Don Emiliano's Restaurante Mexicano

Ask for the vegan menu and the food is delicious. My favorite taco is the fried avocado. Unfortunately the horchata isn’t vegan. If you want more authentic Mexican food but are vegan, you will not be disappointed with Don Emilianos.
And the sopapilla has legit vegan ice cream, and chocolate!!!

Nice casual Mexican restaurant. We became customers after their introduction of Vegan Monday and will certainly be returning. We visited for lunch in a Wednesday to see how much of the Vegan many extends during the week. There was a good selection although not the full Vegan Monday selection since they do not see enough demand to have some of those items ready. The owner has taken big efforts to make sure vegan items are prepared in a separate area of kitchen to avoid cross contamination and has also taken to changing to-do containers to more sustainable ones.

Now finally getting to the food. We tried the Vegan fajitas and normal quesadillas, both were fantastic! The fajitas have more than your standard vegi to make up for no meats and was cook just right. The quesadilla was a tab pricey but ended up being more than could be eaten so the price was justified since 2 meals were to be had of it. We had the fried ice cream to wrap thing up and that was so rich and creamy that it was gone in a blink of an eye. If you are looking for something new to try and they are different diets in your party thus us surely a place you will want to try. The atmosphere is great the place is clean and the owner certainly makes you feel welcome. Happy eating.

Had a good time enjoying authentic Mexican food with my family. Margarita tasted high quality and home made as well as the horchatas. Ordered the house fajitas and was not disappointed. Daughter could not stop raving about the vegan Portobello mushroom tacos.

This is my first time coming to this restaurant and I’m impressed. I love the fact they have a vegan menu and vegan dessert. I tried the veggie burrito it was plentiful and left me full. I will definitely come back to try the tacos and Mexican street corn. 😁😁

Came in got a seat right away. I got the steak chimichanga and chicken and it was delicious. I ordered and it was ready with in 5 minutes i know its fast but it tasted amazing salsa needs a little bit more spice to it

Always love stopping in at Don Emiliano's... they offer a variety of vegan options! Always fast and friendly service here! (The vegan fried ice cream is soooo good!)

This place is great! Lots of food and drink choices. *Definitely* try the cheese salsa. Wow. If you really want to party, check out the Molcajete. That thing is a work of art and enough food for two meals. I'll be back for sure.

I love this place. Great Mexican food, but, the thing I really love: my wife and I are vegan, and Don Emiliano's has a vegan menu. You have to ask for it. They have a nice variety of vegan meals and desserts. They are delicious and generous and beautiful. Most places' idea of a vegan option is usually a salad, but, Don Emiliano's has real satisfying meals. My kids, who are not strictly vegan, love their traditional cuisine, as well.

I do not eat animal products; my wife does. We both enjoy this restaurant immensely. The fact that they offer a full vegan menu is wonderful! There aren't too many restaurants in the area at which we're both eager to eat!

I was very impressed they had vegan appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The fried vegan I cream was my favorite!

I also had the chicken chimichanga. I was a little disappointed it only had chicken in it. I was expecting it to be seasoned a little more with some veggies or something else inside.

I will likely be back though. This is a great place to eat out with non-vegan friends.

Don's has always been my favorite place for Mexican food, and they have always had great options for vegetarians. But now they have an entire vegan menu complete with meat substitutes. I had the nachos with chorizo crumbles and it was absolutely fantastic. Don's will always be my first choice. And the salsa and chips are always great!

First time visit after driving by many times. Post about plant bases menu on Monday’s piqued our interest as it’s hard to find plant based (vegan) menu items anywhere. Could not have been more pleasantly surprised! There is a whole plant based food menu, the ambience is 100% authentic Mexico (we just got back from Cancun and it was like we hadn’t left), our server was friendly, fun and knowledgeable, the margaritas are huge (32 oz if you want a great time) and tasty, and the food was excellent! I particularly liked the vegetable taco and the ‘chicken’ taco. Creamy guacamole with zip. We will be going back to try everything else on the menu. Delicious, close, affordable and fun.

Great Mexican food. Everything tastes fresh and the salsa is very good. I have been a few times and I will not go to any other Mexican food restaurant in the area. The staff is great and has a very friendly atmosphere. If you really love Mexican food this is the place to go! There is another place close by that seems to be very popular and I did not like their food at all. Don Emiliano's seems to have taken better care in the ingredients they use and how they cook their food. I have taken several people here and they all have really enjoyed the food and said it's some of the best they have. It's very hard to find a good quality Mexican food place in the Midwest. I am glad I gave this place a try! So should you!

The vegan food was INCREDIBLE! It's so nice to have a place supporting vegans in St. Charles County. However I almost want to hold off 1 star because the margarita I got tasted as if there was no tequila in it. Otherwise everything was perfect, especially the desserts!

Me and my wife drive past this place all the time and one day we decided to try it. We both are very impressed. My wife is a chef from Columbia and said the street tacos are some of the best she's ever had. The food is always fresh and waiter is awesome and it's nice to be remembered and his advice on what to get next is spot on. I tell everyone to try this place cause it's one of those hidden gems in the city! Awesome food!!!

Great atmosphere. A large plant based menu that has something for everyone. The fried avocado taco was very good. Also really enjoyed the fried icecream. Get birthday treat for my wife. Quick service very reasonably priced.

Ahhhmazing host. Fantastic food. Owners are right there serving and cooking sometimes. And very smooth tequila. Love it.

I absolutely love this restaurant! They have the best Mexican food in all of St. Louis. They can make any item on the menu vegan too. The owner is also a very nice and friendly man. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and I enjoy dinning in. Go try it!
