Blockers Soul Food Restaurant

I swear to goodness this food is phenomenal and the service is impeccable! I was in a hurry and asked what they had ready, they told me the pork chops were done. Less than 4 minutes later, my food was boxed up and ready to go. No, by comparison, the week prior I stopped at rib joint, and it took more than 30 minutes to get ribs that were done and in a pan.

the fried catfish with the okra and green beans is FANTASTIC! catfish is fried to the perfect golden brown crispy texture and the meat just melts in your mouth. okra is fried perfectly! the peach cobbler is wonderful !! the food is Great. will be back 😍

Jennifer and Chris were a pleasure to work with on a short notice. They both responded promptly to my inquiry via email and phone. They catered our holiday office gathering that I provided to our staff and caregivers this week. The food and the presentation where spot on. I received multiple compliments from our team about the food. We will use them again.

The Rib tips are so good I didn't even need sauce, Baked beans are good also...

Very, very good soul food. Very affordable. The Owner and Staff was very friendly and nice. This place was very clean and up-to-date. Again Very Good Down Home Soul Food. My Wife and I ordered three different meals and each one tasted good. We will return soon. It's hard to find Good Food, Good Service and Patience People these Days. I Give you guy's five 🌟

Ordered a few plates today after hearing about this food from my dad. Nice place to go especially when u want to get away from fries and burger. Food is delicious, seasoned to the tea, make ya say um um um while you eating. I'll definitely be back.

I recommend everything about Blockers. Excellent customer service from Miss Pat. Lovely environment from the music to the comfy table and chairs. Cant forget about the sweet tea. Will definitely be back next time that I am in the area for more fried chicken. Hopefully I can try something sweet like yams or a dessert next time. Keep cooking food with L.O.V.E!!

Blockers also does catering. They recently did a meal for my event. The blockers team was friendly and efficient. The food was served on time and was served steaming hot and delicious. Many of my guests were very impressed with the meal that was served. It was part of what made the night with 60 family and friends special.
And in the restaurant the pork chops!!! My favorite with okra and Mac cheese. I love this soul food restaurant!

First off the customer service was excellent food to damn good. Black owned. I loved it here this was my first time coming and from this day moving forward they can get my money. Please try it.

Hands down, they have excellent food here. Only thing i desire from any business is consistency! With that said when they first opened they had wings that were putting wingstop to shame with size and tatse.. Anyone would of paid top dollar for those.. They were delicious. Now is like they have grocery store wings in size and quality. 😝 Neckbones best i ever had but again not always available.. Riblets best I've had but again not available on Sat and Sun like they say. I look forward to having a meal then I'm let down.. Has happened countless of times. Again Blockers has SOME delicious food.. Chef knows his stuff.. But inventory needs adjustments. 😃

I was hesitant about going, due to all soul food isn’t good. My husband’s aunt owns BusyBee ( Atlanta), and I always expect soul food restaurants to be up to their standards (quality food), when we walked in, the 2 ladies at the register were very hospitable. Took our orders and food was ready in 20 minutes. When we got home... chile, let me tell you, pork chops were fresh, collards, fresh, mac n cheese, cheesy and corn bread. And lorddd she had just made some sweet tea.. it was goooodddd! Will definitely be back!

Will definately be back! Gave us alot of food for our money! $10 plate of huge tender smoke ribs, greens with pork, baked mac n cheese and a pancake cooked cornbread. Reminded me of a really good dinner cooked by your grandma.
