Glenda's Sweet Shoppe & Grille

Excellent little small town grub spot. I ate the 2 chilli dog special for 6 bucks, fries and drink included. Rest room is very clean, and they have outside hand washing area (as well as one inside the bathroom too). Nice, friendly, nostalgic vibe.

The only place left in this area to get a real banana split. I can drive to Dunn from Benson and it's still intact not melted or sloppy. The customer service is always great!!!

Delicious milkshakes. This was just my first time going but the staff were incredibly nice and the cappuccino crunch milkshake is delicious. They aren’t shy with toppings and prices are great. I’ll be back for sure for another milkshake and just this experience makes me want to go back for the food! I also fully appreciate the floor signs encouraging social distancing. Too funny.

Update: I've now had the cheeseburger and fries! You can get them with a variety of fixings and it's SO GOOD! If you're in Benson, do yourself a favor and take your money to Glenda's and leave McDonald's in the past. The burgers and fries are so much better. They're like old school soda shop burgers. I went on probably a not too busy of a time or day so the service was super fast but I would imagine if you're in a rush, CALL AHEAD! The phones were ringing and the staff were super responsive with answering. I promise you'll have a way better experience than going to a fast food place. And let's be honest, you'll probably save money too. 5/5 WILL GO AGAIN!

Love the Ice Cream here. It is fantastic and is at an affordable price. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The only down fall I would say is there Drive way. It needs some repairs and the drive through does not allow for many to pull up. The ice cream, staff, and price truly make up for it though.

OMG! What a fun discovery! We had hotdogs, a cheeseburger and tried the veggie soup. The boys also had ice cream. The value is outstanding - a scoop of ice cream is just a little over a dollar!!! They also have chicken sandwiches, salads, and a personal favorite - fried bologna sandwiches! We will be back!! There are picnic tables as well for outside seating. Super-nice staff as well!

I was first introduced to this Glenda's last year when my daughter and I ate there. I was coming through Benson when I said I wanted a hot dog. So, I stopped and ordered the 2 hot dog w/fries and drink combo. It was so good. I had not had a hot dog in a long time. 👍🏼😀👍🏼

Super-cute place with old timey decor and a fun vibe! Clean and well-kept inside. This type of place doesn't usually have many options for vegetarians, but there were definitely some choices. I was able to get a salad, grilled cheese, and fries. My friend enjoyed her cheeseburger and fries! They had some tasty sweet treats too! (But we were too full to partake this time.)

I eat here alot!! My kids and I love their food. I usually get soup and a sandwich...my daughter loves their chili cheese fries...my son it's the hot dogs! Friendly, fast, and reasonably priced.

Really glad we happen to come across this place. We had their ice cream which was really good. We will be going back for more ice cream and taking the family. But, we will also be trying their burgers which looked really good too.

Best fast food in Benson. Their ice cream is also delicious. Children love to eat at Glenda's. Prices are great.

This little hole in the wall was very nice. The food was excellent and the customer service was great too. The menu has great options. Will be returning to try more of the menu.

Food was great the inside seating area has great historical items they have a rather simple menu but everything is very good they have milk shakes that r actually made of real ice cream they r fast and friendly I will be returning very soon

I have never gotten anything bad from here. The other day, I got two hot dogs and a chocolate milkshake and it was absolutely scrumptious. It’s close by, so it’s always an option to go to. There and Pat’s.

Huge portions of ice cream for the price! The antiques and old reciepts used for decoration almost make it a small museum. We enjoyed taking in those just as much as the ice cream. Classic bar hop food with counter service.

Just a bit farther of the highway than the fast food places but so so worth it. The chicken sandwich was great, the staff was really nice and helpful, and the ice cream was delicious.

Love it here the staff are lovely to get along with I love the feeling of the restaurant. I have never seen a restaurant where everyone is literally so nice to you that you feel like you're with family to me Glenda's is the best place to eat in Benson I would recommend that restaurant to anybody and everybody

My wife and I ate a variety of food and it was all great !!! The staff was very friendly and helpful !!! We will be back and I highly recommend Glenda’s to everyone, young and old alike !!! BTW, the banana split is to die for ❤

My wife and love there food so much we eat there every time we are in town. Some time we drive from were we live to eat there and a 45 min drive one way. The workers there make us feel like family
