Big L Chop Suey

Very inexpensive but the reason is that the food is vegetable heavy. Food is still very good and if you're a veggie fan, probably the best place in town.

I'm an out of towner but the St Paul Sandwich was good. I can't compare it to whatever the St Louis standard is though.

I order take out from here for years now. I never had an issue here. I got a combination plate of fried chicken and a half order of chicken lo mein with no vegetables. Pretty filling.

Great vegetable fried rice! Broccoli was still crisp and the rice isn't too greasy like a lot of STL spots. Crab Rangoon is good, could be slightly sweeter for my own tasting but is a nice size and fresh. Overall: a yummy and reasonably priced meal. There might be a line! But it's worth the wait.

St Paul sandwich here is delicious. They have good fried rice too. I often go here to buy fried rice and feed the homeless people near by. The prices are very reasonable. Good spot

Best and freshest fried rice and lo mien in the Lou but the entire menu is popping! I been going to this joint for years, and this one is highly recommend over all the other Chinese restaurants in the area. They get your order right every time and never disappoint on portions or price!

Got the hunan chicken combination plate. Very filling, very delicious, and very affordable.

If you're on the north side inn on natural bridge this is the place to go to get your Chinese food

Gentleman behind the counter is wonderful food is great no complaints. If it’s your first time here he will go as slow as you need while ordering. If it’s your second time back he will more than likely remember your order.

This place has been a restaurant of choice for me and my family for decades! That says a lot about the quality of the food and the service. It can be pretty busy on Sunday, [yes I said Sunday!] but that just means you should go in to order instead of call. Another great thing about Big L's is that they offer catering size food offerings if needed so be sure to check them out for your next party, get together or just Sunday dinner!

The gentleman that takes the orders is so friendly. Even when I'm in just ordering for myself he always remembers that I have 5 kids and he throws extra fortune cookies for the kids. I would highly recommend this place! And they're even open on Sundays I would give them 10 Stars!

Great Service! This was my first time trying Big L’s and I have to say I am impressed by the way they treat their customers. They treat people like family. The food is good and place is clean.

Crab Rangoon with actual *heft*, like there's something to them. Duck leg so good I remembered why I love duck. There's more here than Chop Suey.

We always order the duck and steamed rice with extra onions, juice and two duck legs. Its always hot, good and it hits the spot. Affordable food !! When you don't feel like cooking.

The Fried Rice is good here

Been a while since I had been there since I no longer work in the area. Food was as great as I remembered. Staff workers are awesome.

The manager must live here. Never is he absent in my three years eating there.
