The omelets here are one of a kind!! Love the leftovers we have from 2 meals. My bf & I dinned in yesterday afternoon. Our waitress was very sweet and excited about what we ordered- too cute!! She said this is exactly what she would’ve ordered herself :)

Small family diner that gets it right. Prices incredibly reasonable for all the food you get and the food was delicious too!

In my top 5 places for a family diner/restaurant. The service is impeccable, I wish every place could clone these workers and have them in their restaurant. Everyone is super friendly and fast. Food tastes great and comes out fast. I'll always come here when in the area. Must visit if in eau claire.

Service is always good, each time our server was quick with refills and anytime they'd walk by would ask if we needed/wanted anything else. Everytime we've gone the food has been delicious. I highly recommend trying the stuffed French toast or the stuffed Belgian waffles - you won't leave disappointed or hungry! 🥞🧇

Amazing! Eat Here! Stopped by for dinner on the way to Chicago. I had the chicken strips skillet and it was outstanding. The Belgian waffles were amazing as was the stuffed french toast. We also had to get a side order of fries because they looked so good and THEY WERE!

Steak for breakfast 😋 seems to be harder and harder to find now days. But this is the place. If your looking for steak and eggs for breakfast. Service is always fast and welcoming. Food comes out soon after order is taken. One of my husband's favorite restaurants.

Delicious!!!! I had the Stuffed French Toast with strawberries and cream cheese filling - it was DELISH!! Everybody had food envy. I ordered sausage patty as a side but that was pretty basic. Someone else in my party ordered the Belgian Waffles with strawberries (whip cream left off) and another ordered the Chicken Finger Skillet. Service was great, seated right away and prices were acceptable. I'd definitely go again....and get the stuffed french toast!

Love this place. Always fast service, the food is very good, and servers always ask if we need anything else and how the food is. If it's too our expectations.

Crazy busy line out the door. They were fast and efficient at turning over tables without making it seem rushed. Everyone was happy with their food. Water glasses and coffee were never in short supply. Get the chicken and dumpling soup to start. You will be happy you did.

So good! Place was very busy, which is always a good sign. However, they turned tables over so fast it was unbelievable. Food was great!

Best Chicken & Dumpling soup ever! Wish I had the recipe!!! I also had the chicken stir fry sooo delicious! Six of us ate here and everything we ordered was amazing! When u walk in to eat it is such a warm, comfortable atmosphere! Some places are so cold inside that u have to keep your coat on while u eat! Not Altoona Family restaurant, it was nice & warm!🤗The employees are so kind & very helpful! Everyone enjoyed the Oreo Pie also! Sooo yummy!😋 Can't wait to try the cheesecake!!! Home made food! We had the special Swedish Meatballs and the liver with onions and bacon. The creamy broccoli soup was delicious! Everyone was so friendly! Definitely will be back!

REALLY good eggs Benedict, some of the best I've had. Busy but that's to be expected.

Excellent food and service. Came here for the second time while passing through on a trip. We are thoroughly impressed. Very fluffy omelets, delicious bacon, light, fluffy pancakes and some of the best hash browns we've had. They are very family friendly as well!

This really is an outstanding restaurant. The food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and worked as a team. I really enjoyed it. Breakfast is always available and well worth it. One afternoon I was here for dinner and had liver and onions. They were also very very good. Superb restaurant. I will definitely be back.

Very nice local family style restaurant. Breakfasts are delicious with a bit of unique additions. Potato pancakes, excellent waffles with fruit. Very popular locally. Service quick, owners friendly, with high work ethic.

Awesome experience! We were visiting Eau Claire and looking for a good place for breakfast. The service was outstanding. Friendly and SO fast. The portions were generous and everything was fresh and delicious. Absolutely recommend!

We stopped after driving all day and wanted comfort food what we also got was good service with a good atmosphere. Food was amazing. Will be back

I’ve been here twice now and the food and service have been incredible! They are always packed, but some how manage to have super short wait times! Both times we walked in and got seated immediately. Definitely a must-visit breakfast place!!

The French toast is simply phenomenal. With 2 eggs and bacon cooked to order (not sure what's up with you crispy bacon peeps! 😂🤣), It was a *great* meal!

We also got a vegetarian egg white omelette that we loved. The raisin toast was a perfect compliment.

Finally, both the service and ownership were sooooooooo kind. WE misread something on the menu, and when we needed to fix it, we told them we would happily pay for OUR mistake, and they refused to charge us to fix it.
