Hampton Inn & Suites Walterboro

This hotel was clean. Let me say it again-really clean. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a king room. Our room had a great layout, and the desk in the room was long enough to hold all of our stuff. There was also a table where one person could eat. The bathroom also had a long shelf. One thing to watch in the bathroom-the shower water takes a few minutes to heat up. Don't panic, it will get there. The breakfast was good and varied. There was a Cracker Barrel that you could walk to. We would stay here again.

Exceptional! We are traveling through on 95 and randomly picked this hotel and were so pleasantly surprised with our stay. We brought our two little dogs and though $75 is crazy for their fee, at least they had multiple areas to walk them around the building and the dog bag stations were filled and grass was mostly poop free which is more than I can say for the other hotels that also charge that. Breakfast was clean and decent (eggs a little weird, but there were lots of other options), but need to specifically mention Darlene! She is who you want greeting you on an early morning. Her genuine spirit made an okay breakfast GREAT. She sang someone a soulful happy birthday and was authentic in asking me about my pregnancy. She stood out, but also all of the staff seemed actually friendly. Nice to get cookies and water bottles in the lobby at night and was conveniently right next to Cracker Barrel. We were there for just over 12 hours, but it made an impression.

I was very impressed with this Hampton Inn. My biggest gripe with average hotels is cleanliness, I reserved a king suite and it was very clean. I definitely recommend it based on the room I had. It's also snuggled beside a cracker barrel so if you're looking for more than a hotel breakfast you can take 10 steps over there.

Exceptional Stay with Amazing Staff

We needed a hotel easily accessible off I-95 to break up a long holiday drive home, and the Hampton Inn in Walterboro is the perfect pit stop. There are a handful of other hotels, but this one was worth the extra splurge.

The comfortable beds, soft sheets, and friendly staff made for a truly enjoyable experience. Despite arriving at the hotel late at night, at 12:30 am, the staff was incredibly attentive.

The breakfast buffet is open until 10 am, which was incredibly convenient, and the spread was well-organized. There was something for everyone, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot breakfast items like eggs and sausage.

The hotel staff is the secret sauce to this place - they are all so friendly, helpful, and professional. It is clear that they all work together well and genuinely care about providing their guests with a positive experience.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Mac and I spent one night here on way to Florida. Outstanding job by all. The staff was friendly. The room was updated and very clean. The pillows and bed were extremely comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake. All fresh breads, juice, waffles, eggs, oatmeal etc. The two lovely woman who managed the breakfast nook were amazing. The way they greeted everyone was heartwarming. Darlene was one and I feel horrible not remembering the other beautiful woman’s name. This will be my location going to and from Florida. Great Job!

Rooms and entire hotel was very clean, even the stairwells. The Rep that checked us in didn't have a name tag on but she was very professional and warm. In the morning we had the delight of meeting and interacting with Willow and Darlene. Loved the warm personalities in the morning. Will definitely stop in again.

I've stayed at this hotel as a halfway point on my drives back and forth from state to state. It is a very well kept clean Hampton Inn. I highly recommend it. Also, there is a Cracker Barrel just across the parking lot to walk to - very convenient when your tired and don't want to drive to a restaurant.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean. The bed comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the waffles yummy. Checked out in 10 seconds. If you need a quick stay while traveling 95 this is a good stop.

Front desk attendant service is top notch and we appreciated everything! Coffee in the lobby and bell hop carts, extra cleaning onsite, very nice!

Thank you Hampton Inn & Suites Walterboro, SC! I booked an adjoining handicapped accessible room and regular room to attend a family reunion on 9/23/2023. I became ill and could not attend. My cousin and his fiancée drove my mother to Walterboro for the family reunion. I was praying that my physically challenged elderly mother would approve of her stay at Hampton Inn & Suites and SHE DID!!! My mother was a hotel Maid many years ago and she said, "I couldn't find one thing wrong, I loved my room!" "The people here were very nice to me." My mother also said that her bed was "so comfy" that she slept in and skipped the FREE BREAKFAST altogether. That says a lot. A lot of places forget about the elderly and the handicapped, but Hampton Inn & Suites did not! We plan to book here again for the Holidays. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to BRIANNA GREEN & THE ENTIRE TEAM who worked the weekend of 9/23/2023 to make sure my family was well taken care of!

The front desk attendant was extremely welcoming when I arrived. Also, during the morning the lady that was overseeing the breakfast area was legit making waffles for anyone that wanted one and bringing them over to their tables. She was so friendly, it was awesome to see.

Very clean, like immaculate, efficiently laid out rooms. Hospitality was top rate. The management should be proud of all the teams- I’d certainly stay here again and I highly recommend over all the other options in the area. 👏

We use Hotwire and it does not include the pet fee. Not totally surprised so not an issue. This could be and is a sticky issue for those who are budget minded. Our hostess handled it well. The room was very clean and no sign of pet usage.

Very comfortable and quite stay. What really made the stay was the bright ray of sunshine at breakfast, Darlene. She made me an amazing waffle!!! She was talking with guests asking where they are from and you can just really tell this is someone that enjoys their job and takes pride in what they do!

A nice place to stay in the LC. The only real downside is the room cost...and there's not much going on in Walterboro of course.

This is a great Hotel. It's clean, Friendly and quiet. Near restaurants ( Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesdays,)Mcdonald's and gas. Have stayed there twice and will again. The only thing is there is not a safe in the room.

Wonderful stay ! Super comfortable and clean! Our doggie was welcomed ! Darlene in the breakfast area was fantastic ! Our room was superb , comfortable and clean ♥

Great hotel! We had a minor issue with our first room (blinds wouldn’t close)- they were quick to help and moved us to a new room. Staff is so friendly! Our kids loved the pool. Typical hotel buffet breakfast when it comes to food choices but the dining area is super clean and organized. Would definitely stay here again!
