I really enjoyed my fried combo flounder and shrimp with homemade chips and slaw. My Dad loved his regular order of fried oysters, and Mom says their oyster stew is one of the best she's had. My brother enjoyed his burger with a fried egg, hash browns casserole, and bagel. Service was good, fairly busy for lunch, so understandable that it took a while for our order to come out.

As you come in, you are welcome by a lovely member of the staff. Nice music plays in the background, and the smell of the food near you definitely tells you made a good choice where to eat breakfast/brunch. This place is not far away from the MCRD military base located across from the Hilton hotel and a great option for a nice breakfast with the family.
As you wait for your meal, the server, which was really friendly and polite, brings you a piece of jalapeno corn bread with butter.
My choice this time was shrimp and grits, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The plate looks great and smells even better. 7 pieces of perfectly seasoned shrimp on top of a bed of cheese grits with pieces bacon, green onions, mushrooms, pepper, and ham complement the dish.
Now, if you manage not to eat the whole plate and you have space for something sweet, the beignets are a perfect finish to a great meal.

Really great place for Sunday brunch but they were pretty busy! I loved that they have mimosa flights. The server was extra accommodating to my friend who has diabetes and made sure her juice was on the side of her mimosa. Food was filling and delicious. I would have loved to sit outside but they weren't seating outside when I was there due to low staff but we're hoping to open it up once the proper amount of servera were there. Worth checking out!

We were in town and wanted to try a local spot for breakfast instead of our typical go to. We came here and they did not disappoint. The shrimp & grits came highly recommended and they weee great. My wife had the French toast breakfast which was also delicious. We would definitely recommend the red rooster

It was my first time there, as we were traveling and a local friend suggested we stop for breakfast.

I loved every little thing about my breakfast! The bacon was perfect, the eggs were delicious, the toast unique, and the fruit a miniature desert.

My friends, who had the shrimp and grits, said it was the best they ever had.

And to make the visit even better, our waitress was so friendly and helpful!

The jalapeño cornbread was the best cornbread we have ever had - melts in your mouth with a little kick. Peach tea was delicious! Fried green tomatoe BLT was fantastic. All our food was amazing. Service was good. Only complaint was the bathroom was a mess with paper towels all over the floor.

Excellent brunch spot. Outdoor seating was kindly opened for my family to accommodate our 2 dogs, and despite the extra effort it took to serve us outside, our waitstaff was exceptionally pleasant and attentive. The food was phenomenal which we knew was going to be the case because a steady stream of locals were coming in to eat or picking up takeout.

I'm usually not a fan of shrimp and grits, but their shrimp and/or catfish and grits was INCREDIBLE!! I was craving it on the way home from Savannah and picked here based on the reviews. Best decision. The jalapeño cornbread and mimosa flights added an extra special touch. I highly recommend this establishment!! The service was great and food was so delicious that I purchased a t-shirt and will be returning 😋

Everything was excellent except the table of young marines that were very loud and vulgar and wouldn't stop. It was only 2 of 10 but still it upset us and alot of other patrons. Management should have stepped in. But otherwise, we had a wonderful server, the food was great!! I will return to this establishment 😊

My wife and I love this place for breakfast and lunch. Excellent menu and servers are always polite. Be warned that service is very slow but if you go here and enjoy the atmosphere and aren't in a rush, it's worth waiting. Try the peach tea it's amazing.

Red Rooster 🐓 Cafe was referred to by my Co worker, she let me try a little bit of her shrimp and grits one day, and I was hooked. Just visited the restaurant today with my boys, and we love it

I almost didn't order the shrimp and grits because I wasn't sure about the sausage, but it is amazing!! I'm happy I did! And honestly, I was surprised at the amount of food we got for the price we paid! Very reasonably priced. The inside of the restaurant makes you feel like you're at your friend's auntie's house 🐓 it was super cute and felt like a home 😍 We will definitely be back!

Probably the best food in the Beaufort area. We loved it so much we came here twice on our visit to Beaufort. Must have is the shrimp and grits! I also loved the Chicken and Waffles and Creamy tomato soup. My 16 month old loved the Jack Jack with Grapes. Only request is that when serving grapes, they should be cut because they are a choking hazard. Just request them cut and they will do it for you. Next time we visit, we will be back :)

Omg when I tell you the food deliciousness watering for more. I came to visit a friend she made a good choice to eat breakfast. I live in Philly but if I ever come back I need to visit again. Our waitress was so attentive. Great place you can tell it can very busy. Worth investing your money.

Loved the great food and the service! Great coffee, eggs cooked to order, and cheesy grits. Busy place on the weekends, but our server kept things moving! Our party’s food did not come out together, but that can be hard in a group of 9. We would go back!

Everything we had was excellent. Service and staff were great. Chicken and waffles, hamburger, fries, everything was great. The peach mimosas were delicious as well.

This is such a cozy local spot! The shrimp and grits dish has ruined me for shrimp and grits anywhere else. Every salad and sandwich that I’ve gotten here is delicious. Service is great. Just wish they were open for dinner!

Aaammmaazziiinnggg! The food and our waitress Sophia did not disappoint. Cornbread for breakfast 😋 great idea. The only tiny thing was the hostess seemed uninterested in greeting us but maybe she had a bad morning. Other than that Sophia more than made up for her attitude. We Will definitely be back🥰❤💯!!!
