The Riverbank Bar

Cute bar! Went for the grand opening of the dog friendly patio. Prime location. Drinks are affordable & delicious. The food looked really good, but didn't personally try it. Definitely a place I would go back to!

Got the blackened cheese burger and a house old fashioned. I loved their take on the old fashioned, using maple syrup as a sweetened added a dimension I wasn't expecting. The bigger was juicy and cooked perfection; spicy without being overwhelming. I recommend!

Absolutely fantastic food. Great service as well. My friends booked up a third of the place for her bridal shower and their service was top notch. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome food.

Fun atmosphere, great drinks, stellar service and yummy food! You really can't go wrong with this place. It's a fun neighborhood hangout. The staff is friendly, helpful and remember who we are. We highly recommend it!

Really excellent staff. The head bartender and owner were really fantastic and engaging. Drinks need a little refinement but definitely headed in the right direction.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Riverbank Bar. Actually went for the food rather than the bar, and was not disappointed. Hamburger was think, juicy, and perfectly grilled medium rare. The Scotch Eggs were a treat, not very common and excellently executed. Also, the Sweet Potato Hummus Plate was spectacular. Hoping that the current menu expands in the future to take more advantage of the good cooking coming from the kitchen. Service, atmosphere, and live music we're also all excellent. Looking forward to return visits.

Grabbed a beer and a meal with a friend on a random Thursday night. Going here felt like I walked in to the best kept secret on the east side. The bar, the vibes, everything felt super classy and nice. The bartender was very friendly, made me a fantastic manhattan.

I enjoyed it because it was quaint in some weird way.... pleasantly quiet. Really good food and you can tell they put a lot of energy and thought into the space. The furniture/dinner tables was dazzling. I will absolutely come back and next time I'll take my girlfriend.

This bar is awesome and even through the pandemic they’ve made sure to keep the vibe positive while staying safe and following CDC guidelines. I feel safe being there. Their cocktail menu is perfect and well designed so that the flavors match the season. Nick was an awesome help when ordering! It’s crazy to me that the house cocktails are so cheap after reading the spirits in them. I fear local businesses are lowballing their product due to the current events. Know that locals are happy to pay for the effort the business puts into their brand. Will return!

Tried this place for the first time tonight- good food, great cocktails, and super friendly staff. Chris at the bar helped us choose some tasty drinks and the owner, Seth, came by a few times to check in on us and chat. The live music was nice, not so loud that we had to shout across the table and they had a really talented female vocalist. I have a feeling we'll end up being regulars at Riverbank.

Hands down the best burger I’ve had in town. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and inviting. Staff is incredibly friendly and the music was great. I’ve seen some reviews talking about the speediness of the service. Let me put it this way. If you are looking for fast food go to McDonald’s! If you want to enjoy your evening and your company come here. I am a creature of habit and don’t like to deviate from my normal watering holes or restaurants. Well I’m deviating and will be a regular!!!

I arrived at the bar with one intention in mind, to have a cold brew. I was quickly greeted and seated. I met the owner, Seth, who had some interesting stories about he and his wife. The entire experience was awesome and if I find my way back to Utah, I will DEFINITELY stop again!

so fabulous! super friendly wait staff--and owner stopped by to chat to ensure we were happy with everything. food was DELISH! i had the catfish and my girlfriend had the steak. we both cleaned our plates. didn't have any drinks but the menu looked amazing. also missed the music as we were there on a wednesday night. hope to make it back during the weekend!

Great beer selection. Solid cocktails. Wednesday night acoustic set was super good. Way better than anticipated. Friendly management. But maybe a pool table or two would be dope.

The Riverbank Bar, owned and operated by the folks at Campfire Lounge, is void of any character or decor. It is just a room, with cheap tables and a standard bar. It's the kind of place you might see sitting next to a bowling alley in a normal American city. But this is Salt Lake City, Utah, and really any bar should be applauded for their perseverance in getting a liquor license in this tightly controlled theocracy.

We stopped in for a couple after having dinner a block away. Riverbank is about five minutes from our home, in a kind of "out of the way" spot. Joe, our bartender, was very nice and answered my questions with grace and good cheer. The country western band playing the evening we stopped in was annoying at best, but I assume there's an eclectic roundtable of musical genres on tap. I will return to have a drink or ten, Hey, I might be able to even walk home. Perhaps I'll bring some pictures with me next time, to help that sorry decor. I guess the liquor laws force taverns to have an extremely low overhead. Undercurrent may be the only bar in SLC that may have hired a designer. Yikes.

Love this place. It has a relaxed atmosphere, amazing food, and awesome cocktails. The staff is always friendly. I'm surprised it's not totally packed here every night!

I forgot to take pictures but this place was awesome. The wings were moist but crispy, the drinks were flavorful and strong, and they are dog friendly! The staff made sure our pup had lots of water to drink.

Chill place to relax with friends after a hard days work. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff was very friendly.The drink menu was awesome and the house chips paired great! I'll be back on the weekend as I guess they have live music to enjoy.

Such a good vibe. Great staff and great basic food. Wide selection at the bar as well as beers on draft and bottle. The cool bar owner is usually around too.
