There was a lot more there than I expected! Many things were blooming, although it was Fall. I am looking forward to future trips when more is in season. I loved seeing all the butterflies. Some paths are paved and there are also natural paths throughout the wooded areas of the property. Information signs were everywhere to provide details of plants, trees, the property and about farm life. You can tour the Bland's house to see how they lived. A lot of care has been given to the property. I will certainly return.

Great place to have great experience with nature and loved people. Find frogs, lizards and other animals. Farmer side: fruits, berries and vegetables. Old school building and historical areas. Nice and beautiful time. Thanks for maintaining and taking care! It's very important! I am impressed ♥

I could spend all day here, everyday of the week if I could! One of the most beautiful gardens I've been to. Lots of spacious grounds and wonderful walk paths. Very well maintained and the plants where absolutely beautiful and healthy. Love the different learning tools and exhibits throughout the garden. Several places to cool off if it's a hot day. Pack a lunch cause it's definitely worth the visit ❤

Went here today for Plant Sale and walking the gardens. Not a big place but sooo many plant varieties for photos. Some good birding, too. Staff and volunteers at Plant Sale were GREAT!!

An incredible oasis of tranquility in the middle of the bustling town. The old Bland farm buildings are an awesome piece of history. The grounds are manicured in places and natural in others - well worth the small $5 suggested donation asked at the entrance. This is a must see for local folks, surely many of whom have never turned one block off of this section of Fair Road.

Best botanical garden in Georgia per aperture!! This old Bland Farm, where in the early 1980s James in his 70s introduced me to his Uncle Dan in his 90s and we picked pears, looked at arrowheads, talked shop and where i got married in the 00s, is expertly and excellently curated and is showcase for early education inspiring a love of nature which inspires a love of learning. As foreign languages are an imprint of ecological experiences, I've taught those as a window to the language of nature seen and observed and learned to be loved in gardens such as this one. The Bland family legacy continues through new gardeneers, bioneers, and ecologists. #Permaculture

WOW! A real.comfortable afternoon reading about the history of farming during the 20's to the 50's. Plenty of signs to discribe the plants AND life on the farm. I can see why Saturdays are closed to only special groups. There are a lot of areas for wedding / social pictures. Sunday is only 1 to 4:30 and it may take several hours to enjoy it all. Look close for the special handmade fixtures.

It's so beautiful and peaceful I was surprised because of the closeness of the highway. The plants are amazing if the weather is right you could certainly get lost in wandering around. So many beautiful plants such a relaxing environment. We encountered one worker and she was very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed it and can't wait to visit it again.

I didn't really calculate in the season, but I had an overall good visit. I will definitely be back when the flowers are in bloom. Here are 2 pictures that I captured

For such a small area, I was extremely impressed with the variety of plants and the history of how it came to be.

Recently the gardens entrance and parking were improved and new bathrooms installed. Wow, it only gets better every year. It is a truly unique and beautiful space for special occasions started by the Bland family so many years ago. The recent plant sale came on a nice cool weekend. There is coffee from Starbs this year and other refreshments plus a friendly staff. I encourage everyone to come out next year.

Beautiful Scenery with informative markers along the paths. The markers identified trees, blooming flowers and shrubbery growing throughout. There were benches and a wooden swing inviting rest stops and opportunity for a quick photo. The cottage in the garden had an informational platform with historical facts about the original residents of the garden. During our visit there was a plant sale and The Bee's Knees vendor that had a variety of honey to offer. This is indeed a Beautiful Place to visit.
