Food Lion

If you are looking for a variety of good fresh meat, this is the store. They offer a pick 5 for $25 for a meat package. When it comes to meats, to me they have the cheapest prices than other stores. Now, when it comes to other food items, I go to Walmart, bc they prices are a little cheaper as far as cangoods, etc. When it comes to their produce, it always fresh. Their Deli food is very good. I haven't seen one person complain yet about it; so if you're looking for some good lunch food, I will suggest their deli, which they do switch the menu daily. Last but not least, their employees are always friendly and quick to offer help if you look like you are looking for something.

Nice selections and varieties of items, plus very nice people work here! Money order fees are cheaper here than most other places. Great job! 5-Star Review!

Prices are usually pretty good considering how high everything is getting these days. Big store with plenty of room, not overcrowded like the smaller Food Lion stores. I love that they have plenty of self checkouts, so no lines ever(I've never stood in line at this location)! Friendly employees that are always helpful.

I visit this grocery store every time I visit Statesboro to visit family. The employees are amiable.

Great deals on certain things such as steak, meats crabs and sodas . Just look for their deals on website u save alot money. Some thing u got buy elsewhere

This is my go-to place for all of my groceries. Prices are pretty good and they usually have what you need. The recent renovations have made the interior much nicer as well.

Purchased macadamia nuts the other day, brought them home and popped some in my mouth, and they were terrible - very bitter. Of course that was a splurge for my health (they are CRAZY expensive right now!) but I really wanted them so this was obviously disappointing. I sent a message relaying my feelings to the company not really expecting to hear anything back (as is customary these days), but I got the nicest call from the Manager (Keith Massey) saying he walked back and opened a package, popped some macadamias in his mouth, and was not impressed! Said he cleared all the product from the shelf, and said to please come in to get a refund :)

Had to go to Food Lion because Walmart cancelled my order. I definitely wasn't disappointed! It was great! The associates were so friendly and helpful, and the prices were competitive! Probably just found me a new grocery store!

Good place for truck drivers friendly staff. Big parking lot few restaurants around. Manager nice man offer me to unhook trailer if I need drive to better restaurants

I work here.😁 I now oversee the deli area instead of cashiering. I have enjoyed the challenge this Job offers and hopefully everyone is satisfied with my efforts. We offer plenty of specialty cheeses salads and spreads. Try something new every once in a while you might be surprised

Had to pick up a birthday cake at the last minute (10:00pm). Wide selection of ice cream cakes. Store was very clean. Staff was very friendly

Great place for a quick trip or a Special item

Recently moved to Pembroke and discovered Food Lion is the only major grocery store in town. I am well acquainted with them having shops stores in White bluff and Port Wentworth. This particular store may be small, but the staff and management without exception are amazing. I visit the store at least five or six times a week and it doesn't matter when I visit no one is standing around idle. Everything is always exactly in its place, cleanliness in every department is on point. The Frontline staff is so caring and courteous I recently had surgery and they take extra care to bag my groceries so that it's easy for me Miss Abby always looks out for me when I come into the store, also miss Eve and the managers on duty are absolutely the best. Is Pembroke an old-fashioned town? Yes it is can you expect old-fashioned customer service at this food Lion absolutely consistently and perfectly.

Way better selection here than at the Food Lion in Metter. I can't name another grocery store better than this one in Bulloch county. Staff is usually helpful and competent, though I normally use self checkout. But hey, kudos for the machines actually working.

Stopped in this morning and the manager came over to make sure everything was good at self checkout..asked how I was doing, wished me good luck in school and thanked me for business. Made my day!
