Great food, great service! Of the many Mexican restaurants in Harnett County, I'd rate this at the top for authenticity and flavor. The owner truly cares that you enjoy your meal by making suggestions and accommodating your special requests.

Our very first time here and it certainly did not disappoint!! Excellent service, one of a kind wait staff and phenomenal food!! The owner is a true gem in today’s standards of restaurants throughout the southeast. No wonder this place has been voted tops in all of Harnett County! We will return soon and tell everyone about it!!

as the highest rated restaurant in Coats, we had high expectations for service and quality of food. the server was very welcoming and allowed us to sit where we pleased. complimentary chips were served promptly after seating. the chips came out warm and delicious. the complimentary salsa was a smooth water salsa with just the right amount of heat. it was a blended salsa, not chunky. we ordered the choriqueso and a lunch shredded chicken chimichanga. the prices are average and reasonable.
the food came out piping hot within minutes. delicious. food quality was higher than expected. we decided to order a shrimp burrito and two tamales as well. they also came out very very quickly and we're just as delicious. over all expectations were exceeded and they deserve 5 stars for food quality, service and ambiance. well done

Although it's easy to look past while your driving, Zapata is a hidden gem in this small town and a must if you enjoy Hispanic food. The staff remember you, the food is great, and the atmosphere is very inviting. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite places to dine with my wife!

This is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant. I absolutely love their food, and everyone there is so wonderful. I am so glad they are close by, but even if they weren't, I would make the drive! Love this place!!

Great family owned with fantastic food and friendly service. Menu has most of my fav and many more to choose from. Wife and I enjoyed our meal and will be back. Take out service seems busy also.

Very enjoyable! Friendly wait staff, cozy atmosphere, and of course, wonderful food. Probably the best Mexican food in Harnett County; it tasted very homemade. Will definitely be coming back!

This is hands down the Best Mexican food around! It is always delicious and served hot and quickly! The owners are such nice, friendly, and welcoming people. My husband and I dine here regularly. The menu offers many traditional Mexican dishes that you won't find elsewhere. Out of this world!

I have known the owners for years. The food has always been fantastic and the service is great!!!

The mexican street tacos were awesome! They do require assembly though. Came with sides onion, cilantro, verde salsa, and a lime. I asked for a spicy sauce for my tacos and they delivered! They brought me a house sauce made with 3 peppers. For dessert I had the sopeillas. They were perfectly fried and topped with honey, strawberry, and whip cream!

The food is always delicious and the staff goes above and beyond to be sure you have everything you need. Great asset to our small town of Coats, NC.

This is our favorite place for Mexican food. My husband and I have been frequenting this restaurant for the past 2+ years. We found it when family members had moved nearby. Otherwise I am not sure we would have ever found it. Over time, we are recognized every time we visit and that is so nice to feel like you are going to a restaurant where you are always welcomed and appreciated. If you are looking for delicious Mexican food in the Coats area, you will not be disappointed. Our favorite dishes are ACP, Poblanos, fajitas, cheese dip, and Horchata.

Viva Zapata is the definition of delicious food based upon family values.
As a Mexican, it is hard to come across delicious Mexican cuisine. The waitress was very kind and was able to give suggestions of various things on the menu. I have been recommended this establishment and tried their famous Pollo Zapata. The grilled chicken dish was delicious and served with a tasty bed of rice.
The service was great, as the owners and the employees treat you like family and immerse you in the culture. This is the best restaurant I have dined in Harnett County!

Wonderful staff, great food, really good atmosphere! Their food is some of the best Mexican cuisine in eastern North Carolina.

Absolutely best Mexican cuisine I've ever eat. The staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly. If ever traveling through this area again we will definitely be stopping to eat again!!
