Delicious food and wonderful service! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The fried flounder was huge, fried perfectly and the rice mix was super tasty! Lots of flavor. The mahi special was excellent - the sauce is so good even on its own. The cheesecake was also great - some of the best I’ve ever had!

This is a home town restaurant that has many unique dishes. The salads are huge (even at lunch). The burger and fries were great too. They have many interesting sandwiches and salads at lunch. They are well known for the shrimp and grits but that may only be in the evening, since it wasn't on the lunch menu the day we were there.

Went here for dinner with a group. The food and service was fantastic. I had the meatloaf which was wrapped in bacon on mash potatoes and a tomato bacon jam. The flounder was excellent as well. The server was great and helpful. The location is a nice place on the smaller side. The only item I did not like was the chairs for the high top tables, they are wicker and just uncomfortable. Overall though, I highly recommend. I would go back.

We’ve had several lunches and dinners here and highly recommend Wren. Food is creative and very good! One benefit is the restaurant is relatively quiet so easy on conversations with guests! Menu is limited but everything we’ve tried was excellent! The shrimp and the Green Fried Tomato’s are special! Their Thursday evening 3/4 lb Burger for $10 is amazing! Enjoy!

The meatloaf was impressive, visually and taste. Glad we went with the fried green tomatoes appetizer too, they were fully loaded.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere !!! I travel a lot and eat a lot, lol. The salmon dish I posted a pic of was the best I EVER HAD!!! The only negative was wine selection. Not one Italian wine.... not even a basic Chiante. With that said I HIGHLY RECCOMEND this fabulous restaurant.

Excellent! The place for recommended for us by our real estate agent when we were visiting Beaufort couple day ago. Amazing food, pleasant staff and their Strawberry Mocktail is a must!

I had the veggie tacos and an old fashioned, both were delicious! This place has a really calm cute vibe, and the server was really good and charming!

Wren did not disappoint. It’s been several days since our last visit, and we are still discussing the food. Our server (I believe her name was Lily) was excellent. As far as starters, the Fried Green Tomatoes are lovely, but the star is by far the Shellfish Bisque. Meal-wise, the table had the Salmon, Mahi Mahi, and the Pecan Chicken - all dishes were delicious. For dessert, we had the Flourless Chocolate Cake, and it was so good.

Stopped by late but was served with a welcoming attitude and great service. Sarah checked with chef and got us set up for service. Delicious appetizer and meal. She made me a wonderful fall bourbon mixed drink. Genuine southern hospitality.

Both the Salmon and Sam's pasta entree's were also excellent. too full for dessert and still took half our entrees home.
Our server Lilly was attentive and a pleasure.
Have been to Wren many times and will continue to go back.

Upscale food, metro chic atmosphere, little "nooks" for privacy, attentive wait staff, quite reasonable prices. All wins! Choosing exactly WHAT to eat is a VERY difficult decision. Calls for more than one visit. 😉

Loved the food and the cocktails. We had to sit at the bar because we didn't have a reservation and "that's all that is available is bar seating". We were there for a while and it seems a lot of those reservations were canceled or were no shows because there were plenty of open and unoccupied tables. Make that make sense. The bartender took care of us though so there's that!

Me & My Chef -

This is our second time having a fantastic experience!! We absolutely loved our Meals. My MIL is from the low country and this is just the spot for true Southern cuisine. The portions were perfect to share and more than enough for one. Fresh and cooked perfectly, you MUST make this place a priority for Lunch or Dinner. Menu allows the opportunity for everyone to find something they will rave about!

Wait staff was very pleasant and professional as always. Food came out in a timely manner and tasty. When traveling frequently from Greenville SC to the Sea Islands the Wren is a "must do." 👍🏽

Food has always been great. However we've been trying for a couple of days to reach them by phone to add one to a reservation. No one answers and voicemail says nothing about it being Wren and the mailbox is always full. Frustrating.

I gave a 4 star on service because we sat for awhile before our server came to the table. Lots of workers passed us but no one stopped. I think our server was overloaded. She was kind and did a good job. Food was fantastic, we ordered fried green tomatoes, garlic shrimp, and my hubby and I both got small salads with chicken. For dessert we got the flourles chocolate cake. All was very good. Would go back for sure!!!

The absolute best shrimp and grits I have ever had. My girlfriend had the pecan crusted chicken and it was amazing. Put this in the must visit category when visiting Beaufort!
