Statesboro Children's Dental Center: John L Wasdin, DMD

My oldest son has seeing Dr. Wasdin for year now. He would say it's his most favorite place in the whole world. The staff and Dr. Wasdin are awesome. Now our almost 2 yr old son went for his 1st visit. Needless to say that is something new to him, but Dr. Wasdin and the staff were great at handling it and both my sons had a great experience.

We love Dr. John and his staff. EXCELLENT service and the children love them. They take the time to make sure each child is comfortable with whomever is working with them. Dr. John and his wife Laura are so kind and loving also. Very through and you know that your child or Grandchild/Grandchildren have the best care available. I highly recommend!!! ❤❤

I've been taking my two children to Dr. John for about four years & I can honestly say he & his entire staff are phenomenal. Fast, friendly, family oriented, very clean & updated facilities. My oldest child (on the spectrum) had trauma from a previous dentist. He may not look forward to his trips now, but he definitely doesn't mind. This entire team is five star!!!

My daughter has extreme anxiety when it comes to seeing a dentist. This was our first visit to Dr. Wasdin's office and to say that I was impressed, would be an understatement! His entire staff was kind and professional from start to finish. The hygienist as well as Dr. Wasdin, were incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable and professional. My daughter was very fearful and when she began to cry, they found a way to make her laugh and ease her fears. We will absolutely return and I would highly recommend Dr. Wasdin to anyone with children!!

Since my original review, a year ago, we have been back, with our daughter to Dr. Wasdin's practice several times for routine cleanings as well as dental surgery. Each and Every time we have taken our daughter there, they have treated her with the utmost level of professionalism, kindness and care. Our little girl went from having Extreme fear and anxiety when it came to going to the dentist, to having no fear and actually looking forward to it! I can not say enough good things about Dr. Wasdin and his staff! They truly are top notch and amazing at what they do!!! From the bottom of this Momma's heart, Thank You!!!!

We love Dr. Wasdin and his entire staff! Everyone is very polite and knowledgeable and will answer any question you have. They are very patient with the children and the office is set up in suck a cool fashion that my child loves to visit the dentist, plus we rarely have to wait! Great place, my kids love it!

Always the best experience with this office. From the front desk all the way back they are the best. l always feel very comfortable letting my kids go back without me. Dr Wasdin takes up time with his patients and always available for any questions or concerns. My kids love going to the dentist.

Dr. Wasdin and his staff are amazingly nice and accommodating. On our most recent visit I accidentally got the time messed up and showed up two hours early. They didn't make a fuss about it and we were still able to get my son seen without much wait. Their waiting room is bright and happy. It's filled with game systems and toys for the children. Definitely a welcoming place and my child can't wait to go inside every visit.

We love Dr. Wasdin and his staff! My 4 kids love going and they have been very patient and kind with our youngest, helping her overcome her fears. She had her first fillings done recently and she had the best experience, thanks to their care.

We had a great visit. Loved the toys in the waiting area. I think it allowed her to feel comfortable with her surroundings before going back. Everyone was very friendly. Dr. Wasdin was great in dealing my daughter. I wasn't too sure how the visit would go (didn't think she would let anyone touch her). Of course she fussed but he was great with her. Carmen was great in distracting/entertaining my daughter while we talked with Dr. Wasdin. Overall great experience.

My son is 13 and has been seen by Dr. Wasdin since his first dentist appointment when he was tiny. The staff is always so friendly and patient and Dr. Wasdin is great! My son has always been comfortable with going to the dentist here. The building is very nice and clean and is in a convenient location. When my son was small he loved the little video game corner in the waiting room and he always looked forward to being able to get a prize at the end of his appointment from the bubble gum machine and it’s so cute because at 13, he still gets a little bouncy ball at the end of his appointment. I highly recommend this dental center.

Dr. Wasdin and his staff are excellent! Not only are they all welcoming, but they are so knowledgeable and provide you with the best answers without having to ask questions! My little girl is very shy and reserved around adults she's not familiar with and by the end of her first visit, she was in the chair all by herself. We have been super pleased with this practice and highly recommend him to take care of your little ones!

Dr. Wasdin & his staff are really appreciated by our entire family. From informing us to
just having a general conversation, he is so well respected . Thank u for an special experience for children.

Dr. Wasdin is always so wonderful with both of my children. My kids have been seeing him for probably 3 years, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The entire staff always go above and beyond! My children personally love the games in the waiting room (although we never have to wait long at all) and the bouncy balls they get at the end of their cleanings.

We love Dr Wasdin and his staff! Everyone is so caring and friendly. My Daughter has now been seeing Dr Wasdin for 9 years and we couldn't be happier with the service we are provided when we visit. You wont regret making the choice of choosing this office over all the others.

Yesterday was my daughters first apt here. (first time going to a dentist also). She was nervous going in but as soon as she saw the waiting room and how sweet the girls up front were she was at ease. Mrs. Wendy and Dr. John went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable while she was getting her teeth cleaned. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist!!!! They are awesome!!!

Dr. Wasdin and his staff are the absolute BEST! Kind, loving, thoughtful, and patient as well as firm with expectations. All 3 of my children LOVE going to the dentist even for fillings. That is a miracle!

Dr. Wasdin and his staff are very welcoming, patient, and efficient. This office is ran very well. They make a trip to the dentist fun for my daughter...really! Dr. Wasdin is an excellent dentist and is great with children. He has a calm nature, a steady hand, and wonderful assistants. I highly recommend him.

Such a sweet family at Dr. John’s office! Everyone makes you feel so welcome. I had to keep changing our appts several times one day due to some complications with my family’s schedules and they were so kind and patient with me. Dr. John and his staff treat their patients with care and compassion. Very thankful my children have such great experiences and are always excited to go see the dentist!

Dr. Wasdin has been taking care of my children's teeth for the past 16 years. He is personable, kind, and patient. He is a wonderful dentist and very meticulous. I highly recommend him and his staff!

I highly recommend Dr. Wasdin for any child. He is passionate and patient. My kids genuinely want to go to the dentist, where as before they were scared. We love the staff as well and of course the shark toys! You will really enjoy your experience.
