Here’s what happened, I got hit and ran on, and needed help ASAP..I found this place right off the highway and was greeted by the most friendly manager Drew. He guided me patiently on what my vehicle needed. They did an amazing job and helped me get out of the door quickly and economically!! I will never go anywhere else besides 55tire and auto..they are some of the most honest guys around and will be my go to place from here on out!

My husband and I were in the area for a Dr appointment when we blew a tire we called this place and the front man Jim answered the phone and was very polite and professional had no idea we weren't from the area but still gave us top priority and tried to help asap did not have my tire in stock by was quick to offer to order me one that could be in within a few hours and told me he would call me as soon as it was in. He called me as soon as he had his hands on it, when we got there he got us in right away no wait even showed us what was in the tire (apparently we ran over a brake pad and it went in through the back sidewall of my tire). This place was fantastic highly recommend them thank you Jim and the team of 55 tires and service! Greatly appreciate you getting us in and back on the road heading home!!!!!

They do great work! Very efficient, explanatory, understanding, and patient!! Not only do they do the service you asked for, but they also let you know of the other things they see that may need to be addressed, and the severity of when they should be done. It was awesome because, I had a tire issue on the way to a job, and when I told them what I needed, and they told me the time they would be able to get me in. I asked if they could call me, and I could bring my truck back, in that time, to which they obliged. Well , they called me when they could fit me in, but I ended up getting caught up at the job and couldn't get back in the allotted time (around 10am). So, I decided to pull up as soon as I could (around 3pm), expecting them to tell me I missed my appointment, and there's nothing they could do for me. Instead the gentleman asked, "You ready to go ahead, and get that done??", and got me taken care of, without hesitation!! Would most definitely recommend them to any and everyone!!

I have been coming here for years but have not had to since my two cars are newer. However my older pickup needed some attention, so I brought it in. Jim was easy to work with and got me in and was able to take care of my truck. Jeremy was also great; he went out of his way to make sure the truck was working correctly before they had me pick it up. Awesome Service !!!

The teamwork here is awesome! They were able to put new tires on our RV last minute as we passed through St Louis. Jim was very professional in communicating cost and progress throughout the day. Paid way less than anticipated and they were done by noon!

I had a flat. Jim and the team at 55 Tire had what I needed in stock and were able to get my car in and two new tires put on in less than an hour. Even got my state inspection done! And they are the nicest guys,! As a woman, I felt comfortable having these guys take care of my vehicle!

These guys are great. I drive a ton of miles and my van requires a great deal of maintenance. The owner and his son are honest and straight forward, unlike some other tire and service companies in town. Each time I have taken my van to them for new tires, oil change, or general maintenance, I leave feeling totally satisfied with my service.

I took my car in this morning on March 5 2022 .Dennis was the employee that had help me .I came to him with some breake problems and really wasn't sure what was wrong with my car but I have taken my car there several times over the last 3 years..I informed Dennis that I was struggling with money and let me know what he could do for me. Dennis really went out of his way for Mr and I just wanted to say thank you for looking out for me. I know know I will be bringing my car in for now my cars purring and I'm so happy. So thank ypu Denbis and staff for taking care of me I truly appreciate what you guys did .

55 Tire and Service came recommended by a buddy so I gave it a shot. I feel it's always tough to find a good car place, but this place did a great job. Scheduling was a piece of cake and they got us in really fast (also completed the work really fast), price was BY FAR the best around, and they only recommended a few things else be done, all of which were 100% needed (which I had them do because they had already saved me so much). I'll for sure be going for any of my vehicle needs.

I had a low tire and could hear the air rushing out as I was trying to air up. I was almost two hours from home and it was almost 5 o’clock. I called 55 Tires & Service and they told me to come in. I am so grateful! The owner took my car back right away and had me back on the road within 30 minutes. He showed me what caused the leaky tire and replaced it with a similar one. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you so much!!

01/28/2021 - New entry - I want to take the time to reiterate how impressed my family has been with Dennis and his team! Our cars are older, and need a little more care now, and Dennis cares about that. He takes care of our cars, and is always far. He fixes what needs to be fixed. Give 55 Tire a try.

I finally found a good repair shop! Dennis and his team work hard to take care of customers and their vehicles. 55 Tire and Service mechanics are thorough, fix it right the first time and charge a fair price for their excellent work. Thank you, Dennis and team!

This was the best experience on one of the worst, hectic days to date. Friendly, patient, and professional individuals. I have found my new car care service providers.

I had to replace two tires on Black Friday so I could get home from Thanksgiving travels. I dropped my car off without an appointment and they told me it would be a couple hours. They called me 20 minutes later and said they were done. I was impressed! The car drives perfectly!

This is the only place I take my car. I trust them to tell me what needs to be done for a good price. They don't try to take advantage of people and rip you off. Everyone there is great and they do great work. This place deserves a 6/5 stars.

I have grown to trust these guys and I really appreciate it. I was quoted $982 from Meineke (near my work) for an air compressor and Route 66 tire and auto repair got my AC back working for $335. Grateful!

Staff was super nice. Even took me into the shop to show me the tire difference. I would highly recommend for used tires.

I had an accident and I brought my car to 55 Tire on Butler Hill. After I got my car back the brakes squeaked I took I back twice and they did not fix it. The insurance company had paid for it so I called them. The insurance company did not want to pay any more money so I took it to another mechanic for a diagnostic. They couldn't find anything causing the squeak, yet they said I needed a tie rod and a wheel alignment. These are the thing 55 charged the insurance company for. I took money out of my pocket, because I had to get it done. I called the BBB and 55 said to the BBB I needed to contact my insurance company. 12/6/19
Thank God this story has a happy ending. 55 Tire and Service gave me a free brake job, and reimbursed me for all of my out of pocket expenses. The issue has been resolved and i am 100% satisfied. Thank you Dennis.
