Rudy's New York Pizza

I have a strong hunch that Rudy's New York Pizza might just become one of my go-to restaurants, especially with its proximity to our church. The small bar is perfect for having a drink with a close-knit group of friends. On my maiden visit after a church meeting, we ordered a draft beer, the Jekyll, which had a taste reminiscent of an IPA, something I particularly enjoy. We kept it simple with appetizers, opting for calamari and Santa Fe rolls. The calamari was wonderfully fresh and delicious, while the Santa Fe rolls, baked instead of fried, were a delightful surprise. Our waitress, the most senior but also the wisest team member, was exceptionally friendly and personable. She even shared the fascinating history behind the restaurant, which was started by an immigrant from Iceland about 20 years ago. The overall experience, from the food to the service and the nostalgic 1970s ambiance, was truly enjoyable. An added bonus was a PacMan video game, which took me back to the good old days. I enjoyed Jekyll Brewing IPA.

Stuffed pizza was great! Their pizza sauce is delicious. Stromboli was also fantastic. Chicken tenders weren't bad at all. And all at really good prices. We will definitely be back!

Been to Rudy’s several times. I get the same thing. The stuffed “pizza”. Is it a pizza or a sandwich 🤷‍♂ 😆. One of my favorite pizzas around. Staff is always nice with quick service. The restaurant could use some freshening up but I look past that for the pizza.

Family owned business. Always consistent with a family friendly atmosphere. They are now at a new location in Duluth. Stop by and check them. The Pizza is GOOD!

I give it 5 stars overall based on the quality and flavor of the food for the price range. I REALLY love the stromboli. It's almost big enough for two. Add some sides or salads and it's perfect for two. Always cooked just right.

Tasty New York style pizza. A bar with a microbrew or two on tap. Retro arcade games. Friendly staff. And somehow I get my pizza on time even when they're slammed with orders. This has become our family's main pizza place.

It has been years since we've been here, not because it's bad, just so many other choices. So glad we decided to get a decent pizza today (not one of those cheap $5 ones)... OMG... So good!! Generous, fresh toppings. The garlic knots and the sauce are so soft and tasty. Friday night dinner hour and it only took 20mins. Will be back soon!

Food was good. Not amazing. I will have to update after eating their pizza. I had the chicken parmesan which was ok. Their garlic knots are good. The best thing about the place is the food portion and pricing.

We were worried that Rudy's would change after the move several years back, but we have consistently been pleased with the quality and portion size of the food for the price. Even though they are no longer around the corner from us, we still go out of our way to eat there.

Great choice when it comes to a good New York style pizza. The salads are freshly made along with their homemade italian/vinigerette dressing to go along with it.

The spaghetti lunch special and Stromboli are the only items I ever bought and they are always delicious!

Closest to NY style pizza since I moved. Didn't dine in but the atmosphere felt good. Sevice was also good overall. I frequent often

We have been eating here for years, as far back as when they were in the Kroger shopping plaza on Steve Reynolds Blvd. I am a native New Yorker and it's known that NY has some of the best pizza. This place actually gives me a little taste and reminder of home. Pizza is not their only specialty. They have a lot of delicious options. Our favorites are the garlic knots, Santa Fe egg rolls, and lasagna. This place never disappoints. I hate that they moved from the Steve Reynolds location, but they are worth the drive and even agreed to continue to deliver for us since we have been longtime customers.

I live off of Grayson in Lawrenceville but will always make the drive because of the good food excellent

Went to early lunch. Had lasagna, salad, and a coke. Very tasty came out fast. I was first person seated for lunch. About a dozen more tables were taken within 15 mins. 1 single server took care of everyone cheerfully, and correctly. She was amazing. Try it out, you'll like it.

Slices very big side salad was a meal all for 8.53 lunch special definitely recommended 👌

Tried just a personal sized cheese pizza. Perfectly portioned, cooked fresh in 10 minutes, and great quality ingredients. I’ll be back sooner than later!
