We recently needed to quickly purchase a new Exmark mower and the turn-around time was fantastic. Our mower was delivered several days ahead of schedule. We appreciate their great customer service

When you need something, think of Howard Brothers first. They have everything and they’re super helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone greets you with a smile and they have yummy, free popcorn!

We have had this cub cadet for years, and when it broke down, we took it to MULTIPLE repair shops. None of them could figure out what was wrong, and would leave us with a bill and a broken machine.

Enter Carter, our miracle mechanic. He worked with us to schedule a pick up, and he was so helpful and pleasant to work with. He picked up the mower with his truck (for an EXTREMELY reasonable fee) and took it back to the shop. We got a call from him the next morning, and he had already found the problem, fixed it, and tested it by mowing an acre and a half of land just to make sure it was actually solved the problem (at our request). He delivered it back to us that day and it has been working ever sense.

We have been to MANY repair shops for machines over the years and this has been the best experience we've ever had. They made it extremely easy on us, charged an extremely fair rate, and had some of the best customer service. They have earned us as a customer and will be our first call if we ever have an issue again.

Very helpful and knowledgeable people working here! The store has a large selection of inventory for most needs. They helped me cut a key for my 2004 Toyota Camry. Unfortunately, the first key was cut a little too deep and didn’t allow the key to turn while in the ignition, but they got me right by having another key in stock and cut more shallow just in case. Key fit perfectly and worked! Charged far less than a locksmith or dealer which was the best part.

I used to come here as a kid with my mother for kerosene for the space heater. Anyway, I came here a few weeks ago to get insulation for pipes since the temperatures would be in the single digits. The staff is nice and friendly if you're struggling to find something.

Very knowledgeable people here that are friendly, patient, and glad to help you. Immense selection of hardware here, so you can get even the most obscure fasteners and other parts. They also sell and service yard equipment and other gear. Stop by to look around and you too will be impressed. Prices are very reasonable, too.

For 30+ years, Howard's has been my go-to place for hardware. I really like the extensive selection of bolts, nuts, washers and screws. I'm a do-it-yourselfer, and every project finds me back here, sometimes more than once. Staff is very helpful, and friendly. Wish they had longer hours though.

Nice, friendly and knowledgeable folks on lawn mowers: Repaired my 360 rider where another shop just didn't know what to do. Carter is my man..when it comes to how to fix a mower,, and at a fair price..

These folks were friendly and very helpful. My fiance and I have a 10 yr old non verbal autistic son and sometimes he can be a handful but employees of Howard Brothers made the buying process of my new 2020 exmark 48 inch turf tracer one to remember. Great service. Thanks for the propane fill of my tanks.... Great friendly service. Chatted while he filled my tanks to the BRIM.. Cool guy! Way better price than the exchanges esp on my 30lb'er for $/gal...I had a bum knee and I was limping. He offered to carry my tanks to my truck...tnx! . Went inside to pay and selection looked great. I woulda been a kid in a candy store with the high end lawn power equip and other tools but no time since I had a strained knee at the time. Will Def go back for my propane needs and other hardware store needs. Looked to have a full selection of Makita and other tools. I just happen to have makita 18v. Plus a knives showcase like a gun show... This place is right up my alley. 👍👍👍

Quick and easy service. I ask for some rope in a 10 ft length. Was taken to rope section, were I choose the correct size for my project. Nice shop and workers.

Howard Brothers is THE BEST! Sales/service... these guys KNOW THEIR STUFF. Not like the big box stores where the "experts" end their shifts to go work at the fast food joint down the street. There are stores that are closer to me than HB, but I gladly pass them by on my drive to Howard Brothers.

This is a true "hardware store", not a big box "home improvement center". Love it! The selection of hardware and tools is unmatched. Aisle after aisle of loose nuts & bolts, etc. The service can't be beat. Friendly staff who'll walk you right to whatever you're looking for, or just let you browse.

Could not find a replacement Bag and a Frame for my 20+ year old Honda mower anywhere except online where it cost almost two hundred dollars. When I walked towards the parts section of the store I was meet with Jamaal. Not only was he professional and friendly, but he was also able to quickly find the exact parts I needed at a bargain. Unfortunately, the order took over two weeks to come in due to a complication, not at fault of Howard Brother's. But once again Jamaal was able to help me get the parts I ordered and allow for a speedy checkout. This place definitely shows that they genuinely care for their customers, I will be using Howard Brothers for any future lawn equipment needs.

P.S If you are looking to purchase any lawn equipment skip HomeDepot or Lowes, pay a little more and purchase quality equipment from Howards. The equipment from here will more than pay for the extra that you spent. Also as a plus, the knowledgeable staff will be able to direct you to an equipment specific to your lawn needs.

A REAL Hardware Store! Say no more... but I will... Excellent selection of basic 'hardware', they even have a wide selection of black-oxide, socket head cap screws, button head screws, and stainless hardware - the stuff that makes my projects look professional. They also have expertise, and can offer more than a 'goofy look' or a SKU look-up when asked a question (you know who I'm talking about: "Homer D"). Half the store is dedicated to power equipment and caters to the professional lawn care set - but that has even come in handy for me, when I needed carburetor parts for the lawnmower, or a fuel line for the string trimmer.

Old school hardware store. In addition to having almost everything, the employees actually know what all of it is and can help you with what you need. Plus: FREE popcorn. And they don't get mad when my daughter spills half of it on the floor EVERY TIME. They just seem happy that it's keeping her entertained while I pull more stuff off the shelves.

My favorite local hardware store. Great staff and carries quality and some hard to find needs. For nuts, bolts and other fasteners this is the place to go!
