Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry of Statesboro

We are moving out of state, we will travel to use them for our Grandson every 6 months. They are truly amazing.
My 4 year old Grandson absolutely loved Dr. Strictland
The receptionist was thorough and made she all services on the bill were covered.
The rate are very reasonable

The doctors and nurses are super good with children. They made my son feel so comfortable and at ease during his cleaning. The office is very kid friendly and family oriented. They have tvs everywhere including mounted above the dental chairs and they always have kids movies playing. They also have a photo wall where you can snap a pic of your child after they are done. Just awesome!!!

I was referred to Dogwood by a family member and being the skeptic that i am boy was i wrong about this place. I had my appointment 06/25/2020 at 3:30 in the afternoon. I was already on edge with it being my daughters 1st dental appointment, but the staff was phenomenal! Just the set up of the office space itself is so much more child friendly than anywhere else i have ever seen. The girl that first had contact with my daughter and set the tone for the visit was on her game(I think her name was Kayla?). She went though ever step with her showing her how it was done before hand, not just the sit still and lets get this over with method. I swear it must have only taken her less than 5 min to completely clean, rinse and floss my 4 year old teeth. (speed cleaner skill were on point) She took her time explaining the x-rays as well and whizzed through those encouraging my daughter the whole time. By the time Dr. Phillip go to her to finish up the exam my daughter was excited to see him and her pictures of her teeth. We were there just over 30 min total and when we got in the care and i told my daughter how proud i was of her she responded with "I LOVE the dentist mama, this place is awesome can we come back here again?" So with taking the LONG road here, THANK YOU DOGWOOD for putting my daughter first and making her experience something she and I will always remember. What a great experience! The vibe in the office was very bubbly from the staff and even the patients in the waiting room. It was so easy and accommodating. Each person we interacted with was very knowledgeable, personably , and most importantly they seemed to enjoy their job! Which is very hard to find these days!!
My 3 year old was so comfortable, it was like he has visited multiple times! I highly recommend especially, if you have a child that is very timid with doctors.

My kids say they like this dentist better. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Overall it was a great visit.

First dentist appointment for my twin girls and they were so gentle and sweet with them . Very clean , professional over all amazing . Highly recommend .

I took my niece and nephew in for their first dental appointment today and everything was great. The receptionist called to make sure that we knew where to find them, check in went smoothly, the wait to be called back was not an extended one, the dental assistant was very friendly and made the kids feel comfortable, while talking them through every part of their cleaning, and the dentist was very polite and knowledgeable. I am glad that we decided to go with this office. I think we are going to love it here!

My son has Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is very apprehensive about new experiences. And sometimes medical appointments can be a complete disaster. This was NOT OUR EXPERIENCE AT DOGWOOD!!!
The staff was warm and welcoming. The facility was clean and modern. The hygienist, Kara (please forgive me if I've misspelled) and Dr. Phillip Gordon were extremely patient and caring and did an awesome job with my son!!! The visit was stress FREE! And parents of children with behavioral development concerns understand how truly important that last sentence is!!! Thanks so much Dogwood Family!

My daughter has been going since she was 2 and is genuinely excited to go. The women are super friendly and good with my daughter. She gets to pick her prize after getting her teeth cleaned and watches the bubble feature on the wall. Very clean office as well

We love this place! Every time we go we are in and out. All of the staff are always so nice and professional. My son has never had a issue with going to the dentist and he has been going here since he started seeing one. They always make it comfortable for the child. They even have tv’s for the kids to watch while getting their teeth cleaned. It is hands down one of the best in Statesboro.

This place is great! Not only did they fix what a previous dentist messed up for my daughter, they did it with kindness and great service. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this office for kiddos!

Great place! Every one there is so patient, friendly, and just sweethearts! You can tell this place has lots of love for children. They do a awesome job with my son everytime and always make him feel comfortable. Very colorful place too, always is clean. My son loves going to Dogwood. Always a great experience!

I absolutely loved our experience with y’all!! Y’all were so gentle and patient with my 2 year old (which he didn’t get at his other dentist they were so rough and made him bleed a lot) we definitely have found our pediatric dentist until he outgrows y’all

Staff was perfect as soon as we walked through the door. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the doctor was phenomenal. I absolutely love that my co-worker told me about them. Overly satisfied 👍

This was our FIRST experience with this office and I could not be any more satisfied . They were extremely nice and compassionate, especially with my almost 2 year old (first dental experience) . My 10 year old, who’s seen another dentist in the past had VERY positive things to say once we got in the car . Dogwood will be their dental office from here on out !

Dr. Philip and staff are amazing! My kids LOVE going to the dentist they are ALL three seen at the same time! The staff always talk about how well behaved the kids are & I tell them it’s just because they love coming here! They feel so comfortable and trust everyone here! Thank y’all for being amazing and patient with all the kiddos! <3

Wonderful folks would recommend it. My grandson has Asperger's autism and he doesn't like change. His last visit last week he usually sees a female dentist and this time he saw a male dentist he did perfect

This office and their staff is absolutely wonderful! My son had a dental emergency and they got him in same day. Dr. Strickland was quick, thorough, and my son loved him and the assistant. Very sweet and friendly staff - from the first call to the time we walked out. We are very pleased and thankful to have such an awesome place to take my kiddos.

What a great experience with my preschooler. The staff was extremely pleasant and their dedication to making a trip to the dentist a positive experience for a young child was evident. Our hygienist was very personable. She had just the right combination of charm and skillset for working with kiddos. The dentist treated us very warmly, and clearly communicated all pertinent information. The office is clean and bright, and definitely designed for children.

Absolutely loved it. Super patient. Everyone was so kind from the time we entered the doors. Loved all the tvs, including above the dental chair, to help keep the little one relaxed.
My little says she ready to have her teeth cleaned again. Such a great experience for a first visit to the dentist.
