Durham Central Park

Attended the Annual Blues & Brews Festival at Durham Central Park and had a blast. Local brewers, 3 great bands and multiple food trucks. Great location for the event.

Common Roots, Asian Heritage festival. Very well thought out festival. There were games to engage all attendees to get in touch with their heritage. By completing the activities, you get a reward of either a Booba tea or a Samosa. Performances were interactive too.

I went Thursday evening for get this: free yoga + the option to borrow mats and blocks. Really good space, good shade, green spaces with benches and other activities planned. There is a reasonable amount of free parking inside if you show up early, on gravel, FYI. The bathrooms were locked unfortunately. Good proximity to restaurants/ coffee shops as well. All in all, good venue for outdoor events.

Enjoyed the Holi festival with friends. Program was sponsored by Viceroy Restaurant Durham.

Great place and something to do for everyone. Plenty of activities for kids, a skate park and walking paths through natural plant. Shops and food are easily accessible plus not far from downtown. Handicap accessible

Attended Saturday's Small Business Market for some Christmas shopping. Beautiful artwork made by some local artists and businesses. Also bought some tree ornaments and gifts made by some Colombia artists partnered with Wild YOU.

Came for Mardi gras recently, nice setting. Live music and the locals seemed really willing to get into Mardi gras and dress up. Lots of little kids activities too. The glass jug beer lab put a tent out and sold drinks from there as well as their brick and mortar nearby. Cool spot.

My husband surprised me with a food truck rodeo that was going on today. I love the covered area where food trucks were parked today. There is a playground and plenty of trees to sit under in the shade.

Very clean and eclectic art and family oriented outdoor activities. Enough parking and inviting. The only downer was that the water on the stream wasn't flowing 😔

Beautiful park. There's lots of green to see and experience around here. Spread out sections of park connect by Greenway and you could explore all day and still not see it all.

Family and I really enjoyed visiting this place a few days ago. Great entertainment and food!

Farmers Market was bomb, tons of people, ready made food and groceries plus handmade gifts!

It was a terrific summer open-air music and food truck festival. Bring some blankets or lawn chairs if you plan to attend. There were several wonderful dining alternatives. If you'd like, you could even pack your own picnic. Even though it can be difficult, finding good parking is not impossible. In the summer, I believe these activities take place on the first Friday evening of each month. We enjoyed ourselves with friends and relatives. Except for the food and beverages we bought, the event was free.

We try to go to the iron pour event every year. It's always quite enjoyable!

The Farmers 🚜 market is a great place to find more than just veggies. They have home grown meats, eggs, homemade breads 🍞. They have flowers ( potted and cut). Pottery ,baskets and other things that they make with their own hands. Great place 👌.

Beautiful, fun environment! Went during Earth Day Fest and had a blast!

Great little park / central pavilion. This day hosted the Latino festival

Terrific venue for so many different types of events! Great Farmer's Market, playground, skate park and pavilion. Definite destination Sat. mornings for the wonderful Farmer's Market. There's even a foundry there - the Liberty Arts Foundry!
