We were in the market for a specific car and through Carfax found it located at Knox Auto Sales. Their service was excellent, they weren't upfront, honest and very family oriented. They made buying a car ready and stress free. I would highly recommend anyone who is in the market for a car or truck to stop here first and see what they have to offer. Best place ever they don’t bug or pressure you, they allow you to look at as many cars as you want too. They also allow you to take the car to your mechanic before deciding if you want to purchase it. I recently just bought a car from here and will definitely be buying all future vehicles from here. They are very respectful and kind and Mr.Shelton was so very patient with me.

We went in today to trade our truck for gas efficient vehicles which they had two we were really interested in. They were very responsive we went in this afternoon, they looked over our vehicle we were able to test drive the car we wanted and made a deal. Hands down will recommend and return in the future for any buying, selling or trading needs. They are honest helpful and I absolutely love they provide a carfax for all of their vehicles. If i didnt live in wilmington, and lived here, this would be my GO TO mechanic. I was driving back from an out of town catering order and the owner of this shop was driving home from work and saw me with a flat tire. The light had just turned on, i didnt think it was flat. The Knox owner driving behind me called my store, whom called me, i pulled over. He pulled behind me and let me know he owned an auto shop. He followed me back to his shop and patched the tire for me, free of charge.

I think that shows the kind of man he is. Its hard to find an honest mechanic. If you are looking for one, look no further. You are in good hands at this shop. Seriously, good people. God Bless.

Good, honest family-owned business. Lots of nice options for under $10k. Taylor, the owner’s son was fantastic. No stressful haggling is necessary when the cars are clean, pricing is fair and customer service is top notch. I drove this beauty home and I’m pleased with how clean and well-maintained it is. (YES! It was under $10k!!!) We went to the big dealerships, only to get bait-and-switched, herded like cattle and heckled for not buying brand new. 😒 Knox Auto Sales rose above with integrity and never played any games.
