Britt's Cafe - South Lakeland

I’m in town on business and saw this restaurant. Decided to stop in for breakfast. Great service. The over easy eggs were just right, good hash browns and sausage. Good hot coffee and great service. Hats off to Britt’s Team!

This place is amazing. Simple food, served simply in a great environment. It's a hidden gem in South Lakeland often over looked with is a shame.
They make an amazing Cuban believe it or not and their portions for the price is out of this world. Don't be surprised if there is a small wait from time to time ( but it is totally worth it.)
Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

I really enjoyed the food and service. The inside is small so we sat outside. For a Monday morning I enjoy the small crowds. My grill pork chop was cooked to perfection. And my sister had this hash scrambled which was also tasty. Nice brunch place. Service was fast and friendly.

Best breakfast ever! My fiance and I come almost every Monday morning after coming off shift. Great thing to look forward to every week. Our server, Heather is always so positive and welcoming. The chef cooks amazing dishes. I love their Britney sandwich! You won't be disappointed.

Had to take my son to pick up his glasses and he commented on how good the food smelled coming from the cafe next door. Decided to take him to lunch. It was a great experience. It is a small hole in the wall type cafe. Definitely nothing fancy but who cares. Everything was great. Our server was Christina and she was awesome. Even though we had never been there she made us feel like we were old friends coming to lunch. Both my son and I had burgers. I had the BBQ and he had a cheeseburger. They were fantastic. I usually don't go out to get a burger because my wife's burgers are so good. In this case I'm glad I did because it was really good. My son said his was as well. I'm not much for going out to eat anymore but I wouldn't mind making Britt's my Saturday lunch with wife spot permanently.

Rebecca was our waitress and was very attentive to our needs. We had the Fish Friday meal which was Pollack and the meal was good a well. The inside was very crowded and a little warm with the people and the cooking. They cook your orders right there. We chose to sit outside. It was a nice breezy evening and very enjoyable. The fish is fried. If you’re not a fan of fried foods you may opt for a different option. They were very crowded, all and all no complaints. There was a little wait for the food, but understandable. Went here off reviews and because we were in the area. The reviews were right! Very good food. My whole family enjoyed it. I hope my review allows someone else want to come and and enjoy the experience!

My first time visiting Britt's Cafe in Lakeland and I must say it was well worth the visit! This quaint spot is in a perfect location. The vibe is super friendly. We went there with my sister, brother and niece who turned us on to this place. The crew was very familiar with them and treated us like regulars too.😀 Our server, Maggie, was the best. She practically knew their order and she made us feel at home. The food was delicious (see pics). Christina, another server😮, also was a big help as my wife and niece were downloading the Britt's Cafe app. We all had a great time and can't wait to get back! We need more of these type of establishments who care about the food and the relationship with their customers. One last thing I saw that I thought was great. An order came up for one of the servers but she was outside taking care of customers. Another server saw that so she took it upon herself to begin to bring the order out for her fellow server who then came in to get the rest of the order. It's good to see that type of cultural climate in a restaurant. Kudos to the owner and workers.

Amazing food and hospitality they really take feed you good for the price

Had a great time eating breakfast. For the locals, this is a cleaner Fat Jack's with outside seating. The food has it's own type of style. The food is well priced and cooked well. The cooks will try to cook the food to your exact specifications. The service is very friendly. I really enjoyed myself with friends. It is a nice place to go when you want a nice breakfast or lunch. They do take credit cards now.

Very friendly staff, great service, food was cooked just as we ordered, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend eating here!

Delicious sandwiches and burgers... The Cuban is well-seasoned, with the perfect crisp on the pressed bread. The onion rings my wife ordered were the hit of the table, though.

Went back for breakfast and got the Philly omelet (sub pepper jack cheese, because I like some kick 💥), and it was great! Good portion, too!

This is our FAVORITE place to meet before Saturday Bead Club! The food is ALWAYS great (try the French toast!), coffee is hot, and the service is FANTASTIC! We hadn’t been there during all the Publix construction, but went back last week and our server still remembered my “usual”!

Received a smile and good morning as soon as we walked in door. Service was quick to get started. Fresh eggs, food was hot and just the way we like it. Best place to start your day off.

Delicious food and friendly service. You have to get the onion rings with dip. They’re amazing. We will definitely be visiting again!

Service was awesome and the best all American burger. First time visiting with my daughter. She loves this place and wanted me to try. Without a doubt I will make this one of my go to places when I visit Lakeland!

Nice find! Christina took great care of us! The menu had a good variety, food was delicious, portion sizes were ample! Even though it was a busy Saturday morning, we had great service!

This has become mine and my husbands new favorite breakfast spot. Also, I order the French toast every time I go. It’s DELICIOUS. Our favorite server Christina is so quick on her feet and an absolute sweetheart. Not to mention she showed us how to utilize the app to start earning points, which is an awesome bonus! 10/10 recommend. We’ve been treated with nothing but kindness each time we’ve gone and the food is always on point!

Was in Lakeland for work and ate here multiple mornings. The food is excellent and inexpensive! Especially if you get one of the specials, will definitely come back if I'm in Lakeland again.

Immediat service even though it was pretty crowded, could see the food being made and it was delicious. Our server made sure we were good the whole time and the food was amazing. 10/10 I'm gonna go back there
