Walmart Neighborhood Market

Surprisingly a super pleasant shopping experience, it’s very rate I can say that about Walmart. But this location is clean, organized and the people are actually friendly!

This review is in favour of an employee, Nick. Nick is a young man working at the neighbourhood store. I observed him time andctime again going over and above for customers. He carris out this act of kindness on a consistent basis, with a smile to match. Thanks Nick for all tou do.

Excellent service. Worker was not only able help but went to the back an got the meat we wanted. Thanks. Not to often that would happen these days

I want to give a big shout out to Christian G ( I hope that’s his name) every time I come to the neighborhood market, this young man has no problem dropping everything he is doing to help me. His customer service is incredible. Sometimes I’ll go out of my way to come here just because of the atmosphere he helped create for me. The other associates are fairly plain and never look up from what they are doing. They can learn a thing or two from him about customer loyalty and retention. Being an operations manager in my own field, I would encourage management to keep their eye on this young man for the possibility of future growth! He’ll be an incredible asset to some company one day. I encourage you to utilize him while you have him!

STAFF IS MORE FRIENDLY THAN LARGER WALLY!!! Always seem to have plenty of staff unlike the larger Walmart (I’ve always heard from larger walmart employees that they tend to be understaffed which makes their job’s difficult and frustrating which tends to be the result of unfriendly staff) Store is convenient when you don’t need to go to the larger Walmart, USUALLY have everything stocked well, newer building, everything is clean and tidy, pharmacy has a drive thru and plenty of staff, lines get long ofc but seem to move more quickly than the larger Walmart, restrooms are clean, a few restaurants, fast food and stores surround the store which is convenient as well, parking lot is always packed but because ppl can quickly get in and out of the store spaces become available quickly, carts are rounded up frequently, 4/5 different ways to enter the parking lot making traffic flow move quickly, online hours are posted EXCEPT pharmacy.

It's Wal-Mart prices with Publix customer service - the best spot for groceries in Statesboro.

Shout out to Kenya for going above and beyond to help me with my shopping needs.

Very kind people today, it was really busy and the shelves looked stocked, But it was empty in the pre made salad section and assorted grapes in produce.. I did find a smaller size of assorted pre made salads back in the area of fresh baked bread

Ran in to get a few things and found everything on my list plus a few new items to try. Parking is always good, and I gased up my car at their pump. It's a friendly place that I enjoy going to.

My wife and I go to this Walmart when we're in a rush. Plus they almost NEVER run out of Good n Fun kabob and rib dog treats- favorites of our Chihuahua. Same great prices, smaller store and faster checkout!

I was looking for Ezekiel bread and ask two young associates for assistance. Both were absolutely delightful. It is always a pleasure to see true and friendly customer service vice someone who seems to be bothered when asked for help. I wish I had read their name tags in order to mention them here. Thank you ladies! I appreciated you!

Why are the reusable and coldproof bags after the register? Why would you pay for your food (which are most likely already in plastic bags), almost head out the door and then decide yeah, it'd be a good idea to turn around and wait in line again - if y'all want to increase sales on these cold bags and reusable bags move them a bit past the decompression zone. I've thought about buying a few bags but I'm not going to turn all the way around and take out my wallet again. Other than that this store is perfect on my commute. Keep up the good work.

Had to run out after 10pm to put gas in both of my vehicles, and do some grocery shopping. The young man pulling in the shopping carts, was EXTREMELY HELPFUL!! He offered to help me with my groceries, and placed all 5 cases of water into my truck. THAT'S FANATICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! AWESOME YOUNG MAN!! KUDOS!!

Nice store and well-managed, so far. Location is outstanding for college students and parking is abundant and easy. Seems to be well received. Smart move by Walmart to place this new-concept store near Georgia Southern University.

We coin this the small mart. It is a busy grocery and they offer organic s . Sections for speciality foods, gluten free options on shelf and freezer section. Nice pharmacy with drive through. Well stocked make up to med supplies and seasonal goods. Preferred store instead of the chaos of the large one. Better food options .

It's a good place to buy groceries at. They have great prices on the things u need. Also their Pharmacy is always friendly and quick. Overall I had an awesome experience there and will be going back.

UPDATE: This store added more self checkout registers and honestly has pretty friendly staff.

This store has grown and done well over the last year or two. Not sure how numbers look but I'm sure customers are happier. 🙂

If you don't feel like going ALL the way to the Supermarket Walmart as a skate/long boarder, cyclist, or walker, this is your next best bet. It pretty much has most of what you need for food, and it has a smaller feel and feels a bit more down to earth with more yellow colors than white colors when it comes to it's aesthetical looks when it comes to the environment.

What a great place. Carries enough to have what you need without all the other fluff that just gets in the way and makes the store too big. You can get in and out quickly without having to fight your way through the whole 1,000,000 square feet of the big box. Now, if they would just put one in Guyton or Springfield.

It is a great place to come and grab some food products. It is way less crowded than the larger walmart, though it carries primarily grocery products. You will not find toys, auto parts, household items or anything to that sort.
