Carrick's Custom Guns

I love my great grandfathers browning A5 Light 20 shotgun! One day my cheap gun bags zipper failed. Gun hits my driveway, breaking a 2-inch triangle out of the butt stocks toe. It's glossy Japanese finish I thought was surely ruined. The gun was pristine and I was now ruined... Mr. Carrick came recommended by Fred at Lexington's "GUN STORE" also a 5 star establishment. Mr. Carrick came to the rescue. My stock was repaired, and I still cannot tell where it was chipped completely seamless!!! That was many years ago and it's still looks amazing. I use this gun very frequently. I highly recommend this guy 👌

All of the work that he has ever done for me has been excellent. I've had a scope put on a rifle.
He has also refurbished an antique rifle for my uncle, that now looks brand-new.

This guy is a beast! Excellent old school gunsmith. I live several hours away from Lexington and when my local gunsmiths can't fix the problem, I send it to Carrick. Once I had a Montana rifle stock specialist repair a stock on Sako rifle, the stock cracked again in the exact place the Montana specialist "fixed" it. I took it to Carrick and I was about 2 hours away down the road and he called me to come back and get my rifle, he had found the other gunsmith's mistake and repaired. He even explained to me what the other guy did wrong. He didn't even charge me, said it was an easy fix!

This is a real gunsmith that knows what he’s doing. And he can do it all, his prices can’t be beat!
