Great store. Great Service. Great friendly staff. Lots of classes from Staff & various outside educators. I’m 2.5 hrs away, on a ‘good travel day’ but worth it! Have purchased or upgraded 6 total machines from this store. Latest class creation pictured here!

I purchased a Bernina Q16 sit-down longarm with Horn lift table. I had a bit of a wait for it because it was on back order at the manufacturer. But I dealt with several staff members, including the manager, getting updates while waiting. Everyone was professional, communicative, helpful, understanding, and friendly. Kara was my salesperson/main contact and she is a lovely person to work with. I know they did what they could to keep me in the loop, having little control over the manufacturer’s end of things. The machine and table were much too big for us to pick up ourselves. Kenny from the warehouse and Kenny the technician delivered to our house. They called to let me know their arrival time and actually got here a little early. Nicest guys ever. They took exceptional care getting the table into the house (too large upright to fit through even wide doorways). No nicks to table, walls, etc. Kenny the tech not only installed the machine but every accessory I had. Saved me a bunch of headache I’m sure. He also gave me a tutorial on the basics so I could get started. They afforded me as much time as I needed to ask questions. I do believe their customer service is top-notch.

I visited this shop close to closing hours and Laura stayed late (until 5:30) to help me. Not only did she sell me a serger, she walked me through the basics of threading and operating it - as well as taking the time to explain the details of the manufacturer's warranty. Laura was very kind and I really appreciated her help! She definitely knows her stuff - Laura had owned the machine I was planning on buying for 20 years, so she was a great source of information and insights on Babylock sergers!

I love this store! I started going during the pandemic and didn’t even know how to sew. Kara helped me pick my first machine and it was the best! Until I got my second machine, now it’s the best! Ha! Now I go and it’s like Cheers where everyone knows my name. Thanks guys! Excellent staff who know everything, great selection of fabric (omg the fabric!), fun parties and presentations, everything you could possibly need. I’m taking my first class in November and I’m really excited. The store is a little deceptive because you think it’s just all machines, but when you look a bit closer, there’s Sew Much More! Lol

So much personalized help and attention for what seems to me to be a small purchase of $30. We had so much advice and got exactly what we needed to finish our project. I can't believe how long she helped us.

I’ve purchased supplies and even a great sewing machine from here and the sales reps have always been so attentive and helpful. When I went in for a new machine, the rep (forgot her name, sorry!) spent a long time asking about my needs, presenting carefully selected machines in several price ranges and explaining the benefits of each. I didn’t feel like she was upselling me at all like some stores do. I’m still very happy with my purchase!

Laura was fantastic and patient with me and my indecision. Once I chose my machine she has continued to help me and support me in learning about my machine. Very nice store and staff!

If I could give this shop 10 stars, I would. I went to Austin to try out different brands of sewing machines to find the perfect small machine to travel with for quilt retreats. I was looking at both new and pre-owned machines, and had a budget in mind, so not in the shop as the biggest spender. I was made to feel so welcome, and I was shown machines in my price range that had the features I was looking for. After visiting another shop or two, I decided on a machine from Sew Much More, primarily because the outstanding customer service made me want to give them my business--and they had a machine that fit my needs, too. I didn't decide on a machine until I got home--about 200 miles away. I was going to have it shipped, but in visiting with the lovely sales person realized we were from the same town, and she was visiting shortly. She delivered my machine to my doorstep! I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful this shop is. Shout out to Kara in particular, but honestly everyone was kind.

Came in here with a tailored costume that had a hole in it, and Laura saved the day. Thanks to her, and the help of a knowledgeable regular, my costume was fixed. Thank you so much!!!

I've called a few times to ask about quilting accessories and recommendations for my Babylock sewing machine, as the dealer in my area has not been very helpful. This shop's staff have been knowledgeable, helpful and forthcoming about their recommendations. I'm very pleased to work with them.

I'm a total beginner to sewing and I was looking online for sewing lessons. I came across Sew Much More. I visited their website and saw on their event calendar that they were holding a free Open Sew. I really did not know what to expect, but I thought what do I have to loose. So I checked it out.

What I learned is that an Open Sew is a time for people to bring their own machines, their own project and work on it themselves.

From the moment that I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly.

At the Open Sew, there were a number of people - some young, some old, some women, some men, people from all ethnicities and backgrounds. Each person was working on their own project - quilts, pants, shirts, dresses and even crafts.

Julie, one of the staff, welcomed me and introduced me to the sewing room and the other sewers. I shared that I was totally new and that I might just observe. However, she was so kind that she actually helped me set up my machine. Then she showed me how to do my first basic stitch.

