Bastin Roofing

First, the work is not done, but these guys are the most impressive contracting company I have ever worked with and feel like ever will work with. Anytime hail came through the neighbourhood, the vultures come out, Your roof this, your siding this, and at first I didnt see Bastin as anything different, but when I started working with Kirk, and James I quickly changed my tune. The first day Kirk came to see the roof, he noticed some cracks in the shingles where the hail had broken through and he did a quick seal on it to prevent it from leaking. Kirk owns the company, and has teams that actually do the work, the team that worked on my house was led by James and his team. I was under an unbelievable set of circumstances, because I had buyers in the house the day the house was damaged and they wanted the house but wanted all the repairs done prior to closing. The hail damaged happened on 3/14, State Farm came out on 23rd and James started work on 4/1. I have 37 solar panels on my house, Their team got the panels off the house on Monday, Tuesday and this was absolutely insane, the dumpster showed up at 7 and before Noon there was brand new roof on the house. My house is a 2500 SQ FT Ranch. There were no less than 9 people working on the roof. I have never seen anything like it, let alone heard of anything like it. Wed, the gutter guy started, Solar started to go back on the house Thursday and gutters and Solar were done on Friday. Siding was damaged too and the disappointing aspect of this review, the siding had to be special ordered which put it 5 weeks out. I firmly believe if the siding had been readily available, it would have been done the same week. In business, time is money, and trust me when I tell you Kirk understands that based on what I witnessed. Because of the timeline I was under an unbelievable amount of stress to get the work done to sell the house and get the repairs done, I was absolutely ruthless to Kirk and James, and they took it like champs, Im certain James wanted kick my butt more than once, but he never wavered in his professionalism and neither did Kirk. If you ever need any company to do repairs on your home, roof, siding, anything, you would be doing yourself a massive disservice, by not using Bastin Roofing. Having owned my own business and worked with hundreds more, there are a lot of companies who could learn from their example of work ethics, professionalism, quality, and even price. I want to add, when selecting a company for repairs like this, personality compatibility is everything and you need to make sure you are compatible with whomever you are working with. I firmly believe most people should be able to work with Kirk and James, I can be an extremely difficult customer because my standards are set extremely high, so for me to write this review and offer praise for Kirk and James and their company, it is well deserved.

I couldn’t ask for a better experience!! The crew was prompt and professional. Kirk explained the whole process and timeline. The roof and gutters look great! I have recommended Bastin Roofing to several people. An honest guy with integrity that does a great job and backs his work.

Bastin Roofing are the ones to go with! Kirk, the owner, has the personality of a family friend. Roof is beautiful, he has a hard working team of workers. Spreading the word to my friends who are shopping for a new roof. Thank you, Kirk, job well done!

Our home was hit by a massive hail storm in September of '23. Having never experienced something like this, I was kind of lost on where to begin...and my husband was going to be out of town for an extended business trip, so I felt very overwhelmed. I am so grateful that we went with Kirk Bastin from Bastin Roofing. He was so knowledgeable about every aspect of my situation from damages, claims and even next steps. All American labor with a company in business since 1995 speaks volumes for a locally owned company, but so does customer service, and Kirk went above and beyond to help.
He came out and met my insurance adjuster with me and pointed out several items that needed repair that may have been missed if I met with the adjuster on my own.
He walked me through everything and happily answered all of my questions from roofing, claim info and even recs on other contractors for the rest of my home. He even brought out an extra Roofing sample when I got cold feet on moving forward with my original choice.
His crew started and ended right on time as he stated and were so kind and polite to me and all of my children as we were coming and going throughout the day.
My roof looks amazing and I feel so secure knowing that our home was taken care of by an honest and quality professional.

Support your local companies. Bastin went out of their way to help with my roof and siding. Was easy to get ahold of and even helped me fix small end jobs while they were there. They went above and beyond. Also love the fact that if I need anything they are local and I can just give them a call. I definitely would recommend them and use them again.

Owner came out himself to complete a fairly minor quick repair. Called me back after missing my phone call. Definitely will call him back in the future.

Kirk and his team did an excellent job hooking me up with a brand new roof and taking down two old chimneys. Needed some additional soffit/fascia work done on a dormer, gave me a reasonable bid to knock that out in the same run of work and very pleased with the results.

I will continue to work with this team for any similar work in the future. Great final quality of work.

Basting Roofing did not provide good service, they provided EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! We couldn't be happier! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BASTIN ROOFING! They did the facsia and soffit as well and it looks like a new house. They were extremely professional, excellent communication, timely work done RIGHT, for a fair price. I obtained multiple bids and met multiple people before choosing Bastin Roofing. The owner came to do the bid and answered every question I had, and I had a lot. He offered information that I hadn't thought about as I am a novice to this process. They did a complete cleanup afterwards as if no one had been there. You can't go wrong with Bastin Roofing!

My son was selling his house & we had to put a new roof on it. Mr. Bastin's roofers did an excellent job! It was a smooth process. Even the buyer's home inspector commented on the quality of the installation. I liked the fact that his roofers were not subcontractors but are employed year round by Bastin Roofing. Great experience.

We had our roof replaced by Bastin and they did an excellent job. The bid was also lower than the other 2 estimates. Our son also used them back in Dec. 2019 with the same great results.
