Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Urgent Care Center - Satellite Boulevard

This facility is efficient and always does a great job with my sons. The hours are amenable with my schedule, the staff is competent and charges are known up-front. The Doctors are thorough and friendly. Being a Healthcare Provider myself, I'm particularly sensitive to protocol and chairside manner. This place is more efficient than my son's pediatrician's office and they actually enjoy coming here. I would recommend this facility without reservation or hesitation. .

I was a little nervous taking him here after reading the reviews but I knew my son couldn’t wait until Monday.
From the reception, to the nurses and Dr. Sue the care was Excellent! No attitudes, no rushing, just great patient care. This was the best experience ever!

P.S. I was in and out in 2 hours, x-ray, breathing treatment. Strep and pneumonia diagnosed Med prescribed!

We had a great experience here, despite reading some negative reviews. It was so much better than going to an emergency room with a toddler (I imagine). Registration was painless, the nurses did what they had to do to triage us and the doctor listened to our issue without judgement. We were so happy to not have to go to the hospital this time but would have felt confident in their advice if they would have sent us. They were all very professional and helpful! Thank you!

My son needed a few stitches in his head after hitting it on the stair bannister. We were immediately seen before registration was even completed, prior to getting the stitches we went back out while the numbing meds went to work and complete the insurance verification. And brought right back in to complete his procedure. All in all was in and out in less than 1.5 hrs. Dr Sou, and all that staff were Amazon.

I brought my son for his first appointment here this morning as a new patient and can’t thank Beena Jacks the front desk lady who helped us check in and get seen today! She was very sweet and gave such a positive attitude. And the place was very nice , clean and staffed with so many great workers who was so very kind . Thank y’all for your time and care given to our sweet boy today I appreciate it so much

My daughter fell on the playground at school around 10:45am. I rushed from work and picked her up at 12pm. I tried to get her seen by her primary physician but they stated Children’s Urgent Care would be able to do an x-ray to see if there was any broken bones.

I rushed there, she was sent for x-ray at 1:15pm and we saw Dr. Brown at 1:35pm (luckily no broken bones ❣) and she was discharged at 2:00pm.

Overall I was extremely satisfied with our experience here, the swift but accurate and thorough service was EXCELLENT!!!!

So grateful for the care and kindness from the all of the staff. They went above and beyond to make my 3 year old comfortable, feel welcomed and cared for. She had an xray done, and it went smoothly with the calm and kind mannered technician. So grateful for this experience!

11 years of x-rays, labs and urgent care and they've ALWAYS been prompt, attentive and polite! I recommend showing up at the time they open, in/out of urgent care in less then 1 hour, in/out of x-rays and labs within 30 minutes.

I've have been coming to this urgent care with my young children for years. The staff has always been very kind and respectful, I really don't understand so many bad reviews. I have never seen anyone turned away. Wait times can be high at times but you get very good care. You would wait much longer at a hospital. If you have serious concerns upon your arrival they assess your child right away.

Brought my daughter here yesterday evening for respiratory related issues, from start to finish, very professional service. Dr Brown and Sydney who checked on my kid were very detailed and cautious in their assessment leaving no stone unturned. In a high pressure/stress environment they ensured that my daughter was looked after and kept comfortable till we had to take an ambulance to the ER. Highly recommend!

After going to 2 other urgent cares that couldn’t take me because they had reach the limit of walk ins, one of the front desk ladies told me to go to the Children’s urgent care. I got there and they told me it was going to be a wait time of about 4 hours and I said I’ll stay. Everyone was so nice. We got seen in 2 hours and we’re out of there my son had a pink eye. Sent out eye drops to my pharmacy. It took 17 minutes to get to my pharmacy and the drops were ready for me. So blessed with all of the caretakers that are there to help us during this pandemic that is still going on. Thank you all for your excellent work.

Arrived at 10:45 and was number 13 in line. They have a great system for getting large volumes of patients through and seen in a timely manner. Brought my two year old in with fever, congestion, and coughing. The whole team was compassionate and thorough, and patient with him as he was very upset the whole time. They gave fever reducing meds and a popsicle, and tested for some common viruses. I felt respected and heard. Definitely a good place for same day care.

We were there for 4.5 hours. They were slammed with so many sick children. Every single person we encountered was kind, compassionate, and helpful. I was super impressed. Under the circumstances, it was quite pleasant. Excellent care for my little one.

I brought my five year old to be seen since she was running a fever and wasn’t feeling well. I was surprised at how quickly she was seen. The staff was so nice, especially Dr.Kim. She was so knowledgeable and thorough. My daughter left feeling better and with a Popsicle in hand :)

Amazing service from everyone I came in contact with. Dr.Brown was amazing, so was the service rep delilah. I cannot remember our triage nurse’ name but she was absolutely wonderful. You can tell she loves her job and she’s great with children. Perfect place for her to be. Thank you Choa for the amazing service today!

My 10 month old had to get tubes in his ears, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - Duluth took really great care of him while easing my fears at the same time. They were so loving and kind. We had to arrive at 6:30 am, and registration was a breeze. The lady who checked us in was a breath of fresh air.....very sweet, kind, and bubbly at 6:30 am! The hospital was very clean...all doctors came in and spoke with my husband and me. I was able to stay with my baby while he was receiving his anesthesia, and the hospital called a few days after surgery to check on my precious one! Thank you so much for caring for my baby and us!!!!

When we have to come it is always very a smooth visit. There is a bit of waiting but that is normal first most urgent care centers. I love the online appointment times. They can give you accurate updates of when you will be seen while you are waiting. The doctors and nurses here are all incredible kind and very good with their patients. I hope to not have to come back to soon but I would not hesitate to come back!

I'm sorry for the parents who have had a bad experience. I, however, have not. I've taken my daughter maybe 5 times and I am always greeted, shown how to check in, and seen within a considerable amount of time. No matter how busy I have seen them, my waiting time is always accurate with an exception of 15 extra minutes one visit. We are normally called to sign for insurance almost immediately, never had to wait for a doctor for a very long time....nothing over 20 minutes tops. I'm usually that impatient parent so that says a lot for me. Nursing staff are extremely nice to my daughter, everyone explains things enough for my standards, one doctor even took some extra steps to make sure my daughter got the medicine that would best fit her. I'm that parent that has a slew of questions, they seem to satisfy my inner aggravating mom lol. I hope everyone else gets the same experiences I have!
