I felt like I was gonna be leaving a bad review as soon as I saw the brunch and sat down... I ordered from the menu, custom omelet. My food came out perfect. My waitress could not have been any nicer... To be clear, I was tired and not in a good mood either. My food, my service was perfect.

Comfortable surrounds, one good bar with option of breakfast, lunch, dinner, salad and if course, don't forget the free ice cream. P.S. breakfast bar was $10.99.

We really enjoy eating here. They have ALWAYS treated us respectfully. Everyone is friendly and smiling. The buffet food is hot and fresh. And the salad is crisp, cold and fresh. And the food is good. The waitresses are always coming around to see if we need anything or to fill our drinks. Sometimes my husband will order off the menu. He's always been very happy with his food.

We stopped here on the way back from Savannah Georgia it had an excellent birthday and excellent food really good find!

The food and service was very good. My wife and I just ate here for dinner as were passing through states today and our waitress was very nice and friendly and always had a smile when she was helping us and her other tables. Plus the food was actually really good..

We came here for a very late dinner (we got into town late) and within a half hour of them closing. They made us feel welcomed and were extremely nice and even made fresh options for the buffet and didn't rush is eating. Before taking anything out they made sure we didn't want anything else. Definitely will be back.

The food was awesome. Could expand the buffet more choices and the waitress was extremely professionla she was friendly and very attentive... I can't remember her name but we were seated by the bar in the very back she is dark skinned and and slim with a smile that can lite up a room with a short hair cut... It was Saturday Nov 3rd at 730pm...... Great job Shoneys Walterboro... We will be back

I'm going to add this statement to all my reviews and since I've been busy I'm way behind in posting.

First I provide reviews of our experiences just so others will know how the vist went. I don't give good or critical reviews to get something. If things are really unsatisfactory then I'll notify the management, and even if they offer a freebie I'll decline and have done so in those occasions. I comment on quality of food, service, atmosphere, and if necessary cleanliness.

So here we go,...

This is the last of my reviews for our Charleston trip last November (yes I'm late). Earlier on this day we had a horrible experience at a cracker barrel so I could not stomach the the thought of trying another, so we just dropped in on this Shoneys and what a surprise.

The amazingly friendly staff just made our day and the food was much, much better than I expected. I have this location saved and will make a point of making it a regular stopping place. A big thumbs up,..

While traveling we stopped at Walterboro for a room and a meal. The service at Shoneys was wonderful and food good. When we returned to our motel I realized I left my purse hanging on my husband's chair at the restaurant! My husband returned to the restaurant and our servers had retrieved it and kept it safe. Thank you , thank you, thank you!

Great place to eat. Food is excellent. It has gotten a bit pricier but then everything else has to. The service is top-notch. You won't leave disappointed. The owner takes a personal interest in those who visit this restaurant when he is around.

Always enjoy stopping here on our way to Florida. The breakfast bar is packed with our favorite breakfast items. There is usually about 20 of us and the food selection satisfies everyone. Such a great way to get our vacation started with a great breakfast here. Thanks for your southern hospitality and for the excellent food.

Best wings every Monday night

We stayed at a local hotel and walked over for dinner. It was breakfast for dinner buffet! Yay our luck. I was very happy with the mounds of bacon and French toast sticks. Our waitress Deidre was awesome! Super nice. I say if you're hungry stop in and ask for her section. Good food, good people.

We would stop here again. Many selections. Buffet was very good. Food was the right temperature. Great choices. Servers were friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable. Clean restaurant and restrooms.

Incredibly good buffet! Best food from our trip from Maine to Florida. Really! The cook must be congratulated as anyone can put food on a buffet but her cooking was way above professional, clean and exceptionally tasty. Really! My hat is off to her.

It has very good food! They are very nice there, I really think the waitress Jenny is very nice, I was really surprised because it was only her 3rd day there and she new pretty much everything! I am very surprised with how she is and how wonderfully she works!

Friendly staff. We ordered to go and received the order pretty fast and the food was decent Shoney's fare. I would prefer larger pieces of fish on the sandwich, only because it was hard to eat with 3 small nuggets.

Wonderful,my parents are elderly and did not feel like getting out earlier in the day,so when my husband got home from work we all met at shoney's,our favorite place. I'm sure the employees were tired but we were treated as well as if we were the first customers of the day. Fresh food kept coming to the bar and we had a great time. My dad's cancer is back and if this is our last Father's day together,y'all really made it a good one to remember. Thank y'all sincerely,

Stopped here on our way to Charleston. I just had a banana split and decaf coffee! The waitress so pleasant! My 3 friends had their buffet. They raved about it! I had already eaten. My first visit here. & now that I know it's here, I will be back & bring my husband! Everything looked fresh and smelled delish! My banana split was wonderful! I asked the waitress to please remove the carbs! She brought it back & said, "I did what you asked!" Hey, it doesn't get any better than this, right?♡

I had two breakfast buffets, yes it was that good, all you can eat too. So I only paid for one. Hard working, good customer contact, meets delicious taste. Heading back there soon.
