Ladys Island Dockside

This restaurant was amazing. The parking lot looks full but when you go inside the restaurant has lots of tables inside and out and we were seated immediately. I loved the view it made eating that much more enjoyable and worth the drive. I would definitely go again. The food was so delicious and filling. The restaurant is very clean inside and out and the bathrooms were very clean as well. The entire staff was polite and organized and the flow was so smooth and as fast as we ordered they were bringing it out.. This place needs more than 5 stars..

I accidentally ended up in Beaufort SC on my way to NY from Florida. What a treat! What a beautiful of a town Beaufort was!!

A city tour without dining is incomplete. So I was looking for a restaurant with good review, great view and menu that utilizes local ingredients. And Ladys Island Dockside exactly fit my search criteria, and even with that 1 hr wait, the whole dining experience totally exceeded my expectation.

Service was somewhat slow because it was packed. I ordered crab cake, softshell crab, lowcountry boil. They all tasted great and I ended up ordering the crab cake and the softshell crab twice.

Big standing ovation to the kitchen staff and I will be back for sure during my next visit to this beautiful city of Beaufort, SC.

This parking lot here is full every time I drive past to go to hunting island and I alway want to stop but just don’t have the time. I finally stopped for an early dinner a couple weeks ago and had the items pictured and all I can say is you should stop by if you have the chance. No joke the best calamari I’ve had and the she crab soup was amazing. The scored flounder was the star of the show with the sides. Go

100stars in my book. The Ribeye was absolutely delicious. Drinks were good and stout. Bartenders rocked it with the service!!

Being an restaurant owner myself it takes a lot to impress me. The food was delicious, service was great and if I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely go back!

While visiting the area from Georgia, my family and I searched for a seafood place to have dinner. Previous reviews helped select this location, and I would definitely agree! The food was delicious and very tasteful! My 9 year old had crab legs with shrimp low country boil which he demolished! The seafood pasta, which I had was amazing! My husband had the scallop piccata which he said had a nice spice flavor, and my 5 year old had fried shrimp and fries which he finished! Their cornbread was so soft and flavorful. For appetizers, we had hush puppies and buffalo shrimp 👌🏼. We loved all of it!!!

I would also like to add that all the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Thank you all for such a pleasant visit!

Had an amazing time at dockside. The best oysters, she crab soup, shrimp, and cornbread I've ever eaten. Servers were extremely nice and funny! If you are touring or coming down to see family, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and bar.

Lacey took very good care of us tonight, even after having a hard table before us. She really made sure that we had the best experience possible!

Nice place to have seafood in the Beaufort,SC area. Be prepared to wait as its quite crowded. loud inside the restaurant, but worth visiting to enjoy the seafood platter. little on the pricer side. but good choice of seafood on the menu. Enjoyed the seafood platter and the she crab soup.

Amazing food! Service was good when we got it, seems like once you got your food it goes down. The corn bread was amazing, steak was very tasty. Seafood platter was impressive and no complaints. Even the kids burger was massive, also delicious. This will be a new stop for us when we camp in the area from now on.

Our go-to place for great food, drinks and atmosphere in Beaufort area. Prices are quite reasonable, and the staff is very attentive and professional. It gets very busy, but in a good way and you won’t be disappointed at hanging out at the bar to wait for a table - in fact, we often prefer to stay at the bar and have dinner. Bartender Mike and rest of the staff are great.

We had a 93 year old with us and they eloquently seated us ahead of others out of respect, a classy move. The food was outstanding! I had the crab cakes and I think they must have a filler shortage here 🤣
Our server Megan was outstanding and in the days of customer service challenges that is commendable. I wish that I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you Dockside for a fantastic experience

My Family was in town for the Graduation of my Son and Dockside was recommended. From the parking area (with clam shells surrounding beautiful trees) to the moment we entered, seated by the water(Window View) everything and everyone was amazing! The server was professional and friendly and it seemed like she took our order and returned within 10 minutes with our meals!🤗

The presentation was beautiful and the taste...even better! (My Dad had the Captains platter, my Mom had Shrimp and Grits, my Daughter had the kids Chicken and Fries and I had the Honey -Bourbon Chicken). I shared with her that it was such a wonderful experience in every single aspect! I would definitely recommend Dockside to anyone that just needs or desires a beautiful place with a wonderful atmosphere to share with Family or Friends...or even by yourself!

This visit was a Blessing! Truly!

Love the food, drinks and service! Only complaint… it was very toasty inside and the patio. 🔥🔥 Not much of a wait at all, food came out super fast. The service from start to finish was amazing from host to waitress and bus staff. You really have an amazing cohesive team! ❤❤🍻✌❤ I love the cornbread, hush puppies and calamari. Thanks for a great evening!

I was in town for business and decided to get this place a try. It didn't disappoint. Steak and seafood was great.

Better Shrimp & Grits than I've had in Charleston! The Soft Shell Crab was so meaty and the New England Fish & Chips was authentically New England! We ate the cornbread for dessert...light and fluffy and not too sweet! Just an amazing meal with wonderful service!

Food was absolutely delicious, very friendly staff, beautiful view over the water and live music. If it's the weekend, plan on waiting for your table, but there is good reason for that. It is definitely worth waiting. I recommend the grilled swordfish.

Great food, great atmosphere, Michael had a great personality && very welcoming. Food was fabulous && I'm a saucy kinda gal && the tarter was superb paired with the Fried Cod && Shrimp 🍤

Absolutely amazing! The servers are great. The frozen mixed drinks are just right, not too strong. There’s always a wait, but it is so worth it! Best seafood place I’ve been. The Dockside Dinner has everything you could want in one order. I highly recommend that!

First time eating here, we arrived early at 4 pm when they opened and there was a line started at door. Everyone was seated quickly and service was great. We chose the Dockside Dinner and Swordfish steak. Everything was very fresh and delicious. You will not be disappointed. 😋
