What a great shop! If I lived closer, I'd be here pretty often - I like the mix of designer goods and accessible fashion.

I HATE shopping, but Ariel at MODE makes it fun and takes the guesswork out of it for me. She's the reason I went to MODE today to shop for a lifestyle photo shoot coming up for my business, and I had no idea what to wear. Ariel understood the assignment. She picked clothes that I wouldn't have, but her style is better than mine. Protip from Ariel, try on everything you like, despite what the manufacturer's tagged size is. I bought clothes from size small to large and size 8-12. Ariel was there to tell me if something fit well or didn't. I've always just tried on what I thought my size was. Who knew! I ended up buying more clothes than I had planned to because she made the experience painless.

The selection is amazing because they really go through each piece they take in to make sure it is in good condition and has value. There is not another place I recommend more than here for designer pieces. They are well priced, the staff is super kind and approachable. The fitting room is roomy and has a chair to put your stuff on which is the best! (I am throwing shade at stores that make you get creative on how to keep your things off the floor) Rachel helped me out today and was of course so charming and helpful. I am really happy with all the stuff I got and can't wait to see what they have next week!

This is the best consignment shop I’ve ever been to! I’ve been a customer and seller for over a year now, and I am really happy with their pricing on both sides of the sale. They have awesome designer options as well as some very solid mid range brands. You get the sense it’s very curated, the store is well organized, and all of the employees are very nice and helpful! Such an awesome spot in downtown Durham. I hope it stays here forever. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

A beautiful design and elegant boutique with light fixtures mixed with windows sunlight glass reflects upon the many authentic merchandise. Boutiques like this makes going downtown a beautiful experience.

Beautifully arranged items, friendly staff, and great selections. I found a DKNY white dress and a beautiful coral silk blouse for 1/2 off!

I love coming into Mode! I have three little kids, so shopping time is definitely limited in my life right now. I love that I can come in, scope the selection quickly (because it’s well organized!), try on, and get out with a couple of great treasures in the limited time I have to shop. Employees are always super friendly and nice, and I really like the space. Have recently found two or three great new pieces, denim-wise, and a sweater that I’m obsessed with. Mode is my go-to when I need a quick wardrobe refresh.

MODE is a gorgeous consignment boutique, filled with fabulous staff and beautiful clothing. I think their prices are very reasonable (especially with the sales), and I cannot wait to go back.

I’ve consigned & shopped here for over 10 years. I love the selection of fine clothing and mall brands, I’ve found some of my favorite pieces here in brands I’d never even heard of. Unlike a thrift store you don’t have to sift through old/dated clothes to find quality items, that’s the beauty of this consignment store. The employees are friendly and helpful, the space is pleasant and convenient. I look forward to shopping here for years to come.

I adore Fifi's. . .the prices are extremely reasonable, and like all other stores their high-end, designer items are higher priced, but also very much within reason. . .their prices are good and the selection is excellent. . .last time I was there I found a beautiful pair of Gucci sunglasses at a much better price than would pay retail. . .they even came with the Gucci case!

I've been a regular customer of Fifi's for years. It's an easy solution to selling old clothes and making a little money. Much easier than photographing each item, posting on an online selling platform, corresponding with potential buyers, and then mailing the item. True, that not all of my items have sold in the past but, that has happened to me when I've tried to sell online as well. In the end anything that is non-designer that doesn't sell ends up at a great local charity and high end designer items are returned. I highly recommend this store for the busy woman looking to sell her items! Also, some amazing high end designer items come through their store at reasonable prices if your looking for that incredible pair of shoes, designer purse, or cute dress.

Great selection of designer clothes at affordable consignment prices! Always a top go-to for thrifting! Parking is a little tight but great variety in clothing and friendly staff!
