Flying Burger & Seafood

I have been all over America, and the gumbo here is the best I ever had. The burgers large and in charge, and lots of food for your money.

Just moved into the area and this is my number one dinner spot for date night, family nights, or just a lunch getaway.

The workers are very nice, place is clean, and the food comes fast. Don't be surprised when one of the workers come to your table to make sure everything is going good and checking on your experience.

What a gem! The staff was super helpful guiding me through what items are or can be made gluten free. Ended up with the fish and shrimp basket, which was fantastic. Husband and daughter both gave the burgers two thumbs up. Oh, and the fries are absolutely addictive!!

Pass by any of the chain restaurants nearby and head straight to Flying Burger ... You will not regret it.

This place is really great, both with food and service. First off I’ve been to multiple Flying Burger Locations and this one has always been the best when it comes to consistency and service. I think the food rates really good, I can definitely recommend their burgers and if you’re in the mood for dessert the cinnamon rolls. Other people I have come here with have said good things about their fish and the fish tacos although they did not recommend the gumbo. I have been here dozens of times and even become somewhat aquatinted with the front of house staff. They are very nice and the few times anything has been amiss they have gone above and beyond to make it right sometimes to some extreme extents. I would 100% recommend this place if the menue interests you!

The food was amazing and the service was great! We are traveling from California and always like to try new food places and we we definitely enjoyed Flying Burger!

My chicken burger and fries were very good. My husband took the grill Solomon and enjoyed it very much.
They cleaned the picnic table outside for us because we had our dog. The manager came to check and recommended options.

A must stop if you’re passing through this part of Louisiana. It’s family run and you can tell the food was delicious I had a crawfish poor boy which came with fries and hush puppies and I had a single cheeseburger both were spectacular definitely the type of food I was looking for in Louisiana. P.S. the owner was the sweetest most friendly person I’ve encountered on the road yet.

I visited here for the first time and it was amazing! The food quality was beyond my expectations! The service was excellent! The cashiers were so kind and friendly. Although it’s an hour away from my location I will definitely be back as often as possible.

We stumbled across the restaurant last year on vacation, and we enjoyed it so much that we decided when we were coming through again, we had to stop. Food was delicious, a service was super, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

TECH is out for the holidays, so the restaurant was not crowded. Food came out in timely manner, hot and delicious. Large selection of sides. They gladly let me swap out fries for fried okra. It is counter-service and you bus your own table. Nice sauce and drink station. Streamlined and efficient. Cheerful throwback atmosphere!

Food was great, fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was fast and the staff are knowledgeable and polite. My first time there and I will be back ! Amazing sweet tea and fresh lemons.

We were driving on Thanksgiving night on a long road trip. We didn’t get to eat here because they were closed but we were met at the door by a gentleman I can only assume was the owner or manager. He tried to help me find good options close by and even invited us inside to share their family thanksgiving meal with them. It was exceptionally nice of him to offer, but we didn’t want to impose. Just came on here to say that I was appreciative of the kindness.

Delicious food and really nice staff. I'm trying to be good so I'm ashamed to admit I ate a salad at a burger joint. The salad was delicious, though, I love the staff, they're very nice.

Yummy Yummy so good. I been here for two months now and I like living in Ruston Louisiana. I love the fries here too. It was so good. Nice place to dine in with everyone. It very at home too. Its a place like you know everyone. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to to eat lunch here. I will be back again.

We came with friends after working together. The first time for us being new to the area. IT IS AWESOME. The people polite and clean, the manager came to the table to greet us, The menu amazing. The food awesome. Thank you. We will be back.

Great place to grab a burger! Really good food. They get busy so get there early. Double cheeseburger & fries is a lot. Friendly service. Spacious place inside & outside seating. A must eat if you are in the area.

Great seafood, fish and burger options! They also sell sweet tea and lemonade by the gallon. Plenty of seating!

Really good burgers and seafood, hand cut fries and grilled salmon and vegetables plus Blue Bell ice cream to top off your meal. A favorite with college students, families with kids (pirate hats!), couples, everyone! Spacious dining room and convenient parking. Close to interstate and La Tech campus. Order at the counter and seat yourself, also has take out available for lunch and dinner.

Great food..big portions. Friendly service. Plenty of seating. Clean and spacious restrooms that are well vented. We stopped here on our way through Louisiana as it seemed like a good place to stop and eat in. So glad we did because now it's a favorite spot for us to stop and eat when we travel through the area. Definitely recommend.

Great local restaurant in Ruston to take the family. They are accommodating for food allergies and Celiac friendly. I eat here often and have never gotten sick. I am super sensitive to cross contamination so the kitchen staff is happy to switch gloves and be extra cautious when preparing my meal.
