Atmosphere / Service: 6.9/10
The building is very unique, both inside and out. There's variety in seating with different styles, an upstairs area, and a pleasant outdoor section. The self-service model allows for an uninterrupted meal and experience.

Food:

Cheeseburger Sliders: 5.2/10
The sliders were decent. The meat was tasty, but the buns were too big and not as good as it could of been. One of the bites was full of bun and left a bad taste.

Water - 9.1 - Yes, water made the review. complementary self-serve water. The container was neat and added to the overall atmosphere, however the water was FREEZING COLD. Coldest non iced water one could have. KUDOS!

Beer Battered Cheese Curds: 4.2/10
While these were cooked perfectly, the flavor didn't suit my taste and left an unpleasant aftertaste. Even the sauce didn't help.

Bulgogi Taco: 6.2/10
The menu has some interesting Korean options. The Bulgogi Taco could pass for something from an authentic Korean restaurant, which was a nice surprise. However, it's a unique choice that might not appeal to everyone.

Value: The pricing seems fair - $4 for a slider and $8 for the Bulgogi Taco is reasonable for the quality provided, especially compared to other places.

Extra Note: The menu could use some clarification on some of the sauces. Names like "Mole Sauce" or "Motor Oil" sauce are intriguing but not self-explanatory. Without a waitress to ask, diners might not understand what they're ordering.

Parts & Labor was a great find! In our group we had a mix of vegetarians and non veg and there was great selection for both. I loved the vegetarian poutine options that you don’t see often. The service was order at the counter style and the food came very quickly. Everything we ate was unique and had good flavor. I was sad I was so full I couldn’t order the other items I wanted on the menu. I hope to be able to swing back through to try out some more.

as a vegan living in east durham, this is my GO TO place for lunch/dinner. rapid service, consistent quality, and so many options to choose from.. which is fairly difficult as a vegan in the united states. i highly recommend the sesame udon bowl and vegan empanada.. you wont be disappointed!!! 🌱💕💁🏻

A great place to go with friends or just by yourself. Food was delicious waitstaff and bartenders very friendly. Exquisite overall design as well as very original, I might add. Love the heated patio and the view. Great place to be!!

Music, food, beer... all in the right mix! This is an icon "Service Station" that just keeps on serving! There is so much construction going on in Durham these days and P&L is hopefully going to stay a part of it! Give them a try!

Came here for a beer and lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They have a great selection of drinks and variety of food.

All handheld food, so I’d recommend ordering at least 2 food items per person.

We had their samosas and they may have been the best samosas we have ever had in our life.

Great place!!! The staff is very friendly. The prices are fair and the food is great! The decor is perfect. I loved the large amounts of seating. A perfect place to get dinner and drinks. Will come again!

I had been to shows at Motorco but never bothered with the food but now it’s the only food in the area. I had a basic order of sliders and fries - but they were delicious. The bacon/onion jam and garlic aioli were a great touch; the fries were perfect hand cut and slightly seasoned.

A solid bar attached to Motorco. Most of the seating is outdoor picnic tables, which makes it pretty good for a crowd. I always order beer, which is priced at wonderfully low prices. You could also order your G&T's and such, but don't think it's a cocktail bar.

5 Star only because of the service and attitude we received from the staff. Also, the Geerhouse is lame af for blocking out the sun like they are an ancient Persian army.

Enjoyed my beer and sliders. Very kid-friendly, too. They offer nice little clip-on high chairs for little ones.

One of my best places in Durham - good food at a reasonable price, and the best beers are here!

Dog friendly places are few and far between in Durham, but this is my fave. Great vegan options and my fave hazy beers on draft

In a world filling with gastro pubs and draft houses Parts and Labor still stands out. Inside and outdoor seating. RELAXED! Suds selection has something for everyone, food menu is varied and done very well. Last time here stopped in for a quick beer and stayed 2 hours. Live music often, a favorite venue for many traveling groups. Definitely a locals hangout, one of my favorite places in Durham.

Great place. Chill atmosphere. Large tables outside that separate parties can sit at and even make some new friends. The bar tenders Jaffer, Stuart, and Triston were efficient, patient and knowledgeable. The entire staff seems to work extremely well together and it shows. Cheers!