Wow, it felt amazing. I couldn't believe that it was so easy to sew with the correct setup and instructions. I practiced for a while, made some straight stitches, some crooked stitches and some mistakes.

Then Noreen, one of the fellow sewers, showed me how to sew a corner. This blew my mind. I immediately began to think of all the things that I could sew with a straight stitch and a corner stitch.

I actually purchased my sewing machine 4 years ago for $25 off of craigslist. I had been sitting idle stored in my closet for all this time because I thought that it would take me weeks to learn to sew. But with the simple guidance of Julie and Noreen, I immediately felt confident enough that I could sew.

I highly recommend that you check out this shop, it is Sew Much More than a sewing store, it is truly a community.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful personnel. I dropped off my sewing machine for repair and servicing and will pick it up when they call me upon completion. They expect a 1 month turn-around time, because they have so many machines being serviced right now. I think that's a good thing. 👍I'll update after I pick up my machine.
The store has lots of fabric, notions and machines...Bernina, Elna, and others. Lots of notions and books.
It looks like a great place for quilters and I saw a long arm there as well.
A great place for sewers to shop!

I called them to inquire about a great machine and they were very prompt to return my call and did followup with ALL my questions. Extremely professional staff. Very helpful and take great care to be sure my needs were addressed. It's a very busy store, but the sales people gave me prompt attention. They even worked after hours on a weekend when the store was not open to meet with me because my schedule didn't work with normal business hours. Great job, Mary Kay and Cynthia, and Sew Much More!!!!

My experiences here have always been wonderful. They do often get very busy during a sale or when they have a special event going on. They are good about finding someone to help you, or making sure they haven't forgotten you. I have always found them to be helpful. And, they are always cheerful. The place has a nice feeling when you go in and watch what is going on.

Also... They always check your machine first before submitting it to the repair people to make sure it isn't something simple that you don't need to pay for. For example, when I brought my machine in to get repaired... I hadn't used that machine in over a year and everything kept getting birdnested and breaking thread. We discovered I was threading it wrong. I could have felt stupid very easily. But they didn't make me feel that way at all. I walked out of there without having to pay for a repair I didn't need AND a really good feeling about myself.

I've NEVER had a sewing machine shop ever do that before! So Sew Much More gets my five star vote for that service too!

Will return frequently!
I am new to the area and had a very pleasant experience yesterday. I was given a lovely tour of the store and then left alone to explore until I needed more assistance. Several salespersons greeted me to offer assistance should I need it. When I inquired about classes I was given a personal invitation to visit the next sewing club meeting. I felt welcome and valued as a new customer and will be back-probably purchasing a newer machine. At NO TIME did I ever feel pushed into anything. When I inquired about items they do not carry, I was given information about other businesses that might carry what I wanted! What a lovely store!

Everyone at the store was incredibly friendly and helpful. We bought a sewing machine, got home, and realized we didn't know how to use it. We went back the next day and someone was more than happy to dedicate 15 minutes to us to show us how to use it. They're awesome!

Although you may be able to find a machine cheaper on Facebook marketplace, the support you gain purchasing through Sew Much More is priceless. I’m a beginner and Kara and Julie have gone above and beyond for me to ensure I get off on a good start and I’m able to successfully use my new embroidery machine. Feel great about my decision to purchase here a few weeks ago. Thank you Kara and Julie!!

I brought my Babylock embroidery machine here for service, after my local shop closed. They were most helpful and professional with a machine that wasn't under warranty and they hadn't sold. Since I was coming from another town, they blocked out time for the tech to work solely on my machine so that I could wait for repairs & service to be completed, and return home with the machine and not have to make another trip back to the store for pickup. As it turns out, the tech worked on it all day and it still wasn't fully serviced, so I ended up having to return anyway. During the meantime, tho, Laura took the time to show me about 4 other machines, and she was knowledgeable about them all. I ended up buying a new one, and I was able to take it home that day, so it was ok that my original machine had to stay.

Subsequently, I also purchased a new cabinet (to fit the new machine) and Laura had the guys pack it up beautifully so that it made the long trip home perfectly safe and with NO scratches or damage.

As it turns out, my original machine was still giving me some trouble, so they were very agreeable about taking it back to run some more tests and diagnostics on it. They are very customer-focused and service-oriented. I feel totally at ease with them & their store policies.

Wonderful customer service. Very helpful and polite. There to answer questions if you needed something. They do have days where they are really busy, having classes, and selling machines. My friend and I both bought new machines and love them and the store. We went in the store at least 4 separate times now and never felt uncomfortable. Every salesperson was very nice to us.
