Beyond Sweet Kitchen + Bar

The atmosphere is inviting. The golden chandeliers added an elegant vibe. We had reservations and were seated immediately by taking a flight of steps up to the second floor. We were greeted shortly thereafter by our waiter, Darius. He had a personality that was very welcoming and he gave us exceptional service. The owner stopped by to check on us and ask how things were as well. Food and drinks were on point! We had spiked lemonade and cotton candy martini. Bird by the pound with truffle fries & a side of dirty rice. Along with salmon over a marinade with asparagus and garlic mash taters. I'd recommend this place for sure!

I live in Houston, TX and restaurants are big on food presentation and ambience. Beyond Sweet Kitchen + Bar definitely met those expectations! There wasn’t a lot of food, especially for the price I paid, but it was delicious.

The only con I had was with the seating, I arrived exactly at 5pm when they opened and there was only a handful of people eating there. I was informed I could only sit at the bar due to everything was reserved. After sitting at the bar, buying food/drinks and spending over $300 for nearly 2 hours I was advised that I actually could sit at a table. But then it was too late.

Sitting at the bar was actually the best part of the dining experience. The bartenders were all cool, cracking jokes, very attentive and the drinks were 10/10! Next time I come back, I’ll just go straight to the bar.

We visited from Atlanta. So glad we found this spot on TikTok. Then looked it up in Google. We were pleased with everything! The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly. The music was good. It’s a vibe!

First and foremost, the ambiance is to die for! Laid back & relaxed setting but still upscale and top notch at the same time! The food was delicious - seasoned to perfection! It leaves you wanting more!!! Everything from the salmon bites and truffle fries! The Cajun pasta and salmon! We loved it so much! Easy 10/10!

I gave the service a 4/5 because they had some issues with tickets being mixed up, and technology not working properly, which caused us to wait an hour for our food. It would have been nice to know that information while we were waiting. But other than that, no complaints! It was really delicious! The servers were apologetic and very nice about it when they came out with the food but again, the food was delicious, the music was nice and the space is gorgeous! We definitely plan to return! Give it a try for sure!

My partner and I tried out this place on a Thursday during lunch hours. I had made our reservations a week in advance, as at the time the restaurant was still reservation only. There was an error on the open table website as far as time availability. Staff contacted me two days prior to my reservation in order to straighten it out and gave me the option of a new time slot.

Day of reservation we were running behind 😩. Called ahead and they still guaranteed our table for us. The hostess was friendly. The main floor was bright from the natural light coming through the windows. Music plays in the background. I’m hard of hearing so music totally drowns out voices for me, but fortunately i had my partner there doing most of the listening and talking. Though I couldn’t here him our waiter did check on us multiple times and kept a smile. Nestled in the corner you could see that they had extra umbrellas for rainy days. They also offer purse stools for the lady’s which is a beautiful touch. Not having even ordered food yet and the service was immaculate.

They have a large drink menu. And many options available on the food menu as well. My FAVORITE thing about the food is that they brought out each dish as it was prepared. No hoarding the dishes until they’re all done risking some of the plates getting cold. My partner and I had ordered three separate things so it’s like the food came out in courses. Fresh and hot. We had an order of the jerk wings and truffle fries, catfish po’boy and truffle fries, and the Cajun salmon with a side of asparagus and macaroni. Each dish was cooked to perfection. The salmon was not over done, the asparagus had that crunch but was not underdone, the catfish on the po boy was overflowing. I can only note minor things like the “Cajun” salmon was not seasoned like a Cajun item, and the jerk chicken not jerking. Still we were more than satisfied with our meal.

All in all we will be returning.

Upscale customer Service food and atmosphere. And they have Vegan options!!! We had lunch as a walk in on a Friday. But Call you may need a reservation.Nice music and a bar with very delicious looking drinks I say looking because I didn’t try them this time , But we’ll be back! Five Stars for the first location Ten for y’all second location!!! Highly recommended!! And did I mention They have Vegan options!

Wish I could give the food a 10! Everything was seasoned to perfection and freshly prepared. . I had the Salmon, asparagus, and mash! Chefs’ Kiss! Atmosphere, service, and the food were SUPERB! Drinks AMAZING! HIGHLY recommend. 10/10

I love this restaurant!!! My new spot fr. I love Cajun spices and they have hit it on the nail! The jerk shrimp and grits were delicious. The Ocean Alfredo was awesome and filling. Way to go Beyond and thanks for the great service 😊

The food and drinks were amazing. The owner Dallas is wonderful, and made sure our experience was welcoming, and enjoyable. The place is beautiful. I loved the music, and the staff went above, and beyond.

I visited Saturday March 2, 2024 and the food was great!!! I had Red Snapper, I would definitely go back.

It’s a vibe!!! Great decor, food and service! I went on 314 day and the Red hot ripplet wings were only $3.14. I ordered the salmon bites and margarita flights which were perfect! Also, the owner greeted us and the staff sang Happy Birthday to my cousin. Not to mention the Photo Booth! I’m definitely going back!

This new restaurant is a must try! They had only been open 5 days when I went. I am pleasantly surprised at my overall experience. The ambiance, customer service, and food exceeded my expectations. Even the owner came to our table to see how everything was going. I love how the staff communicated the bar was behind and they were working to get drinks out as soon as possible. My grilled cheese burger was so good. I added tomatoes and raw red onions. It came with truffle fries, which were fine. I can't wait to go back to try the beef short ribs. I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy and inviting ambience of the place. The decor was tasteful and modern, with just the right amount of lighting to create a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Nowwww the REAL star of the show was the food. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the entrees, every bite was a delight for the senses.

Jasmine (our waitress) was very friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring that each and every customer had a wonderful experience. From the moment we were seated, we were made to feel welcome and valued, and the service throughout the meal was impeccable.

Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines outstanding food, a welcoming ambience, and exceptional customer service, this is the place to go.

Very nice upscale date night spot!! Environment and decor is very welcoming and appealing. Ayanna, our server was amazing! Food and drinks were phenomenal! Don Julio Rep margarita (peach flavor) was beyond good! Def will be back! General manager and another woman whom I believe was the owner were very gracious women!

The atmosphere had a great vibe! I was greeted with a pleasant welcome and smile. The people were professional but personable. The food was AWESOME!! From presentation to flavor and the portions. I was very pleased with my overall visit. Will definitely be going back.

I took my mom on 12/22/23. The experience was great. The server was very nice and resourceful. The food came out hot and fresh. I had The catfish po boy which was made fresh and good. My mom got the henssey wings they were good also. The owner came and created us and was very personable and informative. It was a great experience!

Beyond Sweet is an amazing restaurant with a great atmosphere. This is such a different vibe from anything we currently have in STL. Beyond Sweet is both sophisticated and fun. I have been here 4 times in less than a month and the service and quality of food and drinks are unmatched. Don’t hesitate to book your reservation.

Dined there this past Saturday and EVERYTHING was amazing!!!! Food, drinks, service, and most of all the ambiance. If you’re looking for a classy date night spot or a dinner date out with friends this is definitely the place to go. Dallas did an amazing job opening such a classy restaurant for St Louis to enjoy. This place is a 10/10!
