I don’t take it lightly reviewing businesses. I understand that it can affect someone’s livelihood. However, I also realize that when people look at a particular business, they want to know other people’s experiences and may base their decision to use that business based off the reviews. So I want to always be fair, regardless if it’s a positive review or not. I contacted this business and made an arrangement for 50 bales of straw to be delivered today. I was a little worried when the person I talked to started asking me if I wanted square or round bales. I didn’t really care as long as it was the same amount of straw. But he informed me, if I went with round bales, it would be less bales but actually more straw and seemed to be pushing me towards round bales. It just seemed odd, and a bit suspicious. More importantly, I was told my straw would be delivered between 8 and 9 this morning. It wasn’t. I called around 10 o’clock but no one answered and I didn’t receive a call back. I am a man of my word and I expect the same from others. If you tell me you’re going to provide a service, and then don’t, I have a huge problem with that. I understand that something extenuating could’ve happened, but to not even take my call or contact me to explain what happened is extremely poor customer service. Therefore, I give this business a one star rating.
