Great old time restaurant. Burgers are good, staff is friendly, and the ice cream and root beer is amazing! We really enjoy this place and the atmosphere it provides. They are Family friendly. They even have a jukebox that takes quarters. Just make sure to try their root beer. You wont be disappointed.

Wilson's is our favorite stop when going to Door County. The food is amazing. Atmosphere is 1950's diner. The town is picturesque right on the bay.

Go to food. I would suggest to try a Cherry milkshake or any of the ice cream dishes! Try a Wilson's 1906 Home-Brewed root beer in a frosted mug or a Cherry Phosphate! Burgers are amazing same for the Door County Whitefish Sandwich. Everything is great you can't go wrong with this stop.

We've been coming to Wilson's for ice cream for years. This year did not disappoint! The sweet girl we had helping us made us the biggest cones we have ever seen! The kids could barely finish all of their single scoops! The raspberry lemon sorbet was absolutely delicious as well as all the other flavors we tried. The young girl helping us did so great remembering 11 scoops of varying flavors that we ordered. I like how they started using numbers to call out who was next to order. Also they had a QR code on the sign outside to scan and get your flavor choices so you were ready when your number was called!

I've gone to this establishment since I was a kid.... Some of my favorite memories are inside/out front of the restaurant. Not to mention, it's along the Green Bay lake, which is such a beautiful lake! (Especially to watch sunsets on)

I was legitimately the last order of the season for Wilson's this year. Their root beer float made me feel like I won something! Thank YOU to ALL the staff for your continuous effort to keep this amazing place the same as it was when it opened. ❤

We went to door county to enjoy a great day. We had in mind to stop at a few local restaurants. Wilson’s had the most open hours which helps a lot. The staff consists mostly of college students from all over the USA. The ice cream and root beer floats were amazing. They also have an atm since cash purchases save about 3 %.

Excellent food, service, surroundings, and treats! Yes, the table side Wall-O-Matics really do play a song of your choosing (for $0.25).

This is commonly a very busy restaurant, so bring your appetite and patience. The servers are friendly and fast.

Parking can be difficult due to the establishment being close to the water. A good option is to park a bit further and walk a few blocks. Enjoyable views!

Great quality and quantity. The workers are astute and friendly college students.

Be sure to walk up and get a ticket if you'd like takeout (there are great places to sit nearby along the lake sidewalk). They'll let you know the approximate wait time, which I've found to be accurate. I had to wait 20 minutes because it was so busy. You can be seated inside and wait for your ice cream too but I've never done that.

The ownership has changed families a few times, but the quality has been perfect every time I visited.

We LOVED Wilson's!! Such good burgers & delicious ice cream treats!! Also good popcorn! A busy weekend but the staff were so efficient & friendly. Thanks for a great experience! Also, you have to bring some quarters for the jukebox at the table - so fun!

My wife and I have been trying to come to Wilson's for 3 years and something always happens where we can't. We finally made it and weren't disappointed. They get extremely busy so be ready to wait. But they have a very easy setup when it comes to ordering. It's smooth sailing the entire process. The service was great and everyone was really nice. Wilson's is right on the water so the views while eating ice cream. Definitely a good place to stop.

Fun to get the special sundae options that are only available inside. Great throwback decor and music, and delicious ice cream too!

Was recommended to us by a friend and we weren’t sure how everything worked; inside and outside, food vs desert, sit down or order at window and the hostess was very friendly and easily explained everything and even though it was busy we got our food in 10 minutes, got to watch the sunset and get desert! The banana split was amazing and the strawberry ice cream inside was out of this world and even had real strawberries in the sundae! The cherry pie a la mode was a true fresh taste of Door County. I highly recommend this place!

I had their chili dog with a chocolate milkshake and my husband had a cheeseburger with homemade rootbeer. This was one of our favorite meals while in door county. We will definitely go back in the future.

We enjoyed the vibe in this old-fashioned ice cream parlor/restaurant. We only got some ice cream to-go, but the smell of the food was very enticing as we waited for our number to be called. They had a number system to allow entry when we visited on Memorial Day weekend. We had about a 15-minute wait to enter. They do take cards as well as cash. They just have a slight upcharge for using a card. After ordering and receiving our desserts, they have a separate counter to pay. The system seems to work well, even with some trainees learning the ropes. We ate our ice cream at the gazebo outside and watched the taffic go by. We'd love to come back and try the food sometime!

Been coming here for years. I honestly don’t care for the food much, so I recommend the ice cream and milk shakes. The Midnight Dark Chocolate is my go-to

The service is usually great! And if you show up and there is a line out the door, it is worth the wait.

My husband and I visit Door County each year and finally made it to Wilson's for icecream. If you live in Wisconsin, they serve Cedar Crest icecream, so you should be in for a treat.

Just a few things:
1. You need to get a number from the hostess before entering the building. When your number is called, you can go inside.
2. We only got icecream, but we ordered to the right. We also paid in cash, which you can do there as well. If you are using a card, you have to pay at the window behind you. It can be a little chaotic, but it was interesting.
3. The views of the water across the street are amazing!
