Review Update:
My wife and I have returned twice since posting the review below. I wanted to just add that the fried chicken dinners are very consistent. The sides all came out fresh and HOT. Our server, Bri, is just tops. She's very professional, attentive, and just completes and rounds out our dining experience. She checked on us often but was not intrusive, and she kept our beverages topped off. All though I did not notice any staff members who seemed unmotivated, but request Bri to be your server, you will not be disappointed with any aspects of your Crusoe's dining experience.

The chicken was delicious, the corn was great, but the mashed potatoes and the gravy, did I mention the gravy? The gravy was the best white country gravy, next to my wife's, that I have ever had. In fact, they offered up a side of gravy when ordering the chicken. I didn't quite get it, but I said yes! When I dipped my chicken into the gravy, I GOT IT, and you might want to also. Great meal!

This place is a lot of fun for lunch on Sunday! Jenny the bartender is so sweet and cares about the food and service. She even shared ideas with me on ordering. The food was better than expected, pork chops they grilled for me and wings spiced just right. We’ll come back!!

The group meeting (22+ members) was handled well. They actually had two groups meeting in different rooms. Food came quickly and the server check in frequently, but quietly.

This was for my dad's 70th birthday and everything was just the food was delicious the service was excellent 👍 and everybody had a great time

Went in on a Friday afternoon was seated right away. Wasnt too crowded at all. We ordered the pretzels an dip. Was DELICIOUS wish we would've ordered 2 lol. Our waiter was on point with refills of our sodas never had to ask. Ordered the American bacon cheeseburger was delicious again. Live in creve coeur will definitely be back. Also love the one in the city. ALWAYS DELICIOUS FOOD ♥

I hosted an event here in the private room for about 55 people. The servers were AWESOME and the manager was great to work with. The whole thing went off without a hitch! Doesn't hurt that they have awesome food and a huge bar connected to the restaurant. I love this place and will definitely be coming back often! Thank you John, Brianna, and Aaron for a great experience.

We had a group of 30 people for a private party, Crusoes went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for the occasion, Food was Fabulous and the Staff was Delightful! Couldn't have asked for a better time with family and friends and Crusoes made it all possible. Thank you all so much for all that you do.

Always, always, always a pleasure coming here. This was my very first restaurant I ate indoors in over a year. All safety protocols were in place. The food was superb, as always. The gentleman who served us was very professional and upbeat. I always love coming here and they still never skipped a beat of excellent service even during this "pandemic".

Went today for my 82 birthday w/ family. We were all pleased with the food, the service, prices, the friendliness and the way the owner and employees worked with us. I even got a slice of cheesecake to take home. Happy Birthday to me!! We'll be back!

I had my husbands 50th there. The waiter was so good. We were moving all over and remembered who ordered what. Super nice young man. Food was great.

Didn't have plans on a Sunday and on a whim went there for dinner. Had the fried chicken with the tomatoe and smoke guda soup. It was great. And the waitress was awesome. Try the trash chicken wings too. They will change your life.

Great food, great patio, and great lunch specials. Good drinks too. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

AMAZING burgers! Cooked to order, huge, and grill charred so amazinlgy! Staff is wonderful!

Waitress was prompt and checked on us regularly. The mushrooms Swiss burger was great! Loved the sweet potato fries too!

I have been coming here for years. ( McDonald's used to be there!) Lots of memories and parties there! Amazing place. Good food, great place to just grab dinner with friends and catch up they don't try and rush you out.

Crusoe's express lunch can't be beat. It runs from 11am-4pm, and the options are great. We usually get the French dip and a fried chicken sandwich smothered in buffalo sauce. Also, ask for fries with nacho cheese for dipping. Yum!
