address while inquiring if we have also received any of theirs as they are also missing pieces of mail. This issue with the carrier needs to be addressed immediately. This location and mail carrier is a disgrace to the United States Postal Service.

9/10/21 at 3pm I was shamed by the postmaster and the clerk for bringing a box of donor “thank you” packages to be shipped. I’ve done this before without incident. The two of them took pleasure in mocking me. The clerk announced to everyone in line that it would take an hour to process my packages. That resulted in two people in line yelling at me for using the post office. Many more people waited patiently. But the two who yelled were a spectacle. I asked the clerk if there was a better way for a business to ship a large order. She had no answer. I asked her to stop my order to let others through. She fumbled through a money order and needed the sneering postmaster’s help. So I collected my remaining packages, thanked them, and left. I went to another county post office where they processed each remaining package for 1/4 of the cost and in less than half the time. How can we encourage businesses to come to Orange, VA with this level of disgrace and rudeness? —Dr. Dena Jennings

They keep losing my packages, sending it to the wrong address or send it back to sender and blaming me saying that I gave the wrong address to Amazon or Target and who ever else I order from and I keep getting other people’s mail constantly. I would understand if it happened once in a while but it’s 2-5 times a week. Fedex and the ups never lose my packages. I’m so furious and sick of this post office. I wish I could choose who delivered my mail and packages. They can’t even keep my packages there when I asked them to. This never happened in culpeper.

I have no issue with my regular delivery person, he's great. However, going into the branch for help is a nightmare. I was told by a supervisor that she couldn't do anything to help me with an insured international shipment that I received damaged. She said I had to file a claim online, but I showed her the USPS website that said I couldn't file a claim as the recepient and even read off to her the instructions that said to bring it in and she would process it and give me a form.

Very very poor service! Gave my package to someone I do not know mid route. Left pink slip in my box. I go to pick up my package and they don’t have it and say I signed for it. How did I sign for it while I was at work and when I have a pink slip. I get a call from them asking me to return a package that I may have gotten accidentally. I got a message/call from a complete stranger from spotsy county that they had my package and met the carrier while on route to get his package and was given mine by accident. I go to post office a second time to see how this could have happened and I’m told I signed for it and insinuated I was lying. The lady said the carrier described me to a “T” that I signed. I’m not quite sure how the lady at the post office knows what I look like as I had a mask on and a beanie hat. When I call usps they say it was signed for by someone I do not know at a time I was at work. The lady helping me identified herself as postmaster when I asked. She was very rude. I want to know how my package ended up in spotsy when I had the slip and how I could have signed. I have opened a formal complaint with usps and inspector general. I urge anyone else having issues do the same.

Worst customer service from federal employees. They throw you attitude when an error lies with them. No wonder they're being replaced digitally. Drones will soon be doing what they're doing now. Don't expect anyone to apologise when they make a mistake. Actually had the postmaster tell me to "take a break" when I pointed out that the mail carrier didn't deliver the mail.

Make excuses on why they can't make a simple package delivery. No one to answer the phone when u call whoever is the poster master is. They very rude inconsiderate disrespectful. U shouldn't be in that position if u can't do ur job.

Your mail carrier just destroyed my mail box. Look for a envelope marked postmaster personal! You will be receiving a bill for damages, that have caused me to replace my mailbox! I have evidence and photos of the damage that was caused by your postal carrier! You will be hearing from me very soon!

Ashland Amazon sent my packages to this post office but I live in Greene county. Been trying to call them for 3 days and no one is picking up. Of course you can’t access my front porch it is freaking 30 minutes away in a separate county that you don’t deliver to! Answer your damn phones!

I clearly live in my house and they've been sending mail and packages back to the sender as the dwelling is "vacant"... sat on hold for 82 minutes after being told my wait time to answer was 31 minutes... at least now I know why I recieve absolutely NO mail...

Never get important mail. Sixth time. Horrible. And no answers ever! Just yeah, we'll look. More issues with others mail in my mailbox that would take too long to even get into.
