It feels like this shop runs on honesty and pride for work well done. These guys treated me fairly. My Lexus has 185K miles. I stay on top of maintenance and buy OEM parts that I bring with me. Upon inspection, Jimmy found a part that was overdue for replacement. Their prices for the parts and labor were very reasonable and they coordinated my service flawlessly. Ron runs the shop well. I highly recommend them.

Excellent work, definitely recommend! These guys treated my son fairly and did a great job repairing several systems of his Honda, which had desperately overdue work that was needed. It’s running better than ever now, thanks to the team at Southern Motorworks!

I am late in wiring this review, but this may have been the best and kindest auto shop I have ever been too. I rolled up 15 minutes before closing on Valentines Day, after way overfilling on oil like a knucklehead at a store down the road. These guys stayed open and got me an emergency oil change then and there.

Beyond that, you can tell that this is a business run on love and attention to detail. Can't speak highly enough and I will be back for sure.

I recently had my Mazda serviced and needed a new alternator. Truly, the experience exceeded my expectations! Ron and Jimmy are friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the repairs needed. They provided excellent communication throughout, keeping me informed of the progress.

Omg where do I start? I just want to thank Southern Motor Works not only for their customer service and hospitality but also for being genuine and honest about their work. Jimmy, Ron and crew members we’re amazing. They explained in detail what was happening and wrong with my car. Jimmy gave me a quote and I was not able to pay it. However he looked beyond the money aspect and focused on my safety and asked me what I had to work with. I informed him I have this amount of money and for my safety he worked with me with what I had and is fixing the most important parts in my car. I am so appreciative of these guys that words can. I had the best experience i have ever had when I send my Toyota Sienna to Southern Motor after got hit. The owner Jimmy and team are best ever, explain everything i needed to know clearly, very responsive. I got my car back after 3 weeks, oh my they did a fantastic job, great workmanship. They checked the entire car before they hand it back to me, top my my engine oil ,told me what I need to be replace in future , They clean up my entire car, polish my tire, my car literally looks like new and they also reduced my final bill without me asking too. Just before i drove away, Ron the front desk send me out telling me just have to drive carefully, many reckless driver out there. Just few simple words but that makes my day. Southern Motor Works is excellent service in Gwinnett County. Jimmy Tran and his crew has been like family since 2005. They are very efficient and knowledgeable. I won’t go any place else with my car. Great prices too. They are the best!
