Great place for gathering with friends! Mark was our server and not only was he very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, his happy demeanor and personality was definitely 5 stars!
From the beginning of our dinner until we left, everything was OUTSTANDING!

The food at Alexander's is amazing!! My husband and I were there this past week and enjoyed seafood dinners that were PERFECTION!! My husband had a seafood combination with a cream sauce and I had the scallop dinner. Both were amazing!! The server was excellent!! She made a recommendation for a wine my husband had never tried and it tasted delicious with his meal. We ended our meal with a delicious piece of key lime pie. Call ahead for reservations because this is a busy place!!!

Excellent experience! This was my 2nd time visiting Alexander’s and it was just as good as the 1st time. Be sure to have a reservation though, it’s always busy (for good reason). The atmosphere, drinks, food, and dessert were wonderful. My husband and I’s ribeye and New York strip were cooked perfectly. We cannot recommend Alexander’s enough!

A friend and I dined here to celebrate our birthdays. We both had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. It was plated beautifully, and the sides were delicious. We had the creme brulee for dessert which was divine. We were seated by a window and had a view of the fall leaves. Just a really perfect experience. Our server was excellent, attentive and sweet. I can honestly recommend this place. Stop in for some great food!

Best food in door county! Bruce does an amazing job! Old fashions are good, sea bass was great, scallops were some of the best I’ve had! Lobster bisque was so so. Mark is hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had, always request Mark, he will blow your mind.

With Easter traffic, my group had made reservations, and thankfully the hosts could fit two additional last-minute guests (don't try to do this). We were seated promptly and without any issues. We all were exceptionally pleased with the service and quality of the fare. From the salad bar, breakfast bar, and dessert tables. Scrumptious and flavorful are two words to illustrate how the brunch tasted! Delighted with the service, from prompt refills, dish removal, and bill/check delivery. Everyone was professional, and no mishaps or lack of assistance was observed. We will return here in the future to try other days, breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

A good fine dining place. Atmospheric, good selection of food and wines for the area. Depending on choices, expect $50+ per person. The food is worth it though. Stuffed mushrooms and white fish were the best to my taste. Service was excellent. Reservation is recommended on the weekend. We came around 5.30 on Sunday and the place was crowded when we left at 7.

Very clean, very open, very easy to get to the bar or find a hightop table to wait for your seating with drinks. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The food:
Fried perch - this must be what everyone expects from a perch fish fry! I've never had this fresh, hot, lighty yet crunchy breading (withOUT bring saturated in oil), tender, firm (NOT rubbery) fish. This is the only place that cooks it perfectly! It had less grease than the other dishes. Yum.

Broiled Walleye -very good! Soft, tender, well seasoned, well cooked, and warm. Only downside: covered in butter so oily at times. However, better seasoned than the perch.

Seafood Vol au vent - a hefty serving of seafood surrounded by a moat of buttery lobster bisque soup. Downside: Sauce overpowered the delicate seafood. Upside: Big portions for price and sticks to your ribs. Considering the amount of seafood, pastry, and sauce, this dish was expertly cooked and timed for a party of 4. All the seafood was cooked perfectly.

Broiled Whiefish - grade A broiled whitefish! Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. A little oily.

I would be happy ordering either the perch or walleye again. Really, you can't appreciate one without the other!

We are back! Staying in Door County for 1 week & so glad to be able to eat at our favorite restaurant again. Beautiful time of year to still be able to enjoy the Christmas lights. Started out with a cocktail & friendly service by Elliott. Warm French bread arrived at our table soon after being seated. We had our favorite,outstanding, Escargot as our appetizer. Decided to share the King Cut Prime Rib which was cooked medium to our liking. The mixed green Salad was perfect. Our entree came with a side of Au Graten Potatoes & mixed String Beans. Service was impeccable & friendly by our server Gabby. We are from Appleton & It is always a treat to be able to enjoy a night out at Alexanders.

Everything exceeded my expectations. The service and the food was outstanding.
The owner was our bartender and gave us a sample of their prime rib!

Exceptionally good food and service! Had the Chicken Alexander with asparagus, brie cheese, hazelnut stuffing and lingonberry sauce. Excellent waitress - Erica. Highly recommend!

Our food was fantastic. We had a nice table by the window and our server was awesome.

Everything here was top shelf, the servers flew thru the dining room with amazing speed and no water glass went dry, the baked Brie was something I've never encountered before and now I wonder why, the cherry bbq salmon was complex the salmon was tender the bbq was tangy and the cherry was sweet all three flavors were blended well yet still stood out it was something I never would've thought to make but I'm glad someone did and I was able to try it out, bottom line I would gladly go back

We had a wonderful dinner for a family of four. The staff was friendly and service was excellent from our server Mark. Kids menu was excellent with a petite filet. They brought kids out a fresh fruit appetizer which was a beautiful touch. Food was well prepared. Drinks menu and wine list was expansive especially for Wisconsin. Will visit again.

This place is outstanding. The bartenders, the server, the food- all of it is excellent. I've been going here for over 20 years, and it never disappoints! My favorites are the Bri puff pastry, the delicious crustini bread, and the warm decadent chocolate cake.

The environment is beautiful. It was a bit loud but a beautiful place with amazing service. The food was also amazing. My husband and I both had steaks and were not disappointed. It was one of the best steaks I've had in wisconsin. I would definitely recommend going by if you have a chance. You will not be disappointed.

If we could give 10 Stars, we would!! We are newlyweds and when my husband made reservations and let them know we just got married we were not expecting to be greeted like we were royalty. Not only did they put us in an area by ourselves the staff was phenomenal! Very attentive, very warm and gracious, and very polite. Right off the bat once we sat down served us Champagne on the house. We ordered a creme brulee for dessert to share that was also on the house. They absolutely made our first night out as husband and wife the most memorable ever; we cannot appreciate the staff more. The food was absolutely awesome and exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the chefs, maitre d, entire staff, and Romeo, our server!! 10 ⭐'s!! What an experience ❣

This place is incredible. From the food, to the service, to the cocktails, we could not have been more impressed. We did the Valentine's Day special which included appetizers, a salad or soup, an entrée, a drink and a dessert and felt the value was awesome. We will be back for special occasions!

Probably the most tender best tasting ribeye I've ever had. My wife had chicken sophia and she loved it. The staff was extremely welcoming and polite. Cant wait to go back!

If I could give 100 stars I would! First time ever dining at Alexander's and it was excellent from start to finish! Service was beyond amazing! Filet Mignon cooked perfectly, and the best flavor! Dessert were also fantastic! We will return! Reservations highly recommended! You won't be sorry!
