The staff here are very knowledgeable and ready to assist with helping you get the right tools, parts or equipment needed for your project.
They service what they sell and carry most OEM replacement parts should you need them and can order those they don't stock. Their small engine shop does quality and timely work should your equipment require service.

Great place to buy a pew pew as well as your hardware needs. Very knowledgeable staff.

Bought a used zero turn mower from Raeford Hardware. Never had one before, so the guys went through everything with me. Staff was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Husband and I have been coming here for almost a decade. They try and keep what he needs in stock, the staff are always personable and helpful, the store is clean and organized. It's a pleasure to stop in whether it's for chainsaws, lawn care, or ups drop off, someone is ready and willing to assist you.

Let me start with the cons.. there are none except my thought they should be open just a bit later cause sometimes I don't make it there after work. But hey, they're there Saturdays when I'm off and always willing to help.

The first time I stopped in, I was just out and about and wanted to just see what they had. I did not have enough time to go through the entire store. I left with 2 boxes of ammo that I didn't know they sold and a bag full of I don't even know. I also left with the knowledge that these folks know their stuff. Since then, I've been back a few times and spent a good penny (because I am working on my house, not because it's expensive) and am confident enough to tackle my home project! I even had someone look at pictures with me and help me pick out every part I needed and took the time to show me how to fix it. You will NOT get that at a box store.

The one young lady probably dreads when she sees me walk in. She doesn't show it, but I know I can be a hot mess at times, and even I dont like to deal with myself. She helped me pick out the colors for my kitchen, told me the best way to get the paint off my exterior door for when I repaint it, and so much more.

There is not a person that works there that won't go out of their way to help you. I'm not a price matcher, but I bet the prices are comparable, and for the customer service, they could charge more and I'd still shop here.

Not a bad hardware store at all. They can be surprisingly busy for the type of place they are in a really small town, so be patient, but otherwise they’re really good.

Friendly staff that greets you as you walk in and will help you find what you need. Also gives military discount. I try to shop here before o go to the big box stores.

I work around the corner. I go to this place literally 1-5 times per day. Every single time is a great experience. All very knowledgeable and super helpful. Love going here for almost anything i need.

All the staff was friendly the place was clean. The guy we has the opportunity of working with was very knowledgeable with what I was purchasing. This is definitely going to be our go to spot.

If they don't have it, you probably don't need it! Lots of knowledge and awesome selection. Tons of Yeti products and discount paint.

They have a little bit of everything, great selection of products and hardware. Employees were very friendly and helpful. I'd much rather spend my money there than a "big box store" any day! Support the "MOM AND POP" Businesses while you still can!

My family went in near closing time to purchase an item. The employees were extremely knowledgeable about the product and services for it. Delivery was sooner than original anticipated, but my son absolutely loved his surprise! The service and knowledge received was well beyond what would generally be received at chain stores.

Been here couple times always have a great time. Staff is very friendly and know what they are doing or talking about. Great selection on basically everything you would need from house items to weapons. Theu give you space to walk around or browse where ever you are and also there for any questions. Definitely the place to go.

The staff gives you a sense of being important they try to provide for every customer! Excellent customer service with a wide variety of all tools everything from carpentry to gardening at descent prices!

I had a very good experience with Raeford Hardware a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to buy 2 identical Wilmington Grills but needed one converted over to natural gas. When I called, the person who answered put a woman named Megan on the phone. She could not have been more pleasant. She followed up with a very nice email and a professionally written quote. A couple of weeks passed by and I called Megan back to place the order.. She remembered our conversation and told me that she would have to see what they had in stock. She said it could be a little while before I heard back from them as they would need to send someone to their warehouse to check their inventory. In about 15 minutes I had a message to call them. I wasn't expecting a call back for hours.
They had 2 grills in stock but would need to order the conversion parts from the company. This was in the middle of the week and I was hoping to pick up the grills on Saturday. Megan said that may be a possibility and would try. In 2 days, I received a very nice email from Megan saying the part had arrived and the grills would be ready. She said she would not be in on Saturday but told me exactly who to ask for. On Saturday when I got to the store, the people I asked for were expecting me and helped me load the grills on the trailer. They could not have been any nicer. As a side note, the one guy mentioned how long he had worked there and said it was because the owners were so nice to work for. On the following Monday, I received a follow up email from Megan asking if everything had gone okay. I live outside of Charlotte and we just don't get first class service like this from any of the chains. If you want to be treated like customers should be treated, go to Raeford and maybe you will be lucky enough to have Megan help you. The experience was worth the drive from Charlotte which was one hour. I will be back. Thanks again Megan! Great service! The grills are awesome! David

If you're looking for an old-fashioned hardware store, this is a great place. And wonderful place to go wonder, feel the history of downtown Raeford, even though they didn't have what I was looking for. Please support this business all you can.
