I have not been to the dentist in 15 years due to extreme trauma from a dentist in my childhood. Dr. Slate was recommended, and I drove 1.5 hours to see him. I felt so understood and cared for from the moment I walked in until I left. Dr. Slate and his staff listened to me and made my procedures pain-free. I had 2 extractions and a bone graft and was amazed at how kind and gentle he was. His assistant stayed with me the entire time to make sure I felt ok. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. Thank you so much for your kindness and care, The entire experience from the front staff and everyone else I had a interaction with was top notch

It’s safe to say that I have found my new dentist! I called this morning due to major gum and tooth pain that wouldn’t subside and was able to be seen within a couple hours.

Once I arrived I only needed to wait a few minutes and was then seen by some of their super friendly staff. Dr. Dye was super informative of the type of procedure that was needed and how it would take place.

From the moment I was taken back to the time the procedure was completed was no more than 45 minutes. They also made sure I was comfortable and pain free throughout the process.

I will be returning for future dental needs!

I came in super nervous about getting a tooth extracted. Dr slate and Denise made me feel right at home. Took my mind off of what was happening and then it was over. Recovering was great. No issues or pain. He called and checked on me that evening and all was well. Very down to earth dentist. He will definitely be my new dentist in Statesboro. The office from the beginning to end was all around great and I felt like I was home.

Dr. Slate is truly wonderful! I had alot of concerns and questions on my tooth that needed a crown, even possible a root canal, but He ensured me in every step of the way on what was best for me!

Chelsey did a great job cleaning my teeth! I also saw Wendy the first time I went to SFD for my cleaning and she did awesome as well.

My experience with Dr. Slate and his staff was exemplary! I called and got an appointment the same day. They explained what was going on with my wisdom teeth and my options. When they noticed by extreme anxiety, they did everything they could to calm and comfort me. The procedure went off without a hitch and the staff made sure that I was comfortable. Highly recommend.

This staff at this office treated me great. Denise and Dr .Slate were so good to me . This will be my main dental office from now on !

I always know I’m in the best hands when I walk into Statesboro Family Dental. It always starts with the check in where I’m nicely greeted by Jamie & Kiley then to the wonderful assistants of Dr Walinchus or the amazing hygienist like Chelsey, JJ, Augusta, Wendy, Crystal or Malinda, they always take care of me. So thankful to call this my dental home for all my needs ❤

Dr. Walinchus and his assistant did an amazing job making me feel at ease during my fillings. He listened to all of my concerns and made sure that everything was pain-free. I would highly recommend him!

Been using this dentist for years, but today was an especially great visit! I LOVED Wendy and Dr. O! Wendy was very efficient and made sure to present me with any/all options. She was very aware of her time and made me feel like the only patient even though she was moving so quickly as to not make her next patients wait. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and I am PUMPED about this 3D scan they did of my teeth!

10/10 recommendation, it was a painless visit they made sure I was comfortable before they could proceed with any preparations, they are very understanding and willing to work with you! :)

This was my first appointment with this practice since Dr. McGibony left, I was pleasantly surprised. Augusta was my hygienist and she was awesome, explaining every step of the way what she was doing. Then Dr. Olson came in, she was amazing, giving both a visual and a verbal assessment of my X-rays. If you need dental care, I highly recommend McGibony & Associates. They are the best in the Bork.

I have had the best of care from this dental office! From the front desk to the highly-qualified, highly-skilled dentist and hygienist! They have a multitude of great talent and expertise to offer! I highly recommend this team of professionals.

Dr Olson is very Professional and skilled. She has a great supportive team. Ive had quite a lot of work completed and would recommend her too anyone.

Went in for an assessment, since it'd been 5+ years since last seeing a dentist. Dr. Slate ended up doing same day extractions. I never felt judged due to the state of my teeth. Everyone was friendly and respectful. Billing administrator offered options for financing and "worked the numbers" with in-house discounts to lower my overall bill.

If you’re having doubts about Mcgibony & Associates let me assure you they are the best and there is no need to worry if you’re in good hands. YOU ARE!! Their staff is truly the nicest and most caring individuals that keep you feeling like family every visit. Dr. Olsen is 10/10 qualified for her job and has the patients in mind every step of the way. Her knowledge and skills are top notch and trust me SHE KNOWS WHAT DHES DOING 100%. I had a tooth pulled and of course I was concerned about what could go wrong but she kept me informed the whole time with everything she did and had the best personality that made me feel safe and calm. I truly could keep going because they deserve the praise but I’ll keep it short. Go and you’ll see what I see, trust me!

My first visit and i was attended by Dr. Olson! I’m very terrified of going to the dentist but she and the staff made me feel so comfortable and gave me a pleasant experience! I’m actually looking forward to my next visit and will definitely recommend their office! Thanks again. :)
