Gilligan's Seafood Restaurant- Beaufort

Server was great.
Drinks were amazing and was able to answer all questions. Highly suggest the Banana , coconut, and pineapple drink!
Food was delicious.
Added crablegs to the meals and they were great as well.
Steamed oysters were great.

Served 9 people and nobody had a complaint.

My son LOVED the calamari.

It was wonderful!! I had my autistic nephew with me who is 18.
Our waitress was so kind. I requested a kid's menu for my nephew and even though it says 10 and under she did not even bat an eye. I regret that I did not get her name but she has short gray hair and wears glasses. I thanked her for her kindness. To which she replied the world always needs kindness.
I cannot sing her Praises enough. In addition to that view was amazing food delicious.

The raw oysters are delicious! The grilled trio was also delicious! The shrimp dip was very good too! We will definitely be back!

First trip to the low country and we had to try a restaurant named Gilligan's.....We were greeted as soon as we walked in and sat promptly. The service was great and the food was amazing. Sea food has always been hit or miss with me and this place hits. The hush puppies have an amazing flavor that is sweet yet flavorful. The cheese sticks are perfect bite sized mozzarella. My wife had the snow crab legs and they were more than enough to fill the plate. For me the low country was an absolute hit with shrimp and sausage on a bed of rice. We will absolutely be back here again.

Wow! Their food was amazing! I had Honey Blackened Salmon (asked for mine to be grilled only). Was fanominal! Their Hushpuppy's, Buffalo Chicken Tender appetizers, and Mozzarella Stick appetizers were top-notch. Not only would I eat their again, but I would suggest to anyone who enjoys fresh tasting seafood to stop by and enjoy. Shout out to our server/ waitress CLEO! She did a phenomenal job keeping up with my thirty self and my 2 employees' drinks and other needs. She is kind, professional, and brings a smile to your face. Thank you to the manager, Eric, for stopping by our table to check on us. Very thoughtful and courteous. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and it will not disappoint. Thank you.

Great atmosphere and artwork. Great drinks and the shrimp tacos are wonderful! Can’t wait to come back and try more things and drinks.

This place may not look as fancy as some of the seafood restaurants in the area, but the food and the view are fantastic.

We had the shrimp dip appetizer and the fish and chips with hush puppies. Both menu items were large portions and very delicious. The service was great as well.

Cut through the garbage reviews that have nothing to do with food quality or service and you will see this is a good restaurant. Loved the crabby patty ( crab cake on a hamburger patty) and shrimp tacos. We'll be back.

It was my first time visiting here with my husband and the food was ridiculous awesome good!!! I’m from nyc and live in boston and South food are way different!!! The way they season the food is crazy good!!! Omg! I recommend this place to my family and friends!!

Awesome place. Great people, food is outstanding. Highly recommend. Went out of their way to honor our new Marine freshly completing basic. Ordered Gilligan's stew first time I went. Flavor off the charts. Second day went for dinner. Shellfish dinner. Definitely enough to fill you belly. Keylime pie was perfect. Had a child with celiac disease so he could not have gluten. They had a menue for him as well. Again awesome place.

We have driven by Gilligan‘s every time we come to visit this areas an always say that one day we will stop in to eat there. Well today was the day. We first got out of the car an walked around the parking lot looking at the scenery an decided to take a picture at their sign. While we were out there the manager came out an asked if she could help an take the picture of our group so we could all be in it at once. She was super nice an went above an beyond to help take our picture. She also checked on us an all the other guests several times throughout our meal. Top notch customer service. Our waitress, Anysa (please forgive me if I’ve misspelled) was amazing. She continually checked on us without being overwhelming, gave helpful advice about menu items, kept our drinks refilled, remembered everything we asked for, and did everything in a timely manor. Excellent customer service as well. Now onto the food.. there were four of us an we all had amazing food! Hands down the best tasting hush puppies I’ve ever had. My husband said the fried shrimp were the best cooked an flavored he’s ever had. The fish was battered an fried perfectly. I could go on an on. Literally everything was delicious an super fresh. Oh an the mozzarella sticks. Just wow. Trust me an don’t skip out on those. The restaurant was clean and tables all freshly wiped down. The restrooms were clean well. All the staff was very nice an we didn’t have to wait long to be seated or for our food. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the theme of the restaurant an fish tanks, to the amazing staff, an especially the food! We will most definitely be back on our next trip. Thank you for an amazing meal!

Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Service was great and food had me drooling on myself it was so fresh and good. The crabby patty did not disappoint.

We stopped coming here 2 years ago because the quality and service were not good at all, but recently decided to try again. The last few times we have visited, the food has been very good, not over priced, and service was great. We’re so happy this place has turned things around! Amber was our server for lunch today, and she was extremely nice and very attentive.

If I am ever in the area again, this is is where I will be going. They are doing amazing things here for our Marine's. If you want to make your money go further than just a dinner, this is where to do it. They do a lot of work supporting Marines who do not have any family available to be there for them.

The food was delicious. I got the crab cakes, which were wonderful and the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer which were amazing. We had a table of 9 and our server was wonderful. She checked on us often and was swift to get the things we needed. Everyone left happy and that includes people who came from FL and know their seafood. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food and it was fresh.

My son has Celiac Disease and they have a gluten free menu. His food was also amazing and he has not demonstrated any signs of contamination. My GF people know what a blessing that is. GF isnt always GF. Lol.

An amazing place to eat and a wonderful owner who truly cares about our Marines. He thanked my son and you could see the true heart in his words.

Stop by and you will NOT regret it. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Came home to visit and my cousin suggested Gilligan’s, it’s been years since I’ve eaten here and I was not disappointed. From the hush puppies to the gumbo everything was delicious. Food came out quickly and hot. I will definitely be back. The red rice alone is enough for me to come back for. Don’t pass on stopping here.

Simply the very best Seafood, Fried Green Tomatoes, Low Country Collards, Fried Okra, Corn Fritters ( Hush Puppies )!!!

I know that there are many good seafood restaurants in the Beaufort S.C. area, however you do not want to miss out on a delicious and delightful experience at Gilligan’s Seafood Restaurant!!!

Fun spot for lunch or a quick bite. Very casual and laid back. Nice marsh view, also had outside seating. Food was very good. Loved the free Hushpuppy appetizers. Light, crispy slightly sweet batter. Very fluffy inside. My CrabbyPatty was quite good. Burger with just the right amount of crispy side bits from cooking a d crab patty had a good amount of crab.

We love Gilligan's - the food is fantastic, the service was great, the view is beautiful and Erich is so nice and helpful! Not our first time enjoying Gilligan's, and certainly won't be it last! We'll be back, and soon!

The food was absolutely delicious. But the service that we were given by the sweet waitress outshined the food. I made it a point to tell the manager how great she was. Will definitely return here on another visit to SC
