Absolutely amazing all around!! Anybody who comes to door county needs to eat here. Not only is the food 100% authentic and delicious, but the staff are so kind and welcoming. What a gem!

We had the pork, sauerkraut and mushroom, and cheese/potato/jalapeno pierogi's and golabki. Let's just say you will not be disappointed in any of these choices.

The pork was tender, flavorful and everything I had hoped for.

The sauerkraut and mushroom was a powerful flavor bomb (this is my favorite kind of pierogi and Prince of Pierogi had the best in my opinion).

The jalapeno potato and cheese was well balanced and delicious!

The cabbage roll was fully stuffed and absolutely a treat! The dill on top made all the difference.

Treat yourself and try everything on the menu :) we'll be back tomorrow to get some frozen pierogi!

Great experience, I only wish I had tried this place years ago! Everything was great! Tried the Potato, cheddar, and jalapeño as well as pulled pork. Got the banana and Nutella for dessert! 5 stars

This is a little outdoor place. Amazingly personable and personal service. The pierogis are amazing, honestly nothing short of polish grandma perfect. If you've never had one, this is the place to try. The daily special flavors are delicious too. We had the bacon mac and cheese, and the jalapeno cheddar ,(a long with the potato and cheese classics). All of them were lights out.

Short wait, hidden gem. Hit this up.

By far the best Pierogi I've ever had! Their stuffed cabbage roll had excellent flavor with some good spice, too. We tried 3 different flavors of the Pierogi. My favorite flavor was the pulled pork Pierogi. The spinach and feta with sour cream on top had a really good complex flavor, too. This place is definitely worth trying! It's off the main road. We almost missed the parking lot!

A unique and savory comfort food well worth the stop when you're in Door Co. Delicious and made-to-order. Having a decent menu with drinks, wine and beer also means there's probably something for everyone. Even the kiddos. You can't go wrong with a pierogi for lunch, dinner or snack! I highly recommend.

Small little place owned by a friendly Polish man. He was so hospitable. He told us the story of how he and his parents came to America. Priceless!! Absolutely delicious food! I even tried a Polish beer for the first time, and it was great! Next time we're in Door County, we WILL be back.

Stopped at Prince of Pierogi today to try something new.
It is located off of 42 and German Rd in Ephraim.
The owner was so friendly and a delight to talk to.
And the food was DELIECIOUS!

Give it a try next time you are in the county.

I wish they had a better sign on the main road for people to see this place! Owners were awesome. Food was delicious. We will be back next time we are in Door County.

Mark was a great guide for what to order! Super attentive. Pierogis were the best I’be ever had. Melt in your mouth! Highly recommend the potato and jalapeño followed by blueberry 😋

I live in NOLA and we are all about flavorful food there - this is up to snuff 🔥

A must stop for a quick bite!
Lovely pierogi - great staff. We also heard that they do at home delivery in the off season. Follow them on social media to schedule your delivery!
I can’t wait 🤤

Our first time here and it will not be our last! So delicious! Better than I could have expected. Loaded with love and flavor. My new favorite food = pierogi. Plus unique, tasty beer! Kielbasa was the best I’ve ever had as well. Cant wait to come back. Might even revisit later today. A true DC gem!

Authentic pierogi place right in door county! The sweet cheese pierogi’s were our favorite and the kids loved the banana and Nutella option. Great option for kids and families with a variety of flavor options for everyone and they have beer and wine for the adults! Only thing to be aware of is there are no bathrooms and the closest one is a short walk to the beach.

Wow!!! The best polish food I have ever had. A small hidden spot you are sure not to miss! We shared the platter with pierogis, sausage, a cabbage roll and Hunter’s stew. It was over the top delicious! Wonderful people, too!!

I had the Polish Platter. It was amazing. Forget about all those fancy places where you pay a lot of money for mediocre food because it's the place to be seen and go here for great food at a good price.

We found this place driving through Ephraim because of a small sign on the side of the road that said “Pierogis ->” As pierogi lovers ourselves, we had to stop. From the moment we arrived the owner was super friendly and sociable. We got 4 different types of pierogis; including a Nutella banana one, and they were amazing. We ended up coming back a second time during the week with our friends because we loved it so much. This was probably our favorite food of the whole trip and we will be coming back every time we go to door county. Also, they deliver pierogis throughout Wisconsin in the winter which is a welcomed surprise! Definitely recommend this place! 10/10

By far one of the cutest and best stops on our extended weekend. My fiancé and I stopped for a snack. I was worried when she wanted 9 as a snack, but we polished these off so quick. The seasoning was perfect, and with a little sour cream they were gone in a couple minutes. We definitely would have ordered more if we didn’t have dinner reservations. The owners were so nice and friendly. We highly recommend this to anyone and will definitely be back!

This place is a super cute walk up restaurant, with actual Polish cooks making the pierogis. They were made quickly and tasted phenomenal. We tried the pork ones, which were good, and then their pierogis of the day (bacon Mac n cheese, spinach and feta—which we loved, and the blueberries and cream cheese). So so good, and now I want to come back here every time we visit Door County. Bonus: they have a water dish for dogs, so bring your pup!

Best pierogis I've ever had. My favorite savory was the feta and cheese. My favorite sweet was the banana Nutella, but they were all amazing. The service was amazing and everyone was so nice. I do suggest you eat in the car as the bees are everywhere.

Wow!! What an amazing find on our camping trip to Wisconsin! Definitely didn’t expect to have authentic pierogis on the peninsula of Wisconsin but here they are! Chris was absolutely wonderful and very friendly. The food was delicious. Our favorite was of course the classic cheese & potato. The spinach one was the savory option of the day which was also amazing. All were wonderful to eat including the pork and sauerkraut/mushroom. Really glad we stopped here. The ambience was great and everyone had great conversations with the owner. Very friendly, cozy place. Definitely would return!!

Update: back for the second year in a row, and it’s still as amazing as the first time! If you’re up in door county you MUST stop here.

Original post: My fiancée and I visit door county from Chicago every year and this is our first time trying Prince of Pierogi. This place is phenomenal to say the very least. The chef, Chris, is from Poland and makes the best polish food we’ve ever had, truly.

Get the platter so you can get a little bit of everything, but you really can’t go wrong with anything! We will definitely be back!
